Song skipping. PLEASE HELP
someone please help me. this problem is i my iTunes library in my macbook (i have leopard and the latest itunes). well as far as i know, this only happens to one song. but at about 1:07 into it, it just bleeps and skips over. and if i skip this part by scrubbing, its just silence. pleasehelp i dont know what to do.

Plays ok when using the source CD.
Recorded to iTunes at the highest sample rate.
Skips (drops out) in iTunes.
Play cd. Sounds fine.
Re-record. Skips.
ugh.

I am having trouble burning a gapless album that is a mixed compilation. I have selected part of compilation album on the options tab and I did select gap between songs as zero. When I play the cd back after burning, it is sticking between songs? Please help!

Selecting Gapless album does not make it gapless. (which is likely that now this option is removed - to not confuse people)
The ONLY thing that option did was tell iTunes to NOT crossfade consecutive songs from same gapless album IF you had crossfade enabled.

Setting the gap to 0 is what made it "seem" gapless.
Perhaps it is not working as it used to.
Try a slower burn speed.
and used itunes to convert them to mp3
Dont know why they suggest this.
Simply use the WAV file. Then there will be no loss (as there is when converted to MP3). -
I've tried Turning off "Show All Music" and then swiping left on the song to delete it, but it wont give me the option to delete the songs. Please help. (this is iOS.7 btw) It only does this for some of the songs, but the rest of them I can delete. This is really annoying, please help me ASAP. Thank yall for your time

I have updated to iTunes 10 and now my unchecked songs are playing... I don't want this and can't figure out how to have it like it was before (not playing unchecked songs). Please help! I leave the unchecked songs in there b/c there will come a point in time where I want to listen to these songs but right now I don't.
yes, 10.3.1, iTunes already restarted, menu settings already like that and still it will play all unchecked songs (including the checked songs of course). Why even have check and unchecked if the program is going to play all of them anyway?!

I Tunes erased all of my songs. Please help me!!!
I have been using Itunes for a year and I did nothing different. THis time I tried to add some more songs and somehow all of my songs were deleted. 1600! Weird thing is that my ipod said that there is only 1.3 MB left of space. It says that there is 8 songs and the rest is the orange 'other.' What does that mean??? Why would it say that I have 'other' if it deleted all of my songs.. I had no videos, podcasts... only songs!

Ipod doesn't play the songs! please help!!
when i try to play a song, the title of the song just like sits there but it doesn't play, like the numbers don't go forward, it just sits at 0:00. It isnt frozen because i can change the volume and do everything else. When i click the middle button to toggle from volume to how far into the song i am, if i scroll over a bit to make me further in the song, it just changes to the next one.
Just now i tried going to the next song or something and whats happening now is every song i have is like popping up on the screen, like its scrolling through all my songs one by one till it got to the end and now its at the main menu.

My Ipod Nano 7th gen does this as well. It will pause randomly, then i will hit play again, will play for a minute, then pause again. Seems like it does it the most when hooked up with a cars AUX input.

My laptop crashed with mine and my husbands I tunes Library. I have sync my i phone with my work mac but I am still missing some of my songs.
My husband was unable to do this as his i phone broke too and he has no music at all.
Please help.Apple devices are designed to sync with a single library. If you move the device to a new library iTunes will suggest wiping the device and reloading it with the contents of the library on the new computer, even if most of the content is identical. For an iOS device this process would also delete and reinstall any applications which would discard and settings or saved data associated with the apps. You probably don't want to do this.
Ideally you would have migrate the working library from the computer previously used to manage the device (the laptop) to the computer you now want to use (the desktop) before adding other new content into the new computer's library. That way the device would have easily moved from syncing with one machine to the other.
I'm not quite sure what the best next step is at this point. Does the desktop library sync with any other devices?

I recently had a data transfer from my older mac to my newer one. After the transfer I logged into my new account and opened up my GarageBand. It worked perfectly fine, however when I logged into my old account with all my older data that I just transferred over, I could not open my GarageBand files and there is an error that states "GarageBand error after data transfer that states "This song requires a newer version of GarageBand. Please update to the latest version of GarageBand before opening this song".If anyone could please help me with this issue, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank You!
When you transferred your data from your old mac, you may have accidentally transferred an older GarageBand version and either overwritten your newer version, or your old account still has the old GarageBand icon in the Dock.
Search with SpotLight, if you have more than one Garageband version on your new Mac (type "GarageBand" into the SpotLight search field). Does it list more than one GarageBand version? Then delete the older GarageBand.app.
What GarageBand version have you been using at your old mac, and what is the version on your new mac? If it has been bought recently, it should have come with GarageBand '11.

*Fletch*Sounds as if you synced your iPod to an empty iTunes library.
If you have no back up anyplace else, then your only hope is some data recovery software as mentioned in this post.

Frequent error message (8248) when downloading songs. Please help!
I am hoping to resolve an issue I keep encountering when trying to download songs from itunes. I frequently receive a message stating "there was a problem downloading the song. An unknow error occured (8248)" However, the song appears in my purchased history and of course I get charged. This has happened often, however occasionally a song will download properly, and we have been able to download applications (games) with no problem. Please help! Thank you.
