Songs added to iTunes not showing up properly.

I recently added an entire album to my itunes library, but they do not show up anywhere but in the Songs list.
The artist does not display under Artist, nor under Recently Added Playlist either. Also, the album does not show up under Albums.
When I sync the songs to my iPod, they do not even show up in my songs playlist. The only place the songs show up is in my Albums menu, not in Songs, Recently Added Playlist, or Artists.
What the **** is going on here? I've deleted and re-added the files with no luck. All of the songs play back perfectly, they just don't show up where they're supposed to.

In iTunes, select all the tracks for an album that you are having problems with on the iPod and make sure, when you do a Get Info, they are NOT checked as "Part of a Compilation" (even if it is a greatest hits album, it is still the same artist, right?).
Next, select the first track, Get Info and check the two fields Artist and Album Artist. Hit next to go to the next one and the next. Are they all the same? Do some have Artist Album filled in buy not all of them?

Just now, I bought some music from iTunes and once everything downloaded, none of the titles of the songs appeared! Even when I try to manually change that with the "get info" option, I would type in the title, press okay, but then it still would not show up! What's happening?

By any chance have you turned "off" those columns in your window? Go up to the top of that window (on any of the visible columns) right-click (or control-click if you don't have a two-button mouse). You should see a pop-up list of all possible columns that could be displayed. Make sure that "Title" has a check by it.
If that's not the problem, then unfortunately, I have no other ideas.

Can you explain what you have done whilst matching your library. I have explained in previous posts what you should expect to see.
The tracks with the download icon are in the cloud but if they have the download icon, this would suggest that the originals are no longer on your computer. Where are the original files?
Your original post was regarding tracks not in the cloud. If you create a smart playlist with any of the following criteria - iCloud status not = matched, not = uploaded and not= purchased, you will establish tracks not in the cloud. What do you see when you have done this?

Ralph9430 offers a good suggestion. But you may need to do this before taking his advice:
Check in iPhoto's Preferences (which you can open from the iPhoto menu). Look in General, and make sure "Connecting Camera Opens" is set to "Image Capture").
If it is set to "iPhoto", you won't be able to get to Image Capture easily.

ScrollBars not showing up properly

I am displaying a JTree in a JScrollPane with default settings ie. both horizontal and vertical scroll bars will show up when the contents can not fit in to the scroll pane.In this case when i expand the tree nodes the scroll bars are not showing up properly.It looks like the foreground is not painted properly.The background color is white here.We are using custom look and feel, not the standard one. Any idea why it is so?

Song PLAYS but does not show up in iTunes

I have an mp3. I right click on it, select "open with iTunes" and then iTunes begins playing the song. however, it does not show up in the song list with the other songs. You can see the title up in the top, where it shows the song thats playing, but it is not in the song list! When I search my iTunes for the song, it does not appear. What's going on?

What format files are these? If WMA the Mac version of iTunes cannot read those. If WAV they will transfer without labels (tags) because WAV does not support tags.
Have you looked in the Recently Added folder just to make sure they didn't end up with labels you weren't expecting?

ITunes not showing songs that are on the iPod Touch

I have an iPod Touch 4th Generation.
I use iTunes 11.0.
I usually connect my iPod Touch to iTunes and play songs from there because I do not put songs in my itunes library.
I was doing this as usual and today when I connected my iPod Touch to iTunes, songs did not show up on the music tab of "On This iPod".
Just the previous day, I opened iTunes and there were all my songs.
Today, iTunes does not show any of my downloaded songs that were not bought from the iTunes Store.
The iTunes Capacity Bar shows that I have songs on my iPod Touch.
But when clicking on the iPod and going under the music tab in "On This iPod", there is no music other than a few songs, which were purchased from the iTunes Store itself.
I also tried third party software just today to check if I can get the songs off my iPod.
I tried using SharePod and it did not detect any songs, not even the purchased songs from iTunes.
There are songs on the iPod Touch only. I can play all the songs from the iPod Touch just fine.
They are simply just not showing up on iTunes.
How do I get iTunes to show the songs on my iPod Touch? The capacity bar says there are songs.
I tried SharePod a few times long before this happened, and it showed the songs on the iPod Touch.
I don't understand why all of a sudden the songs all disappeared from iTunes itself only.
(I would say this is similar to other issues where iTunes DOES show songs while the iPod itself DOES NOT. Mine is the opposite.)

I tried backing up the iPod Touch.
Now all the songs on the iPod Touch (except for the purchased ones) are turned to blank names and are skipped.
There is no name for each song or artwork, they all are called 'unknown'.
Only the purchased songs are left unharmed. Everything else is corrupted now.

I bought What I've Done by Linkin Park and it is not showing up in my library nor my Purchased. iTunes froze right after I bought it. Could that be the reason why I didn't get my song? If so how do I get it?

If that doesnt work than try going into My Documents -> My Music -> iTunes -> iTunes Library -> Linkin Park -> and see if the song file is there, if it is just drag it into your purchased music.

IPhone would not let me delete individual song from library, tried deleting album to remove music from local storage, now certain songs from album do not show in iTunes match on iPhone only on computer

Upon completion of matching and uploading my very large library of music (+15,000), I wanted to see how iTunes Match worked on my iPhone. I started it and selected the first album in the list to listen to. I let it play the entire album and then decided that I wanted to remove certain songs off of the iPhone's local storage. Tried to delete the individual songs and it would not let me. So I figured that I would go back and just delete the album. After selecting delete I went back to listen to one of the songs on the album and realized that it deleted several of the songs from the iTunes Match completely. When pulling iTunes up on my computer the songs are still there but does not give me the option to upload to iTunes Match.
I have tried turning off Match on iPhone and back on (doesn't seem to do anything cause when turned off the iPhone still displays the music.)
Then tried power cycling. (Still shows the music)
Then I tried power cycling again and resyncing the phone and the iPhone still shows the music as it was on the phone.
How do I get the music to be accessable on the iPhone again.. I have been messing with this for the course of 3 hours now.. and any help would be appreciated!!

Actually Michael I know exactly how to delete.. The iPhone would not let me swipe to the left to delete the individual song, so I went to the album view and did it there.. The issue I am having is a bug because it removed 3/4 of the albums availablity off my iPhone.. You post proved no help because it is basic troubleshooting which, if you read my post, I have already done.. I did however figure out how to fix my issue on my own.. Basically I had to remove the album from my iTunes on my computer and upload it again to iTunes Match..

How come the song and album does not show up on top of the new iTunes?

I just downloaded the new iTunes and when I go to play a song, the title and album does not show up on the top of the screen. The only thing that is there is the Apple logo. Does anyone know why this is? and how can I get it to show the song title and album.
The song is playing right now, but it is not showing up where it used to. (Where the Apple logo is)
