Song beginnings and endings

I have Garageband 1.1.0. I haven't used it much. Is it possible to make clean intros and endings to songs such as I am able to do with a drum machine? Do the loops have intros and endings?
I have been recording all my songs on a Roland VS 1880 starting with programming the song on a drum machine.
I am thinking about upgrading to GB 3 if this is possible.

I'm sorry I didn't make my question clear. Computer recording is new to me.
When I program patterns with my Boss drum machine I can write a pattern for the intro to the song and one for the ending. I am assuming the patterns within GB are called loops. I am curious to know if they can be edited similar to the patterns on the Boss drum machine for intros and endings?
From your answer, it appears they can.

The problem is, after the bounce, the beginnings and endings are truncated with the result of awful clicks between tracks. The regions are meant to run continuously, and they do, in Logic. I've made a collection of songs in garageband, and have them now as .aif files in my itunes library under the same album name. How do I trim the beginnings and endings of the tracks so that my album flows better?

I "shared" the songs I made in garageband to itunes. Now the songs have some extra time of silence after they end, which makes the album i'm trying to put together feel more broken. I want to make the tracks flow perfectly through each other. I want to do it permanently, also, so that when i share the album it doesn't have space in it.
In the past I have imported all the songs into one garageband file and arranged them so they slightly overlap as a continuous track but then i didn't know how to split them back up so the tracks would still be actually separated. I can't find any information on this. I know I can sort of cut the songs in the "get info" options in itunes, but the song still lists as longer, itunes just makes it jump early.

For the missing Artists on your iPod, make sure their tracks in iTunes are not marked as "Part of a compilation" in iTunes. You can do this by highlighting the track, right->clicking on them and choosing "Get Info" from the shortcut menu. When the window pops up, head over to the Info tab and make sure there is NO tick mark next to this option in the lower right hand corner. Lastly, sync the updated changes to your iPod.

My speaker doesn't work when I try to listen to music or open up a quick time file, however they seem to work perfectly when I listen to a voice memo (p.s. the volume slider disappears in a song page and even in the multi tasking bar)

Thanks for your solution, it wasn't quite what solved the problem but i remembered that i had a bit of salt water on my phone recently and spraying the charging port with an anti-oxide spray solved my problem, do you mind if i ask, how is the charging port related with the volume or/and speakers?

Err this is no longer April 1st you know.
The iPod Shuffle has never had a 'display' on which track names can be shown. PS. The current iPod Shuffle even though it has no display on which it can show the track names can read them out loud to you using a voice-synthesiser this is the VoiceOver feature described on the iPod Shuffle product page I listed above.

My iphone 4 keeps switching songs, playing and pausing by itself especially when I use my headphones

Ever since I installed the iOS 7.1 update, my iPhone 4 keeps playing, pausing, switching to the next song, fast forwarding by itself. Especially when I use my headphones. It's getting really frustrating because not only is it when I listen to the music player, but also on youtube videos and then it pause the video and then play the music from the music player or it would pause music on soundcloud by itself too. This mostly happens when I use my headphones but when I don't use my headphones I don't see it happening.
A friend called me and I was using my headphones and the conversation kept getting hanged up by itself it wasn't until I stopped using the headphones that I could have a normal converstation, but I only talked for less than a minute without the headphones so it wasn't enough to tell me that it is the headphones that is the problem. So is it my phone or my headphones? Is this a software problem because of the update because my headphones were not doing this before, HOW CAN I MAKE THIS STOP. (This has been happening for almost a week now)
BTW: I also noticed that if I am listening to music on the music player or youtube and its in my pocket or hand and Im jumping to the song or shaking (lol) the songs pause and plays then switches to the next song aaaaurrrrrruuuuuuuggggggghrrrrrghhhhhhh WHATS GOING ON

It sounds like your touch screen is acting erratically and seems to be exacerbated when you have your earphones in. I recommend the information in the following article named:

Restart your device
Hold the On/Off button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the On/Off button to turn it back on.
If you can't restart your device, reset it by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for a least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Avoid using the device while wearing gloves, with wet hands, or immediately after applying hand lotion.

How can I listen to a song from my song list and play my guitar on GarageBand at the same time?

I want to listen to a song on my song list and play my guitar through GarageBand along with the song. I tried to do the iCloud thing but could not figure it out.

Not at this time. iTunes Match downloads all music listened to on iOS devices. Period.

About a month ago a song randomly appeared in my songs list and when I tried swiping to the left to delete the song it wouldn't slide over to show the delete button. The delete slide appears with all of my other songs except that one. P.S. iCloud is off.

I have a ipod nano, and I bought a Bose portable sound system, when I put my ipod in the unit and play my songs in shuffle mode, it plays the same song over and over, how do I get it to play in shuffle mode?

Sounds like the repeat setting has been enabled. See your iPod's User Guide for information on how to turn it off.

Ah yes school boy error there out of frustration and discontent..
My issue is with music/apps/films etc not downloading from iTunes / App Store.
They initially fail and message is displayed stating unable to download / purchase at this time, yet if I retry it says I've already purchased (?) or alternatively I go to the purchased section and there they are waiting with the cloud symbol..
However some items get frozen in the download window and cannot be retried or deleted. Message appears stating to tap to retry, but even if you stole every bath and sink in the uk you'd still not have enough taps.
I post here as the iTunes guys are useless in there 'help' and have only advised posting here or phoning apple, at my expense, to explain a problem that could be rectified by forwarding my original email to a techie. However the tech team apparently don't have an email address as they're from ye olde Middle Ages..!
Anyways I digress.
So I tried sync to pc, but instead of showing the file as ready to listen/use/view, the iCloud symbol shows and I'm back to square one as the item is unable to download..
At frustration station waiting for a train from pain...
All my software is up to date, and had all worked fine prior to the last big iOS update that resulted in all the changes in display and dismay.
