Song has been purchased but can't be downloaded.

I recently bought a new album (TALKING IS HARD by WALK THE MOON) and all but one of the songs has downloaded to my computer. The song in question (Sidekick), shows up in the iTunes Store as "Purchased" but does not give me the option to download it. Any solutions?

Does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on your computer's iTunes download it, or does it show in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for downloading ?

You may need to put the iPad into recovery mode for it to be recognised by your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPad and re-sync your content to it.

  • How can I retrieve the songs I purchased before? The site says that the song has been purchased and I want to retrieve them.

I have a new computer, when I am on the itunes store site and buying songs. It shows when I look at old songs that I have purchased them already but I have no record of them with the new computer. Is there a way to retrieve these songs?

Sorry Ralph, but music purchases from the iTunes store are a one time download only, so you'll have to repurchase these tracks.  However, some individuals have been allowed to redownload this purchased music for free by contacting iTunes support and explaining your situation to them.  Worth a shot at this point.
    Here is there contact page.

  • Ipad has been detected, but can't be ID properly

Ipad has been detacted by itunes, but can't be ID properly.

Are you Windows? Try disconnecting the device and reconnecting. Use a different USB port and make sure you are using a port on the computer - not a port on a hub.

  • Mountain Lion has been purchased, but won't download

I have purchased a copy of Mtn Lion, but can't get it to start downloading from the app store. It shows up in the "purchased" category. When I try to download it, all I get is the windmill like icon in the top left of the window by the arrows. If I switch categories, it stops, and it's like I was never downloading it in the first place. Any suggestions about how to get past this point?

Try to download from iTunes.  Restart your MacBook Pro and try again. Make sure your updated.

  • Can I resend am audiobook gift that has been redeemed but can't be located?

Hi all, I have gifted an audiobook on my ipad2 to my sister who redeemed it, but cannot locate it in her itunes account at all. Have tried to resend
as per instructions in itunes by signing in to my account and bringing up gifts (both on ipad and imac), but I don't get the 'resend gift' possibility coming up, I just get 'done'.
Am assuming this is because she did try to open it. She's now asking me to resend it as she says its lost. She hasn't set eyes
on it and as it's a birthday gift, don't want her to have to re-buy it.
    Appreciate any help, thanks.

If its showing as 'done' on the resend screen and not giving the resend option then that implies that she redeemed the gift onto her account (or somebody has redeemed it). Did she redeem it, and if she did has she checked that computer/device's library, and tried the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on her computer's iTunes to see if that downloads it ? She won't be able to redownload it as audiobooks are a one-time only download.
If she didn't redeem it then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support and see what they say : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
Or you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • Creative Cloud app has been purchased, but will not activate

I was using the trial version of Photoshop CC. My trial period expired, so I purchased a month subscription. This lead me to the download page. Hitting the download buton just brings up Creative Cloud. When I try to open Photoshop CC it still says my trial period is over. There is a button to license this software, but it asks for a serial number. I have no numbers. I have not even received a confirmation email. But the download page still says, "
Thank you!Your payment was processed. You can now download Photoshop by clicking the "Download" button."
    Any ideas?

When you have the Creative Cloud app open click on the gear icon and from the context menu choose Preferences.
With the Preferences dialog open click on the General tab and then choose Account. Click the Sign Out from Creative Cloud button.

  • HT204370 Once a movie has been purchased where can it be accessed on the cloud?

I bought a movie on iTunes, downloaded it, when I discovered it was using a lot of memory I deleted it, presuming it would transfer safely to iCloud. However, I cannot locate anything but music in my iCloud. How do I locate that movie in my iCloud?

  • The answer has been found for "ipod nano has been detected but can not be identified properly."

After MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS of troubleshooting this problem (for days) another poster fixed her problem in a discussion she had started.  It immdeiately fixed mine too.  Instead of only uninstalling iTunes, uninstall EVERY Apple program on your computer.  Go to Control Panel/Add-Remove programs.  In the list of programs, click the "Publisher" column at the top to sort by publisher name.  Then uninstall ALL of the Apple programs, including Bonjour, Application Support, Apple Applcation Support, etc. (They will all come back when you reinstall iTunes.)
Restart your computer, then reinstall iTunes.  Like magic my Nano was repsonding like the good old days.  It is happily staying connected and charging right now.
    Please pass it on!

I have tried everythng on the help page on apple

I thought of that, but my question is does it automatically flip to the CC.
    Yes.
If you have a gift card balance, iTunes will use that.
If the total is more than that, the difference will be charged to your credit card.
    You need do nothing.
See this -> iTunes Store: How to redeem a code
Free song credits are redeemed first.
If you have no free song credits, gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used next.
If your gift certificate, prepaid card, and/or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance.
If you have no free song credits or gift certificates, prepaid cards, or allowance credits, your credit card is billed for the songs you buy.

The music you just downloaded tonight to your new computer is safe. The music you purchased on your phone is safe.  You shouldn't feel gutted.  It's your other music that you should have taken better care of.  That would include any music you ripped yourself or purchased outside of iTunes.  That you can't get back.
It has always been the user's responsibility to back up and protect downloaded music.  If you didn't have a backup of your computer before it started acting funny, that's your fault.  It would be no different than if you lost a music CD.  It would not be a record store's responsibility to replace if you lost it.  Digital music is no different.  Similarly, a phone is not a backup medium.  Phone's break, get misplaced or stolen all the time and are not a substitute for a backup copy of your music and media.
Computers WILL break.  Hard drives WILL fail.  That's why you back up your data.

Did you log into your iTunes account on the iPhone? On your phone, start the App store, tap the "Featured" icon and scroll down. Do you see Redeem and then, under that, your Apple ID?
