Song Error Download notice on iPhone, but song transferred fine to iTouch
I keep getting an error notice when trying to download song on my iPhone, but the download transferred fine on my iTouch. The song appears in my music list on my phone but when I try to play it, the phone skips to another song in my playlist. Help! Please!

As a troubleshooting step, I would like for you to delete this file, then re-download it onto your computer using the information in the following article and see if that resolves the issue:

I had the similar problem last night and found a solution (although it takes more than a few clicks). Highlight all the album tracks in itunes on the pc and right click "get info". Check the artwork box in this window. I found that the now playing art was showing up in the itunes window, but on songs that were missing artwork showed nothing in the get info box. When I replaced the artwork by using the artwork command, or manually adding it into the "get info" window. It was annoying but my iphone updated every album.

If you are syncing music to the iPhone automatically, you won't be able to play tracks on the iPhone from iTunes, the music will be grayed out.
You can play them in iTunes if you Manually Manage the music on your iPhone though.
You could also Transfer the purchases from your iPhone to a computer. -

I think you downloaded BES10, try downloading the bbm app instead.

hey guys, iv recently changed over from the 4 to the 5 and i have lost my 5. Luckily a few days ago i downloaded find my iPhone but when i log in it tracks my old phone and not the new one. I have logged in so i dont know why it wont connect. I'm really upset about lossing it, if anyone one knows how to fix the problem or another way of tracking my phone that would be great.
The iphone 5 can only be located if connected to a data or mobile network. If in Airplane mode or switched off, it can't be found.

Select the content, Ctrl-click and choose get info, go to the summary tab and see where the content is listed as located. -

You have to have enabled Find My iPhone on your phone before it was lost in order for it to be located. If you did, you could play a loud two minute sound on it even if it was on slient, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmfc0f19b5.

II bought an album and it downloaded on my Iphone but in itunes on my computer, only the digital booklet downloaded. If I go to the I tunes store it shows as purchased and therefore I can't download it again. Please help

I upgraded to a iphone 5 and transferred my music to my new phone. Apparently what i think is happening is that my purchased music is automatically downloading to my iphone and I do not want this. I have checked manually manage music etc on itunes and turned off music from icloud on my phone so I think im ok there. My problem that I am having is that I cannot get rid of the music it already downloaded from the cloud. Please help I just want this off my phone.
I have the same problem. I have 21 songs that cannot be deleted. I have tried to delete them from my phone using itunes. I have deleted them from my itunes library completely and when I sync the phone they just keep coming back. The phone shows the cloud symbol to the right of the song title. When you touch the symbol a circle with a square in the centre represents loading the song. When that is complete I try to swipe form right to left and a delete button appears. Great! but when you touch it the song remains and the cloud symbol has returned. I have even tried a master reset on my phone to no avail. I do not have itunes Match and when I log into the cloud there is no where I can see where these songs are stored. My fifteen year old daughter has spent 4 hrs trying to figure this out and she gave up! HELP PLEASE! The songs are an album my daughter purchased from the itunes store using my ID and although she loves them on her ipod I can't stand them and can't get them off my phone. I don't even know how they got there in the first place. Arrrrgh!

Way to recover songs purchased from iTunes on iPhone but lost after update?
I went into the Apple Store to have a telephone problem addressed. Backed up the phone into iTunes before I went in (or so I thought). Even joined MobileMe as a precaution. In the store they had to wipe by iPHone 3GS and re-install settings. Went home, restored everything but the songs are gone. I believe all the ones I lost were songs purchased on the iPhone itself through iTunes.
Any helpful hints to get the songs back? Will iTunes show a receipt that I purchased them and allow me to re-acquire them? Am I sunk?

DrewIf you have Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, after purchasing a song with your iPhone the song will be copied to your iTunes library automatically the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes after doing so. If you manually manage music and video with your iPhone, it is manual all the way. You must manually copy a song purchased with your iPhone to your iTunes library. No iTunes content on your iPhone is included with your iPhone's backup. All iTunes content on your iPhone should be in your iTunes library. Music will be in your iTunes library automatically with Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences. The same applies with 3rd party apps with Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab. A MobileMe account has nothing to do with iTunes content and provides no precaution in this regard nor does any other email account.
Different from 3rd party apps, you can download music once. There is a purchase history for your iTunes account. You can contact iTunes store customer support to explain this problem and they may grant you an exception to re-download this music with iTunes on your computer.
