Songs deleting themselves, purchases history not displaying

Hi,
Firstly, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, it is a cross between 2 things so I figured I'd give this one a shot.
So recently my iPhone has decided to, one by one, delete all of the songs that are on it.
Usually I would find this annoying, but I would just go back in to the purchases section of iTunes on my phone and download them again, but the purchases section is only displaying the last 2 purchases I made. Previous movies and tv shows still able to be downloaded.
It is still letting me play some of the previous purchases that it hasn't deleted. Perhaps it doesn't like my taste in music?
I am aware the the 'recentpurchases' part of iTunes and have made sure that I am not looking solely in that section.
Any help or advice that anyone can give is greatly appreciate.
Thanks
iPhone 4S, 7.1.1

You can try "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" on the [[Safe mode]] start window - See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Resetting_preferences
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems
See [[Basic Troubleshooting|#Make_a_new_profile|Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile]]
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox

Maybe you have multiple accounts that's why your purchase history is empty. You can try checking for possible Apple IDs that's existing for you or you can ask for assistance from support.

  • Songs delete themselves

Hi, I've been set on a quest to figure out my nieces ipod nano (i have a regular 2nd gen ipod)- her ipod charges fine and i just set it to my mac with no problem but the issue that i'm trying to resolve is that her ipod will get songs on it for about a week, then when the battery dies the songs are all erased... I searched for as long as I had the patience to find something on this topic but I couldnt find anything... so to recap...
    - battery is fine
    - songs upload fine
    - songs delete themselves when ipod battery dies (about a week into normal usage)
how do I get the songs to stay on after the ipod dies?? (I realize that keeping it charged would eliminate issues but she is 8 and that won't ever happen)
    thanks... Dani

Is your iPod set to automatically update? If so, are all the songs still in your iTunes library? If not, this is probably the cause.
If it is, you may want to restore your iPod and then resync it with iTunes...

Also, make sure you never disconnect your iPod when it says not to.

I'm sorry, you are not addressing Apple here. This is a user to user forum. Feedback to Apple goes here: www.apple.com/feedback and click on the appropriate link.
You can also look at this support document about battery. http://osxdaily.com/2013/09/19/ios-7-battery-life-fix/ While I don't doubt you have some issues, I have 2 iPhone 4s here at home on iOS 7.0.4 and both work very well.

  • Is it possible to delete the purchase history in the App Store?

Is it possible to delete the purchase history in the App Store?

No it isn't. You can hide the purchases in the App Store but you can't delete them. But you must do this in your iTunes account in the iTunes app on a computer. It cannot be done from the phone.

    You can't.
You can hide the purchases, but you have to do that on your computer using iTunes. You cannot do it directly on the iPad.

  • Some of songs that I purchased are not shown in the purchased history.

I want to re-download some of songs that I purchased long ago. But apparently the purchase history doesn't show some specific songs. I've already ereased receipt e-mail. How can I re-download those songs.

Since you say you purchased these songs long ago, it's quite possible the iTunes Store no longer carries them.
If that's true, then you're out of luck.

  • I want to delete my purchased history in the app store..How do i do that?

i recently updated to IOS 7 and don't like how you can see my purchase history in the app store. how can i delete it?

You can hide your purchase history, but not from the iOS device itself.
You need to use iTunes, as shown here:

    Hi Anand,
Here's how we implemented this functionality:
    1. Setup an Account dimension property called "commentacct"
    2. Set the property for accounts that we setup specifically to keep track of comments to "Y". These accounts ultimately have no facts associated with them.
    3. Create the stored procedure that is displayed below, noting the changes you'll need to make to appset, tables, and dimensions to reflect your current setup.
    4. Create the stored procedure that is displayed below, which executes the stored procedure when the comment table is updated.
Let me know if this helps. Regards, Craig

  • How to retrieve songs in Itunes Purchase History and put back in my Library

I had an old computer that I was trying to update and it completely froze. Unable to save any programs, computer is now at the city dump. I bought a new computer and I am unable to rip the songs from my nano ipod and/or retrieve any of my music that I purchased. I have two nano ipods and one is now completely blank. I understand why and I am guarding the one that still has songs on it. I can see the songs in my Itunes purchase history. How can I get those songs downloaded back into my Library?

Hold shift and ctrl keys, WHILE HOLDING THEM connect the nano that is not blank to the PC. When iTUnes opens and list the nano let go of the keys. this stops an auto update.
In iTUnes goto edit>preferences>ipod and set it to "Manual Update" then goto the Advanced tab>general sub tab and make sure "Copy files added to the library to itunes music folder" is UNCHECKED then hit OK.
Now you can use third party programs like yamipod or podutil to copy all the songs back to the PC that are on the nano. Which program you use depends on if your itunes library is blank or not or if you want the playlist from your nano back on the PC. I'll walk you thru it when you post back on what you want

  • Purchase history not connecting

I can access I-tunes and navigate as normal. When I click on buy song it asks me for my password and to confirm I want to buy as normal but then it brings up another box stating that there is a problem with my purchase history. I then have to re enter my password, when I click ok then it trys to access i-tunes store but times out and asks me to make sure that my network settings are correct...
I cant access purchase history via the menu bar either... same messgae???
    any ideas???

There are 2, maybe 3 factors I suspect.
One is that some content may no longer be available in the Store so you will no longer be able to download it.
The T&Cs for the store expressly say that you are responsible for keeping backups as things may not always be available (content providers may remove or repackage products online).
The second, is I suspect that content may have it's 'product code' changed in the store occasionally and while superficially something you bought seems to be still on sale maybe to the 'computer' it is no longer available with the original 'product code', SKU or whatever you want to call it.  I have previously asked support why certain things I'd purchased were never available for purchase in iTunes Plus format when they were still clearly available for purchase.  i never recieved a satisfactory answer and they just said certain things are no longer available.
Thirdly, I suspect the system may be glitchy!
Having said that I think I have some things now listing for download in iTunes that have never been offered for iTunes Plus upgrade so that may be a bonus.
There are definitely other things that are missing.
Oddly, some Artists are listed  and the pane says 'All Purchases available have already been downloaded to your computer' - no tracks are listed as downloaded and the purchases are not in iTunes at all.  Other artist entries list purchases but say correctly they are downloaded.

  • ITunes Music Download Issues - Purchased Music Not Displaying in iTunes

I am having trouble with iTunes. This is what the problem is:
    1) Purchased music / TV from iTunes.
    2) Paused downloads.
    3) Closed iTunes.
    4) Later re-opened iTunes
    5) Went to Store > Downloads
When I do this, the media which I have purchased, but not yet downloaded is not listed. At the bottom of this screen, it reads "62 iTunes Downloads Available." When I click on the download button, or go to Store > Check for Available Downloads, I receive the error "Unable to check for available downloads: the iTunes store is temporarily unavailable."
This has been happening yesterday and today. On two seperate networks. And this is also happening for my wife, who receives the same error on her iMac.
The odd thing is that I CAN purchase new music. If I purchase an album right now, the purchase goes through and the download begins. This indicates that I AM connected to iTunes. However, if I pause the downloads, close iTunes, and try to resume the downloads later (or download items that have been purchased, but not downloaded), than iTunes is unable to make the connection to the store.
My internet connection is working just fine. And as I said, I am able to connect in certain circumstances, but not others. Any suggestions? This seems to be a software flaw.

I am having a similar problem. I purchased an iTunes Essential package but only half of the songs downloaded. I have the 34 iTunes songs are available for download in the download file but nothing happens when I click on the button, no error message, no nothing.
I have been in touch with Apple and have gotten their perfunctory responses all of which indicate that I have the problem not them. I asked for a refund for the songs purchased and billed but not received, but no response to that age old customer service solution.
The last fix from them was to backup my iTunes files uninstall iTunes and then reinstall it. If that doesn't work they offered to provide me with a phone number for a customer service call that I might have to pay for!! I have decided not to uninstall and reinstall the software. I'm madder than **** and I will continue to send them problem message after problem message for as long as it takes to get them to refund my money.
