Song info now showing up in BMW

I just bought a 2007 BMW 328i with the factory USB iPod connector. When I hook up my 5th generation iPod, the car reads the iPod fine, but on the car console all the songs are displayed as random text and are all under various folders named "f01", "f02", etc. This is the same file structure and naming as if I'm looking through the folders on my PC in the file explorer. All the songs show up fine when looking through my iPod or iTunes.
Anybody else aware of this problem?
I've hard reset my iPod twice and still the same issues. Also, not sure if this is a factor, but I'm also using SharePod to transfer songs from my iPod to my PC at work.

Ah, I just picked up the Y connector. yoshiegg737, you are 100% correct about the compatibility. It works perfectly! I don't have to worry about adjusting the volume on my iPod so the sound doesn't sound awful through the stereo. I can control EVERYTHING from my iDrive.
About $50 bucks from the dealer and on the card that came with the adapter, it reads, "Only suitable for iPods with DockConnector after launch, Januar[y] 2004" which is exactly what I (and I think the rest of us on this thread) have.

Song info now appears between every song

Every time a song changes, a window opens up on my screen giving me the title, artist, etc... and then fades away after about three seconds. This just started today for no reason I can figure out.
Can anyone tell me how to stop this from happening?

iTunes doesn't do this, so you must have some other software, such as Growl, Synergy, or some other iTunes-related application, installed. Locate and remove it or change it's settings so that the info isn't displayed.

Songs don't show up in artist menu, but show up in playlists

Well recently I've had a problem where songs I've added (from a program that takes songs off internet radio) do not show up when I go to the Artists menu and click on an artist. However, they do show up in my Recently Added playlist. Can anyone give me some help on this? Thanks if you can.

Once you add a second album name for that artist even for a single song, ALL the rest of the songs should now show up under that artist, even those without album names.

I have tried everything I have read on the Internet about sync issues and restore etc and not there isn't a single song on my iPad or iPod touch. All of the songs are listed in my iTunes but are all greyed out, some have the cloud symbol next to them but lots don't and some say waiting.

My phone is not syncing properly, I wanted to add another playlist to it that I created on my Mac. I pluged in my phone and made sure the playlist I wanted to add was checked to be on my phone when I synced.
The playlist I wanted to add was "Country." It is clearly checked. I also wanted to add the "Recently Added" playlist, which I also checked before sycing. Currently, my phone only has the "Purchased" playlist and my "All Songs" playlist on it. When I hit sync, iTunes added another playlist automatically added another playlist to the list above and checked it. It was titled "ALL SONGS 1" and had ten fewer songs in it than the playlist I had created, "ALL SONGS" had. This playlist, however does not show up on my phone after syncing, nor does "Country" or "Recently Added." (Every time I sync, another playlist is created as "ALL SONGS 2, 3, 4, etc.") One of the songs (I have not, yet checked the other songs) that I purchased from within iTunes Radio shows up in the "ALL SONGS 1" on this screen:
But does not show up anywhere else. This playlist does not show up anywhere but the two screens above. The ALL SONGS 1 or 2 playlists do not show up here:
When I search for those song in my library, it shows that I do not have them:
But if I go to the iTunes store, I get the play button and not the price of the song:

"Summertime Sadness," one of the songs I bought from iTunes Radio, does not show up in the iTunes store under purchased "All" or "Not on This iPhone"
But, it does show up under "Recent Purchases"
Also, this is what playlists are on my phone after syncing a million times:
Only what was on there before I started any of this. "Summertime Sadness" and the other songs I bought from inside iTunes Radio, do not show up in either of these playlists. Please, help me.

I've sync'd my phone, I've turned it to "show all music" in Settings, I've drag and dropped the songs/albums onto my phone again. I feel like I've tried everything I've seen recommended, but nothing works.

Once you successfully add you iTunes library to iTunes Match, you go to Settings>iTunes & App Store on your iOS device and turn on iTunes Match. Your iTunes Match library will then appear on your iOS device.

The Finder reports File information. The date and time of the photo are in the Photo's Exif metadata. The Finder has no awareness of this. All photos apps on any system do.

I have a couple of troubleshooting suggestions for you regarding this issue. First, I would suggest that you reinstall iTunes, according to the instructions in this article:

To reinstall iTunes, download it from the Apple Downloads website.

Note that all you will need to do is download iTunes and install it again, it will install over the version that is on your computer right now without issue. If your issue persists, you may want to see this article about troubleshooting third-party plugins for iTunes:

It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

Apple TV - I tunes Match - Music - Now Shows Top Songs From I Tunes Store

I use I tunes Match through my apple tv. Following recent apple tv update. Apple TV now links to itunes via store. When accessing Music through Apple TV it used to show the last 10 or so albums that i had played. It now has 2 headings at the top My Music (which now only shows the last 2 albums played) and a new heading Top Songs, which seems to show a load of junk music which it is enticing me to purchase from the itunes Store. Which now shows inappropriate album artwork of scantly clad ladies which i dont really want my children to see.
Why would apple think this is a good thing ? And is there an option somewhere/ somehow to diasble this terrible new feature and just show music that i have recently played.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
I'm not really familiar with Pandora but I assume it's an audio app and the app places text on screen to inform you of the current track playing.
As an audio app, it seems to make sense it will stream audio over AirPlay, which doesn't include text of course. For that matter the text is also unlikely to be a video stream either, just to cover the possibility you ask why can't they stream it over AirPlay as video.
