Sometimes when I open Calendar, it is blank even when I have entered appointments. When this happens, I tap calendars and tap hide all calendars and then tap show all calendars and mt appointments appear. How do I get the Calendar app to show my appointments without going through this extra step? Thanks

Mavericks (OS 10.9) is buggy. When I open Calendar, I get a message "Moving calendars to server account." Calendar freezes and this message goes on interminably. The only way to stop it is to restart the system. How do I fix that?

- I had the same problem and I suddently found out:
Close (quit) calendar
Under System-Icloud : log out
Open calendar. Under preferences, Account, Icloud: log in !!
And it works!!
now the stupid ""Moving calendars to server account" is gone! -
New problem, Lycos Mail is my home page. When I open a new window I usually get Google search, which is what I want. Now, somehow when I open a new window I get Yahoo search. How do I change it back to Google?

If that isn't the case then an extension has changed that behavior.

Problem description:
(MacBook Pro 15” late 2008, OSX Yosemite 10.10.2 installed, no pending updates) computer is running very slow - takes 2-3 minutes to open apps such as Pages, even when no other apps are open. Randomly freezes and becomes unresponsive, requiring forced power down. Randomly logs off. Removed Kodak AIO software via Clean My Mac2, but BonjourAgent still there and requesting access. Cleaned weekly with Clean My Mac2 and running Sophos AntiVirus. 2GB memory installed. Currently 169.99 GB available of 249.2 GB capacity.

Something happened with Firefox where all that comes up when I open Firefox are my toolbars and a place to enter a URL, but there is no window. I have to enter full screen mode to view websites. How do I get back to a regular browsing window? I have no idea how this even happened.

When you open a new browser tab, underneath the box to type in what you are looking for is the recently visited list. I want to disable or delete this list...how do I get rid of this list???

How do I undo an update to pages 2.1 on an iPad 2? I can no longer open a document previously saved, even when I try to open it in the iCloud and on my Mac.
With IOS Pages v2.0 and v2.1, Apple introduced a new document format that is incompatible with prior Pages versions on IOS or OS X Pages ’09. Opening older documents with these recent versions of Pages will permanently prevent the document from opening in earlier versions of Pages on IOS or OS X.

There is no undo of an iTunes application update, short of forcing iTunes to restore IOS v6 back on that iPad 2. Even if you did that, you won't find the IOS Pages v1.7.2 in the iTunes store now.
IOS Pages v2+ will allow you to export content in Word .docx format. You do this by first tapping the box with an up-arrow in it (next to the left-most +). A menu will slide up — choose Send a Copy. Select a document icon. Pick Mail, and then Word. Your Pages v2.1 document will now be converted to Word .docx, and attached to an email body. Fill in the to address and send. -

In Firefox Options / Privacy be sure "Remember download history" is checked. To see all of the options on that panel, "Firefox will" must be set to "Use custom settings for history".

You won't be able to download music, films or TV programmes from iTunes until either they are available in Pakistan (which will need a sufficient number of content providers to grant Apple a license to sell their content there), or you move to a country where they are sold. Are there other music purchase downloads sites in Pakistan ? You can also copy your own music CDs via your computer's iTunes (so you could buy CDs and copy them) and sync them to your phone.

You've introduced TABS but I discovered by opening Yahoo and running a video that it continues when I open a new tab! Not good. Have I missed a setting or ??? This may be just the way it is but it somewhat defeats the ease of going to a often used web site using tabs.
So, you are meaning that if you have a video running in one tab, then go to another, the video continues to run? yes, that is normal behavior.
Tabs are basically having like multiple windows inside one main window. It is just as if you opened a video in a window, started it playing, then opened a new window, the video would still play.
