Song in ipod file but no where else

so i got my ipod to work on my new computer and the ipod file with all the songs in it is there, but now theres no file to put the songs in. (im not good at explaineing things but ill try to make this as clear as posible) you know how when your in itunes theres a bunch of files on the left side of the screen (like 90's music, top rated ect...) well i have all my songs in the ipod folder but not anywhere else. is there any way to copy them out of the ipod folder and put them into one of those other floders on the side (like the top rated file?) i hope you were able to understand that... thanks for any help

I tried it myself, I plugged in my iPod and looked at the folder, tried to drag songs out of there into other folders...except I don't have those folders LOL. Ok, I see the songs look grayed out, can't click, can't drag. Hmmm...is it really important that you place these songs into other folders? I mean, if your songs play fine then why need folders?? Try this, where you see the iPod folder right click on it and go down to "iPod Options". A window will open with tabs on top, click "Advanced". Where it says "Copy files to iTunes music folder when added to the library", is there a check on that box?

The same place it was before, under the iPod device name.
Plug in your ipod, open iTunes if you have to. When the iPod is mounted you will see the device name with a small arrow next to it. Click the arrow, it will point down and you will see a list of everything on the iPod.

Font shows in Pages, but no where else

When in Pages with a new blank document open, I can look at the Font List (or click on the Fonts button which opens the font box) and see a font called "Jolt." If I use that font, there are a few unusual characters in the document and because of this I don't think it is useable. I'd like to get rid of it from the Pages list.
This font is not available in any other program, such as Mail, Numbers, or even Font Book.
Where is this font located? How can I get rid of it from the Pages Font (drop down) list and Fonts box?
I have a program called TinkerTool System, and I used it to clear the font cache, but it is still there.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Automatic font activation was checked and Ask me before activating was unchecked.
I unchecked Automatic font activation and will try that.
In the meantime, I did a search and found two documents (originally from my laptop -Vista) that had that font in them. So I deleted the one I didn't want, then turned off the drive, then when I opened the file in Pages, it asked me to replace the missing font so I did. Then I saved the document. Then I rebooted and turned the drive back on. Pages no longer showed the font.
Hopefully, unchecking Automatic font activation will prohibit this behavior in the future. Because, I'm new to MAC...migrated over from PC, so I have lots of Word documents to deal with!

I used to be able to convert songs to mp3 files, but dont see how to do it now

There used to be a place at the top of one's iTune Library where you could convert files to mp3's. I have changed computers and in the new iTunes download, I don't see it. Is there not a way to do that now? Not giving additional information about my Apple products because they are irrelevant to this question. I am using a Windows 8 system

I guess you can search the internet for audio converter to convert songs to mp3. There are many audio conversion software in the market. You can search the keywords on Google for it easily. Most are able to do audio conversion between various audio file formats as well as to extract audio tracks from videos. Just for your reference. If your iTunes works, I guess it can meet your needs.

Songs on Ipod ok, but have no longer got the computer I used to use

A girl a work has a 30g photo Ipod. She has about 3000 songs on it, and previously used her fathers computer to update it.
Since the last time she updated it, the computer was stolen so she doesnt know what to do. She is wanting to update her Ipod but is scared as she doesnt want to lose the songs she already has put on.
I have looked at a few threads on here, but to be honest am rather confused, as I will be explaining to her what to try.
Can anyone help?

the ipod is likely to be on automatically syncing currently. plug the ipod into a different computer and it will warn you that if you choose to sync with the new computer, the songs will be erased. when this warning pops up, select no. after the ipod appears in itunes and has not updated, go to the ipod options and you can select manually organize songs.

Songs on ipod touch but not computer

I had a problem with my computer (it is fixed now) but some of the music on my ipod touch will not sync with the computer. The songs are on the ipod but not on my computer. How can I get these back on my computer??

Sync is only oneway, from PC to your device. Unless you have the music on your PC, iTunes is going to wipe out what you have on your device if you are syncing to a new library.
You can only transfer Purchased music over to Itunes on your PC.

Burned CD's Only Play on iTunes, but No Where Else

When burning cd's in iTunes on CD-R blank cd's, the disc will burn perfectly, but when I go to play the burned CD somewhere other than iTunes the songs will not play and the CD player will read it as a blank disc. How can I fix this???!!!???

Help! I have the same problem too! i just burned a cd, put it in the hi-fi and it says "no disc" and "disc error". am using cd-rw. someone please help!

Audio book downloaded to iPod Nano but no where does it show up on iTunes on

Have been doing this for 3 years with no problem now when I download an audio book to my iPod Nano it does show up and plays on it, but when I go to iTunes on my desktop its just not there.. not under any category. I want to delete the book & can't find it. Thank you.

Please Help! Audio off on imported .mp4 files (but fine everywhere else).

I am trying to trouble shoot a problem. I am a beginner when it comes to the technical end of this so please forgive me if I don’t post the correct information. Hopefully somebody here can help or point me in the right direction.
My problem is this: I’m using Skype on my (windows 7 ultimate) pc to make group video calls. I use Skype along with the program Evaer in order to record the video and audio of each person on the call separately. It records it using the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Codec. At 1280 X 720 and 30fps. The video files have the audio in them as well. However it also records a separate .mp3 with everyones audio at 265 BitRate and 48000 SampleRate. So after the group call (with 3 people) is finished I will have three .mp4 video files w/ audio (1 for each person on the call) and 1 .mp3 file. If I open any of the video files in Windows Media Play they play just fine. But when I bring the file into Adobe Premiere CS6 for editing, the audio is completely off. What can I do to fix this?
I did “interperate footage” for the file and this is what it shows:

I want to edit this in HD. So the project setting I choose is “HDV 720p30fps”. I import my file, and then drag it into to the time line. It says that the sequence settings are wrong, and so I tell it to change them automatically (I have also to it to leave them) either way it doesn’t matter. When I play back the video .mp4 in Premiere CS6 the audio is completely off.
So is there some setting I need to tweak? Is it the project settings that are wrong? Or could it be a problem with my graphics, and sound card? I just dont understand why it plays fine in WMP but not in Adobe. Any help or advice would be truly appreciated. If you need any more info, just let me know.

Small window appears in Mission Control but no where else...

I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not, but I couldn't figure out what was going on so I figured it was worth posting. For some reason, I just noticed that when I enter mission control it looks like there's a small white window open in Desktop 1, but there are no applications running or anything and nothing is visible when Desktop 1 is active.
I've attached a screenshot. If anyone knows why this is happening or if I should be concerned, please chime in. Thanks

Ipod crashed but i NEED to get my voicememo's!!

Hey guys, big fat eternal gratutide to whoever may help me with this one: i use xtrememac micromemo to record interviews on my ipod (first 5thG). now it looks like my last interview took too long, because my ipod crashed and will not do a thing until i restore it. Thing is: my (very important :s) interview is ofcourse on the ipod disk, and no where else!! And repairing it via itunes means i loose everything, right? The ipod doesn't show up in Finder, obviously. It does show in system profile but that's no help. I tried reboot and everything, but it keeps saying that some node or other has an unvalid size. I don't care about the music or the ipod for that matter, i just really need to scrape the interview off the disc somehow. I tried panicking, but that didn't work either, so i was hoping someone here would have some useful tips for a desperate girl...?

To migrate your data to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you wish to keep on your phone to your camera roll (unless they are already there). To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Next, if you are syncing notes with iCloud you will need to open them one at a time and email them to yourself so that you can later use the emails to copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. (This only deletes the account from your phone, not from iCloud. Other's still using the account will not be effected by this.) Then sign back in with a new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge when prompted to upload your data to the new account. When you turn Mail to On you will be prompted to choose your new @icloud.com email address (if you wish to use iCloud email).
Once your device has successfully migrated to a separate account, you can go to icloud.com from your computer, sign into your new account and delete your other family member's data from your account.

After apply SAP_HR SP 35-48 we have customization in 000 no where else

How do most people handle this customization - Do they run comparisons with scu0 and make the changes then. Do people somehow through the spau or transport system automatically apply all configuration changes to their environment during the installation? This is our first year end on SAP and we are having a difficult time wrapping our heads around this. I would appreciate any input anyone might have.
This all came about when during testing our HR configurator was verifying a view change in V_T509F from snote 1304095 that was suppose to have gone in with SAPKE60041. We did find the change in client 000 but no where else. So being the newbies that we are we started doing research to find out what else might be out there in client 000 that needs to be looked at and copied up if needed. We plan to use the scu0 comparison tool but it seems like this method will be very time intensive. So we are interested in learning how others are handling this issue. thanks in advance!!!!

When SAP notes or support packs are applied, by default they are made in client 000. Client independent changes are automatically available in all client,s however, client dependent changes need to be specifically copied over.
In my experience, the whole thing has always been taken care of by Basis people and I believe they follow the following approach.
Import Support Packs into Client 000. Save in Transport request, SCC1 into all applicable clients, Carry Out SPAU/SPDD analysis and fix all identified issues. Then it is released for testing etc.
As a functional consultant, By and large I should be aware of critical changes impacting my implementation before hand, by analysing all the notes contained in the Support Packs of interest, and I will be on the look out for such stuff which has not been copied over from 000. Ideally they will be reveealed in my earliest tests and I will chase up basis for them. Before the plan for HRSP is finalised, there will be an impact analysys duration during which the Basis consultant and the Functional consultant analyse all the target HRSps and arrive at a pretty good idea of what is likely to be impacted.
Copying all the configu changes over is definitely time intensive, you could try a targetted approach by identifying only those chnage that are relevant for you and copying them over from client 000. The time invested in this exercise, is unfortunately unavoidable.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.
