Warp 7.7 by The Bloody Beetroots is only loading to 40 seconds then stopping. Is this an issue for anyone else? If not can someone help me fix it? I have tried taking the music quality off of high and restarting Spotify but that did nothing for the song. Any help would be appreciated. spotify:artist:0QJKELJZZuLAjqLOOixJm5

What version of Spotify are you using? They're rolling out the 1.0.10 update atm. The first step you should take is making sure you're using the latest desktop app.
Please do a clean reinstallation, making sure to download the latest release.

1st Gen Ipod Nano - Shuffle Songs Issue

Everyday I take my 1st gen ipod nano with me for a walk and just select shuffle songs. My walk takes about an hour, but my nano in shuffle mode seems to play alot of the same songs over and over everyday in shuffle mode. I have almost 800 songs on the nano. Is there someway of getting my nano to shuffle up the songs a little better so that I'm not hearing the same songs over and over?

I am having the exact same issue with my iPod, 5th generation. I would like to know if there is a way to change the setup so it will shuffle it better.

Slideshow Song Issue

Quick question. I am making a slideshow and the audio is having problems. I have 4 songs that play throughout the entire slideshow one after the other. None of them are DRM so that's not the issue, but when I export it, the first song does not export at all. The first 1.5 minutes of the video are silent with nothing playing where the music should be. After that song, the rest play normally. The entire slideshow plays as normal in the preview mode of Aperture.
I have tested the video in two different video playing programs.
Any help would be appreciated. Is this a known issue?

I had the same issue. I used one song for the entire slide show. It is my understanding that you can put your music track in either way. When I put the music track in as a bar on the bottom it would not export the audio. When I put it in as a solid green background it worked fine. So, when do you put the audio track in as a green bar at the bottom? Are there certain circumstances that you use this method? I haven't played around with putting two or more tracks of music on a slide show yet, but it appears the originator of this thread did that without success. Any answers to this dilemma?
Amended: After experimenting with it some more, it appears that you should put the first track down so that the entire background is green and the subsequent tracks in as green bars on the bottom. Is this right? Is this how it is supposed to work? That is not clear in the manual.

Can't locate song issue

I Recently had a problem with my iTunes, the problem being that it wouldn't open when i clicked on the shortcut or tried opening it from start menu. I went: control panel > programs > selected iTunes > repair. To see if that would fix it, it didn't so I then just uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it, now for nearly every song in my library; whether its from iTunes store or c.d's. I'm getting the 'could not be used as the orginal file could not be found' message. I've seen a few other people on these froums with this issue and I've tried the suggested method of fixing the problem (go to music > artists > albums > file) but that doesn't work on mine, there are none fo the songs that are having the issue in that folder. Anyone have any other ideas?

Yet another tagged songs issue

Ok all, I have another question about tagged songs. I figured out how to buy a tagged song. On a windows machine, you have to hit the applications key and then there is a buy option. I bought two songs this way, but when I connected my IPod the other day to purchase a song I had tagged since I bought the last song, the buy option is no longer available. How do I buy the songs now?

Purchased songs issue on multiple devices

I purchased some songs on Macbook Pro and songs download fine and I can play them without issues. My issues is the songs appear on my Imac (which my main itunes library resides) but are shaded so I cannot play or download them. I am runing Itunes Match and was under the understanding the songs purchased can be downloaded on any of devices I own. I have contacted itunes support but they could not resolved it.
I have had no issues with previously purchased songs and this just started recently.

As long as you are running iTunes Match, you can delete the tracks and make sure to keep them on iTunes Match. After it is gone you can download them again to get them to play again.

ITunes deleting and resyncing 200 songs issue

Every time I sync my iPod Touch, iTunes removes approximately 220 of my songs and then "re-syncs" them onto the iPod. This happens without altering my iTunes library at all. And if I look at the sync bar in iTunes it is always the exact same 200+ songs. It makes syncing take much longer than it needs to. Any suggestions?

When you say that it is taking longer, do you mean that its taking like 5, 10 minutes longer to sync, or like a minute longer. Itunes and the ipod will update song info on the ipod like play count info, or any changed playlists. It will not actually change the songs, but you will see it updating the info for the individual songs and playlists on the ipod. If it is actually changing 200+ songs its going to add a significant amount of time, like 5 ten minutes every sync. Which is it?

Importing song issues

So I use the program "Ares" and all the music that gets downloaded from there goes to a specific folder. Now, I know exactly how to import those songs and erase the duplicates when that happens, but there has to be an easier way to do what I want to do. So my question:
Is there any way that I can re-add a folder to a library, and instead of it bringing in EVERY song from that folder, just brings the ones in that aren't already in itunes?
Example: One week i download song1.filename.mp3 and song2.filename.mp3, and the next week I download song3.filename.mp3, all going to the same folder. How can I get itunes to import ONLY song3.filename.mp3, and not import the other two?
It is getting really annoying that after 2 weeks and 100 new song downloads, when I import the folder again, it tries to import all 3000 songs instead of just the 100. I know I can do "add file to library", but that gets very frustrating picking out 100 songs from the 3000+ already in there. And I know it's possible, because when my roomate imports all his songs his does exactly what I want. I made sure we have the exact same settings, but still no luck. Anyone?

Thats because your double clicking or playing it in this Are's program. You'll have to either go in the settings of this program and have it play files with the systems default player or manually goto the folder this program downloads songs to and open them with iTunes

80 gb Classic Ipod, skipping song issue

Ok I've had my Ipod for about 4 years or so. I only have 2000 songs on it. recently i have been going through playlists and playing songs. my problem is: songs that have played before, like 2-4 weeks ago, are being skipped over. in the playlist i was in i had 90 songs, started playing got through 12 songs but it skipped like 3 or 4 of those. so really i only listened to 8 songs. how do i fix this problem??? money is tight here, and i cant get all willy nilly and go off and buy a new ipod, i gotta save for it.
please help, or give suggestions to my problem. i really want to keep my ipod.

Most likely your iPod hardisk or battery is dying.
Best to use iTunes to Restore your iPod, which will delete your iPod data and music and Reallocate the bad clusters.
Then sync your iTunes library to your iPod.

I'm Having Song Issues

I have a quite a few songs that I have loaded to my ipod and it seems that a whole bunch of them will not play completely. They will play up to about a minute before the song ends and then it will skip to the next song. Is anyone else having this problem?

Same Here i have a 60 gb (5k + songs) and my sis has 30 gig (3k+ songs) and both are skipping, mine won't even play the song, it displays the artwork and then just skips to the next song. I have to hit the pause button and a few seconds later it will finally pause. Pressing play after that will make work. My sisters is haveing the problem where it doesn't finish the song, her's also doesn't show most album artwork (i have the same songs on my ipod and they show).
I'm using itunes 6 and 99% of my songs are AAC encoded(128kbps) and the rest are MP3 (>190kbps)

IPod deleting songs issue!!!!!! HELP!

So I've deleted a song from my iTunes, but then when I got my iPod and synched it with my mac, the song came up again, and because I deleted it off iTunes first, I can't delete it from my iPod. So practically, it won't come up on iTunes because I deleted it off of iTunes first, and now I can't delete it off my iPod.
Is there a way to fix this?

What iOS version do you have on the iPod? Swiping only works with iOS 5 and later.
If not iOS 5 or late you have to unsync the songs.

Music Video and song Issue

Hey I was wondering If there is an Option That I am missing or a bug but for my iPhone i have one playlist that has some songs and music videos combined in it. On my iPhone when i click on songs all of the music videos and songs come up but when play a music video i don't get the video and i just get the Sound. but in the video section i just get the Music Videos. is there a way to get rid of the music videos in the songs section.

You would need to remove the music videos from the playlist in itunes and re-sync the iphone.
If that does not help, there is a checkbox, called include music videos, on the music tab in itunes, when the iphone is connected, that you can uncheck.

HELP with purchased song issue

I recently purchased a song off itunes on my iphone that came out not long ago. I tried purchasing it off my computer but itunes just brought me to the page "content not available" or something like that. So I went to my phone and purchased it off there. The purchase was successful, however I don't see the song I bought under my purchased section when I checked my account. And when I go to the song's page, it doesn't say "Purchased", instead it just states the price tag. Does that mean I have to re-purchase the song? Because I am not interested in paying another buck for it.
Basically I want to find out why doesn't the song I purchased show up on the Purchased page on my iTunes account.

ITunes re-purchasing the same song issue.

If you purchase a song from iTunes and then you lose the song due to an iPhone restore, but they never saved to your computer. Do you need to buy them again, because I keep getting the error - "You haver purchased this song before. Would you like to purchase it again by ordering this pre-order?" does this mean that it is going to charge me AGAIN. because thats not fair...

Currently only in the US can you re-download music for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 - anywhere else and you need to re-purchase. Even if you are in the US then you should be backing up your purchases because there is no guarantee that content will remain available in the store, and therefore it may no longer be there for re-downloading.
If you havn't made backups then you can try contacting Apple and see if they will allow a re-download : http://www.apple.com/uk/support/itunes/contact/ - but they are under no obligation to do so

ITunes song issues.

When I play some of the songs I have downloaded off of iTunes, I will get about 20 seconds into the song then it just skips to the next one. This is on most of my songs, sometimes 3-4 times during a song. Only way I know of to get around it is to skip past the 5 seconds where it does it which is a pain. Any solutions? Also this never happened before I upgraded iTunes to v7.

Since some of your songs play correctly here are some suggestions.
Make sure your iTunes and Quicktime are up to date.
Then deauthorize, and reauthorize your computer for your iTunes Store account.
