I downloaded an album and most of the songs cut off before they are done. How can i get a refund or credit for this?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

Same problem. I have submitted feedback. It appears that a significant number of people are experiencing the same problem and have been for months - yet, no official response of correction from Apple. This problem is also affecting the 'Match' product they're trying to sell. I would recommend waiting until this problem is fixed before signing up for Match.

  • Itunes 10.5 is cutting songs off before they're finished ... it's happend on several songs. Worked fine before 10.5, I've checked the song info ..stop time is correct .. anyone know what's going on with 10.5

After I upgrades to ituens 10.5 songs are cutting off early. It's happened on several songs. I checked the song info ...stop time is correct. Antone know whats going on? Seems like 10.5 may have a bug ..

When you say "rebuild your library", do you just mean to import songs from your CDs, etc.? What about songs that have been downloaded from Itunes? I'm obviously having the same problem and I'm seeing a lot of people asking the same questions, but really no solid answers yet? I'd say my description matches Auntiheather's above - about 1/3 of songs, etc. etc.

  • Problems downloading OS Lion. Unfortunately the Download always stops before it has finished. Time 1 hour already, problems downloading OS Lion. Unfortunately the Download always stops before it has finished. Time 1 hour already

I want to download the new OS lion (first time) but the download already stopped twice. Saying download not possible. It took already more than an hour till the download stopped. Anyone has an idea what the reason might be?

yes you would have to log onto her computer using your own apple id if you want it to update (assuming your id was the one downloading lion) and no for the second question. The itunes Representative said it shouldn't have any impact on your purchasing ability.....
By the way, i don't think you're allowed to install lion on your friend's computer. Unless you are using it for yourself. As the rep said "if there was some personal use well then it would meet the conditions." so if you were to transfer, say, pictures for storage on your friend's computer then i think it'd be fine.

  • Wifi sync stops before it's finished

Trying to sync a large library over wifi on a new iPad, but it never completes the sync. A few hundred songs will sync ok, and the next time I look at the iPad I notice that it has stopped syncing. PC is set to stay awake indefinitely. Any ideas what may be causing it to time out?

    Shaoul,
as others explained why it's a bad thing, here is a very ugly trick to
acomplish something of it. It's so ugly I won't use it in my programs.
I'll assume you do something with an array in your for loop. To "stop"
the loop you can use a case structure with 2 cases: one empty and the
other with a huge delay (e. g. 40 days). To get the data out of the
for loop you have to use a local variable for the whole array so you
need to work with shift registers and "append to array".
The way to reintroduce data dependency outside the for loop is by
polling the array size of the local variable. If it didn't grow for
    e. g. 100 ms the for loop is "
finished" and in the delay state.
The downside of this trick is that the vi doesn't finish and you have
    to abort it.
Does someone in this group know about the obfuscated C contest, where
you try to write C code that noone can understand? What about doing
something like that in G? We have some guidelines how to wire; the
contest could reveal ways how _not_ to it.

  • While loop stops before countdown has finished

    Hello everyone
I have a problem with this scenario:
What I want is, that I can enter a series of arrays and then it will choose the first row because the first cycle number is 0, the second is 1 and so on. I want this loop to continue until I've left my arrays empty. The probelm is when I test it, it immediately stops, but when I highlight everything seems to work fine.
This is a program I'm trying to write so it can control some dosing pumps - I put in a number and weight and then it converts it into a set point % which will trigger the pumps. When the countdown is finished then it should start dosing with the next weight and time.
I'm fairly new to labVIEW. I've tried looking everywhere but I haven't found that could help me, I count on you!
    Thank you very much

Thank you very much all of you! It almost works!
I must say that you guys put a lot of effort into helping me, I'm grateful.
    I went with this solution:
I added the "stop 2" button, which starts everything.
I just have a slight problem. When I want to pause I press the stop button again and it pauses. When I start again - by pressing the stop button - it resumes but I can see that it kept counting seconds while it was pause. I guess, that what I want is, that when I pause that it sends a zero signal to the pump which tells it to stop and the same with the timer. And when I start I want it to resume. Ya' follow me?
I hope any of you guys, who have already been so helpful, can help!
    Thank you

  • I have 2 issues: (1) songs are randomly being cut off before they finish and (2) songs are randomly repeating back-to-back.  Help!

I have a 6th Gen ipod nano that will randomly cut songs off before they are finished.  It also will randomly replay a song before moving on to the next.  Why?? Help!!

    Hello timnpaige,
Thank you for the details of the two issues you are experiencing with your iPod nano.  For issues like this, I recommend resyncing the music to your iPod.
If you are syncing automatically, resync content to the iPod by unchecking "Sync Music" and clicking "Apply,"  then checking "Sync Music" and clicking "Apply" again.
You can find the syncing steps in the following articles:

  • Songs start after beginning of song and end before the song is finished.  these are the same songs that are on my IPodtouch and they play in their entirety there.  So what's the problem with listening to them on Itunes on my Mac computer?

The music on Itunes on my MacBook start into the song; not from the beginning.  The song also ends before it should.  I have this same music on my IPodtouch and they play from beginning to end.  Why don't they play the total song on ITunes on my MacBook?  Anyone know???

    Hello flashgoddess
It sounds like you have a crossfade turned on. Check the Playback tab in iTunes Preferences to see if anything is selected that would give that kind of behavior.

  • Syncing Stops before all songs are added

When I sync my iPod using iTunes 8.0, for some reason the syncing process stops and ejects my iPod before my entire library is added. Can someone help me with this? I have to sync it about 10 times before 90% of my songs are added but even then I don't get them all.
    Thank you.

With what you have already done, it seems most likely to be a iTunes issue. You might want to go through a reinstall of iTunes. Here are directions to do that:

You can select to reinstall iTunes on the page above and you can get full instructions.

  • My iPod Touch (iOS 6.1.3) keeps cutting off songs before they finish.

My iPod keeps cutting off songs before they finish. There doesn't seem to be a pattern - it only happens to some songs. It also doesn't cut them all off with the same amount of time remaining. The songs work perfectly when I play them back on iTunes on my laptop.
I've tried removing and reloading all the music as well as restoring my iPod to its factory settings.
Please help... it's driving me mad!!

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • HT201272 I am missing parts of songs downloaded from itunes.they are in my purchased section but not in the artists folder.they play for the first part but do not complete the track

For the last few downloads the albums have been incomplete.most of the tracks are ok, but two or three tracks start ok but do not finish ,stopping after an short part and then going on to the next track. the songs are complete when i check them in the purchased section, but are incomplete in the album folder.

Thank you, I read that lengthy procedure before I asked the question.
I have no way of following all of those steps successfully since I am about butterfingered a sthe last dinosaur and will make every  mistake in the world and get frustrated with  something that SHOULD be simple.
I have the three disk autobook showing in iTunes library as one title , I had to  enter the dat amyself since it was not listed on the internet data base, All entries for all tracks match and I have indicated  the disk number  as  one, two or three of three as indicated.
Yet when I sync the iTunes to the iPod I am being presented with each individual track listed in the Audiobook Menu.
I am using the latest version of iTunes and a iPod Classic 160G-- that I purchased three days ago purposefully for the converting of the audiobooks to a portable device since the Library of Congress  ( NLS BARD ) books are formatted differently and the player is bulky.
Does anybody hav eany other ideas?
Does anybody have an e-mail address for Apple,  preferably iTunes folks?
This is a handicap accessability problem since my wife cannot see and depends on these audio books.
Obviously I will try that link to that Chapter and Verse site and see what I can do.
Thank you for your quick response
