Song list problem after ios7

After updating to IOS7, all of my songs were synced too. However, every new song Iv'e added since is appearing in a new list by letters. For example if I had all songs organized alphabetical order, the few new songs iv'e added after updating are organized in a new order, and after them there's the old songs list. Iv'e tried to unsync all songs from library, then sync them again and still same problem. Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks in advance

Problems after iOS7.03 upgrade

I have been a loyal iphone fan for many years now. After iOS7 upgrade I am thinking of getting rid of my iPhone. I am so disappointed. I am on way way back to Verizon store and wait in line again with all the other iPhone users. After the upgrade to iOS7.0.3 I cannot make calls. I have even done a hard reset. I am a physician and I am on-call this weekend.
Apple call me so I can vent on your poor operating system.

Bluetooth Problems after IOS7 Update (on screen album art gone)

Before updateing my Iphone with IOS7 my bluetooth connection in my 2013 Toyota Tacoma was flawless. Now after the update i am having problems and would like to see if someone has any suggestions for me to clear this up.
Before the update i would get my album art or general art from where i was or what i was listening to on my head unit in my truck. ie: if i was listening to a song... the album it was on would appear on my screen... or if i was listneing to sirius via my phone and bluetooth... i would get the sirius logo or channel logo on the screen just to the left of the song or channel details.
now after the update all i am getting in the small box is the blue tooth logo... that is it... what happened?
i have tried the unpairing and the repairing... but nothing workes... can anyone help me?

I finally had to restore iOS 8 on my iPhone, and then I restored from my backup. Everything is fixed now. All music synced without issue, and iTunes even seemed more stable while syncing. I guess iOS 8 didn't install correctly the first time.
My iPhone seems to be running better now too.
I'd recommend reinstalling iOS 8, if you're having trouble. It fixed all of my problems, hopefully it can fix yours too.

Any fix for random art and song order problems after adding new music?

If I sync my touch with itunes as a restore, all cover art, albums and playlists are correct. Once I add anything new or make a change and re-sync, random cover art is missing and random songs are in the wrong order. The only way to fix the problems is through a complete restore. Has anyone else had this problem or figured out a fix? I am using the latest itunes on a PC with XP.

A few issues, but sorry let me try to understand.
Adding new music, 'XXXX's iPod cannot be written or read'' can you let me know the number. most likely music format is not iPod Compatible like HE-AAC.
started skipping songs - these are normally due to corrupted ID3 tags, try converting them -File-> Advance -> IPOD version or use MP3 validator to fix all songs in the library. (My Apologies, only work for MP3 music that skipped)
As for item 2, you can try Hard Reset if you like to download MP3 validator.
After charging till full charge, at least 2 hours (preferably 4 hours)
Toggle the Hold switch, make sure you dont see the red mark when you do the next step
Reset the iPod -> Press Menu and Center button simultaneously for about 10 secs till the Apple Logo comes ON
Then release the buttons
Select your preferred language.

Contact list problems after update to OS 10.2.1.537

Hi all,
I have run into issues with my address book since I updated my BB Z10 to the new OS 10.2.1.537.
My contacts are all synced with my Gmail contacts, and the syncing still works fine. However, they are displayed in the adress book on my Blackberry in a weird and random way. Some contacts are displayed perfectly fine as e.g. "Ms Jane Doe". In others, however, the institution at which the people work is displayed as part of the name, e.g. "Ms Doe Some Institute". In one case the display name of the contact was even changed to a date-time-coding (the time I last contacted that person?).
I checked the entries via "Edit" and they seem to be OK, first and middle names, surname, title, institutions and alike are all stored in their respective fields. They are only displayed wrongly in the contact list. Moreover, some contacts are displayed wrongly and some are not, and I did not find any one particular thing that any of the two groups has in common and that could trigger the error: In both groups I find entries with many (e.g. websites, Skype names, several phone numbers) or few (only one number or e-mail adress) entry-fields, as well as entries which have links to LinkedIn accounts etc., and so forth. So this problem occurs randomly?
I also figured out that "editing" a contact by just going to "Edit" and then saving without making any actual changes fixes the display issue. However, I would not want to manually go through that procedure for 200+ contacts. Also, since the problem seemingly occurs randomly, I have no idea whether it will happen again with new contacts in the future or even re-occur in already fixed contacts when I edit them in Gmail, upon the normal regular syncing, or after restarting the phone.
Does somebody else have these problems as well? And does somebody have an idea what might be the problem and even better how to fix it?

Missing cover art swipe-back to song list-command after update

Before when listening to music, you could swipe your finger to the right and the Touch would go back to the listing of songs. It seems after the last update this does not work anymore. Any tips? It makes it more difficult to use one-handed.

i'm not sure what you mean. when i listen to music, swiping my finger does nothing (other than when in cover flow, when it just changes to the next album.)
tapping the screen in cover flow brings up a list of tracks in that album.
tapping the list icon in the top right of the screen when NOT in cover flow will do the same.

Problem after iOS7 update

Since I updated my iphone to iOS7, my iphone does this thing a lot of times were the music player, when i am in the lock screen, does not want to work, it does not do anything, can't skip a song, can't pause it, and i have to restart the phone every time it does that. Even if I unlock the phone and try to use the new tab that apple added at the bottom of the phone where you have a music player and can enable wifi and all that, the music player still won't do anything. I do not know if is my phone or is the iOS7, I hope I am not the only one. Or if I am, then I would have to change my iphone, I am still under the warranty. This problem is becoming more annoying because it is doing it more oftern.

IPad problems after iOS7 upgrade

Previous to the iOS7 upgrade my iPad mini worked flawlessly. After repeated prompts to upgrade I did to my regret. Since upgrading I've been having a few recurring problems.
1- Safari crashes intermittently when scrolling down.
2- Home key has become intermittently unresponsive.
3- it's become a battery suck.
To top it all off, my mini is still under warranty for another month or so, however I'm now living for the next six months in a remote town in the mountains without access to an Apple store. When I return in May my warranty will have expired. Any solutions?

Two things that might help. Reset all your settings and reset the phone. Use the Settings app to reset all settings. Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that helps.
The update to iOS 7 added several new features and turned them all on. There are numerous suggestions for reducing battery life by turning off unneeded features. Go through Settings and turn off things you do not need or use. Especially look at Notifications, Push notices, Background App Refresh.

Sounds like you might be having an unusual problem with lock screen blurring.
But, in general, from what I can tell, Apple designed the lock screen to blur, when it wants to display anything other than the TIME there.
I am always listening to audio on my iphone, so it took a while to realize that, when I PAUSED audio playback, the lock screen clears right up.
Rebooting phone WILL "fix" the effect. But, as soon as you do ANYTHING that requires the iOS to display anything there (like the audio playback buttons, texts, notifications, etc.), the screen will blur again.
You should do some tests to determine whether or not the screen is actually STUCK on blur; or if it is only because you are displaying some information there. If actually STUCK on blur, then you have a problem. But it is likely that you simply start using the iphone for something, after resetting, that causes iphone to display info on the lockscreen, prompting it to blur the background.

IPad3 Wifi problems after iOS7 update

I have updated my iPad 3, 32 GB WiFi only model to iOS7 and since the update everything works except for the WiFi. It shows itself connected to my network all the time but no app can access the internet. It is really frustrating considering a device that worked so well has now basically become unusable. It reminds of the time when iOS6 came out and the WiFi pretty much stopped working as well. Has anyone found a way out?

However, still the problem could not be solved, as I tried to extend my existing network (I already bought anouter router to temporary replace the TC) and it won't do it (though I could set up a new network with the TC, which again my iphone could not access, or I could make the TC to join into the existing network as a network HD which is unaccessable from the desktop). No Apple router can extend wireless from a different brand router.
Sorry I think I leaped to conclusions and didn't see your initial request properly.. Apple are unique.. they do not work together with other wireless.
That is why you need to have an ethernet connection from the main router to the TC and run the TC in bridge.. you can then setup roaming network if you wish or a totally different wireless network.
Apple instructions for roaming apply to mix with other brands.

Hi! I downloaded ios7 on to my iphone4s since the download i can connect to the app store but wont let me download. If i go back in there it tells me the App store isnt available. HT1937 Problems after ios7.1 update

1. imessage did not activate, so is facetime;
2. wifi hotspot not working (my carrier is bsnl,India); My carrier says that they have pre-activated hotspot, as I was using it before this update. I even use it still on
my android phone.
3. Battery drain is faster ;
4. Internet over wifi, 2G & 3G is very slow now; I use same carrier on my android phone as well, the 2G internet is very good on that as compared to iphone.
5. I also observed that wifi & bluetooth activation from control centre is very slow now. It takes time to reflect the change on status bar;
6. Audio problem over bluetooth (inbetween disturbance in audio).
7. Air drop feature has been removed.
Request to Apple: Please fix these issues ASAP and in future, don't release an update (e.g upcoming update version ios 7.1.1) till you are sure that the soon to be released update is working fine and doesn't complicate the issues.
Last but not the least, Act fast its already a month that thousands of Apple fans are reproting these issues.

I figured out the problem with imessages in iOS 7.1.1. You have to click out of imessages in settings and then turn it back on and then sign back in with your apple ID right below the imessage button. That did the trick for me.

Your symptoms don't sound like the typical 'slowdown' issues. It shouldn't freeze that much, and battery should not drain abnormally.
I would try the following:
- Back up your phone if you don't already have a backup.
- Erase All Content and Settings. Note that this will erase everything; you should still have a backup if you did the above.
- Test the phone by itself, with nothing synched back in. It should run fairly smoothly, and should not have battery drain.
- if there are issues, try to restore it using iTunes, using the latest 7.0.x version. Don't sync your backup in, just a fresh software version.
- Repeat the testing of the phone by itself. If it's still not right, you might have to bring it in.
If it is working OK, then sync your backup back in.

I'm having trouble redeeming a free song list. After putting in the code and I'm prompted for my password to start the download. Then nothing happens and I am redirected back to the home screen. Any ideas?

Reapply the style to the second caption - it most likely has an override on it restarting the numbering at 1.
