Song change issue

when im listening to a song and press the change song button it will take like 15 seconds to go to the next song. what should i do?

The songs change really slow and it seems to actually freeze eerytime i change the song that is playing is there a way to fix that?

You will have better luck getting responses if you follow some basic forum rules. The subject line needs to give people an idea of your issue so they can know if they can help. Just "songs changing" is too vague. Also the less information you give the less helpful responses other people can give you.
When you say "songs change really slow" are you saying there is a gap between when one song ends and another begins? Have you looked to see if iTunes is the program using up most of the CPU time? It could be another application that is using most of your system resources so other apps can not get enough.
iTunes 7.0 has lots of performance problems playing video, but I have not heard of anyone not being able to support audio.

Cover Flow Album Art won't change with Song Change

When I play songs in Cover Flow mode (landscape), the album remains on the same album that I first played even though the song has advanced to another album. Is this behavior consistent with anyone else or is this only my iPhone that is acting this way? Seems like the album art would change when the song changes, as it does in portrait mode.

I have many problems occuring randomly when i try to use Spotify on my Ipad Air 2 in the BMW car in offline mode.
*After some time Album Art and track names are no longer updated
* After some time some of the HMI buttons get greyed out
I was able to solve all these issues by temporarily enabling WLAN hotspot on my mobile phone, then spotif on the ipad will correct itself.
Of course that's no permanent solution to fiddle with the mobile phone while driving, it must be some sort of bug of spotify that will hopefully get fixed to have proper offline usability in the car.

HT1655 I have a 3rd generation shuffle. It has stopped working with the earphones it came w/pinch buttons on the cord. It will no longer advance to next song/change the volume. Even with a new set of Apple earbuds, it does same thing. How do i factory

Hey everyone, I think I've had some success with my time changing issues. I originally posted this to another user as a follow up to her question, but I'm reposting it here. Hope it helps:

So i went to the apple store to meet with an apple genius to ask him why my phone's time kept moving up 1 hour everytime I synced my phone. Well he said that he's never seen this problem before, and after a trying a reset and restore he let me exchange my phone. The problem is that when I went to sync my new phone the problem still persisted. They told me it was probably something to do with my computer and its time zone settings.
So I get home and click on my computers clock in the bottom right hand corner to bring up the date and time properties and sure enought my time is correct, the date is correct and the time zone is correct (Eastern Daylight Time). So I look through the different tabs (Date & Time, Time Zone, Internet Time). The first thing I tried to do was to change where my computer syncs its internet time. It was originaly set on NIST time. I then switched it to Windows time, but this didn't do anything. My clock would still change when I synced to itunes. The next thing I tried was fideling around in the Time Zone tabs. I noticed that the box that says "Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings" was unchecked, so I checked it and my computer's time jumped an hour ahead. So I left the box checked but moved my clock one hour back (to the correct time), clicked on apply and left it at that. I synced my iPhone and voila! The time didn't change! It stayed on the correct time! To to make a long story short, make sure that you computer's clock is set on "automatically adjust clock for daylight savings changes, make sure your time zone is correct, and that the time is right when that box is checked. I hope this helps you. I'm glad I got a new phone out of the deal;)

As I mentioned in my post, whenever I checked that box the time would be incorrect. It would move up an hour. I've messed with this along time ago, way before I got my iphone. I think this had something to do with the daylight savings change that was implemented this year or last year. I dont remember if I never tried correcting it before, or if I couldn't, but this time I didn't have any problems correcting it. Anyway, since I couldn't correct it back then, I just left the box uncheck and decided that I would change the time manually when the next time change occurs. But it seems to work fine now so all is well.

As some reason, I need to change issue method on some items in this Production Order, but I found that some items can be changed with a dropdown list, and some items can not be changed without dropdown list.
Why they are different?
What should I do to meet my users' request?

sorry i visits forum after long time .. item category means , when create item group there are two option Service / Material if u select service , inventory come under that group only in "Back flush" other wise u can select "Manual / Back flush"

OHD Strcuture change Issue

Hi All,
I am not able to change the structure of the OHD- TAB Database table type. OHD is not going into change mode. when I check object changeability options it says: its changeable but i revert it to non changeable and then again changeable after that i go into the change mode but when i change the fields and activate the structure it activates but after i log on again to system changes are not reflected.
also, after logging on let say i see the structure of one OHD not after that if i see the structure of another OHD it shows me structure of the first OHD i opened again n again for all OHDs opened until i again logoff and after logging in again same issue.
Is there any SAP note that would be helpful for this issue.

Esd shuts down after xmms song change

I (try to) use esd under xfce4, but it persistantly crashes in between song changes/after the first audio stream stops. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem on my system running esd. I found that if I used abs to rebuild esd and then changed the /etc/esd.conf file by taking out the "-terminate" option, everything worked ok. ESD hasn't given me any problems since.

When i install Arch, i was want that all aplications in my system will be lightweight... then for the musica i use mpd and ncmpc, but mpd or ncmpc doesn't have a method to notify when something change for example the new change on play.

Very nice work! I would LOVE to see this with a plugin-based system. Here's a pseudocode example:
when song_changes
for executable_file in plugin_directory; do
run executable_file with_parameters song_name song_artist (etc)
Just check if a file in plugin_directory has +x permission, and if so, run it. You could make the "default" plugin use your libnotify action, and anyone who wanted to extend it with their own could do so.

My volume changes when songs change on 4S

This has been happening for a while now on my iPhone 4S i got in January. It started a few months ago. I'll change a song or when the song changes, the volume will be noticeably different. It seems it goes louder when I click to the right for the next song but when I click to the left for the previous song it gets quieter. What causes this and how can I fix it?

Share one calendar on iCloud. Otherwise it will think the calendar is unique to each device.

Blind Song Changing in iPhone/iPod touch request

I like the way Apple creates its products. Each modern Apple gadget is simple, qualitative, reliable and complete, polished. But sometimes I got a feeling that when Apple engineers find a good way to solve a task they allowing themselves to forget that this way is not the only possible one. Maybe I wrong. I hope so.
Right now I’m talking about one exact feature – a blind song changing. This feature is usable when you prefer to keep your iPod in pocket. And to keep different music in your iPod. You’re tired of rock and right now you want a jazz song, just one.
As far as I know currently there are two ways to change songs in iPod touch or iPhone (if you are not using external controller). A first one – Shaking feature, which you will mostly like to disable if you’re keeping your iPod touch in trouser’s pocket because Shaking will sometimes occasionally switch a song. A second one – thru the touch interface. Which is almost impossible if you’re not looking at the display.
I would be more than happy to see a blind song changing feature in next iOS update. And I have my personal idea how it may be fulfilled. In “Setting” -> “General” there are options to determine iPod behavior when you press a Home (physical) button. Below “Home”, “Search” and “IPod” options Apple could place more options for iPod behavior while device is LOCKED. And there they could place an option to switch a song. It may react to double press. Or to long press. Or behavior by any different way Apple engineers would find possible. Also that’s how they would be able to keep things as they are for those users who don’t need to change anything.
I would like Apple engineers to see this topic. To know about the feature I and other consumers with demands similar to me need. Probably if this topic will get enough responses, Apple will fulfill a request and make iPod touch and iPhone even better. So I ask anyone who understand my position to answer anything to keep the topic up.

Have you investigated using Voice Control to control music playback? Voice commands can be used rather than touching the screen. This feature is available on the iPod Touch 3 Gen and 4 Gen (current).

Plug your iPod in and when it appears in iTunes, click on it from under Devices in the left hand pane. This brings you to the Summary tab. Locate and click on the Music tab. What configurations do you have made from under this tab? Is your iPod configured to sync those playlists?

I'd like to turn off the song changing attribute?

When I'm listening to my IPod and I'm doing anything with large movement involved (skiing, mowing, etc), the song changes if I move my arm or body too much. Is there some way to turn this attribute off?

Turn off shake to shuffle. From the Users Guide:
You can turn Shake to Shuffle on or off in Settings > Music (it’s on by default). See
“Music” on page 167.

Song Lyics Issue

I have recently added Lyrics to my songs in iTunes, but the issue is that I have already previously added these songs to my iPhone. Is there an way to add the lyrics w/o doubling up my songs in my phone. Also, I do not want to just sync since I have more songs in iTunes than can fit on my phone...I just want select certain ones.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

You have to add them to your phone again to get the lyrics. The ones added should just replace the ones already there.
Rather than dragging songs to your phone, why not make a playlist (or several playlists) of the songs you want on your phone and sync by selected playlist(s)? Then any changes you make in those songs in iTunes will be transferred to your phone when you sync.

Itunes song purchasing issues

When trying to purchase a song, A pop-up box says there's a billing issue with a previous purchase, and asks for my password. The password is never accepted. It is the same pw I use to login etc.I've tried even changing pw's with no joy. I have an ipod touch gen4 with the original ios. I've tried upgrading the ios in the past, and that just created way too many problems. Anyone else run into this issue when trying to make purchases?

Since some of your songs play correctly here are some suggestions.
Make sure your iTunes and Quicktime are up to date.
Then deauthorize, and reauthorize your computer for your iTunes Store account.
