I've searched the forums and found a few of them, but does anyone happen to have a list of all the songs that have been used in iPod TV commercials? Or know of a website that may have a list? Just curious.

Apple have designed the iPod deliberately so that the transfer of music is by default one way from iTunes to iPod. The most likely reason is to discourage the use of the iPod for widespread music file sharing. This is a logical step for such a high profile company to take in the current environment. It's especially relevant considering that Apple has to work closely with the music companies to maintain the iTunes Music Store.

Songs from the Ipod to the Computer....?

Is there anyway to get ALL the songs from my ipod to my computer? I've recently had to recover my computer, and lost all my files. I'm not sure if it's possible, but if you could get them out, I'll really appreciate it.

Extremely Simple Method: (just to recover the song files – may not work on a Mac)
1 - Open iTunes
2 - Edit=>Preferences=>’Advanced/General’ tab
2a --- Select ‘Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library’: checked
2b --- Select ‘Keep iTunes Music folder organized’: checked
2c --- Click OK to store changes
3 - Attach your iPod to the PC and hold down the ‘Shift+Ctrl’ keys until the iPod is fully recognized (this will defeat the auto-sync process)
4 - If you get a dialog box to link the Library, decline this option
5 - Within iTunes: Edit=>Preferences=>’iPod’ tab: switch iPod to manual transfer – click ‘OK’
6 – File=>Add Folder
7 - Browse to and open ‘My Computer’ (click on the ‘+’) and select the iPod
8 - Click OK
9 - The music files should start to transfer back into iTunes
9a –- This will take some time depending on your PC and the amount of songs on the iPod
No Playlists, or Ratings, Last Played, & Play Count attributes will be transferred from the iPod to iTunes using this method.
If you have problems with seeing the iPod within 'My Computer', try switching your update method to 'manual'.
After recovering your song files, strongly consider developing a thorough backup strategy for just this type of situation (and many other potential disasters).
You need at least two full sets of your music, not including what is on the iPod:
-- One full set on the PC within iTunes (on internal HD or ExHD)
-- One full set on an separate external backup medium (CD/DVD/ExHD/other)
-- One (full or partial) set on the iPod
Music files on just the iPod and only one other medium is not considered having any backup.
If you cannot store your complete music files on the computer’s internal HD, then create and maintain at least two external sets (any multiple combinations of ExHDs, DVDs, CDs).
Backup both the music files and the Library database file (iTunes Library.itl). What are the iTunes Library files?

Is it possible to hook my iPod up to another computer, manually download music from there, and then import that music from my iPod into my iTunes on my preferred hard drive? I feel silly for not knowing this.

The transfer of non iTMS content such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there's a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to your Mac. The procedure is a bit involved but if you're interested it's available at this link: Two-way Street: Moving Music Off the iPod
If you prefer something more automated there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve music files and playlists from your iPod, this is just a selection. I use Senuti but have a look at the web pages and documentation for the others too, you'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos and games as well. I just bought a new computer, now itunes tells me I can only sync with one computer. It only offers me the choice to erase and sync. I do not want to erase my ipod, I just want my music on the new computer. Can't I just transfer the songs from the ipod

Is this possible, or do I have to go back to my cds and upload everything from there? I just want to be able to move my music from my ipod to the new computer.

You need to transfer your iTunes Library from the old computer to the new one - then you can carry on syncing as normal. You can't move non-purchased music from an iPod to iTunes using iTunes. For purchased music, choose iTunes > File > Transfer purchases...

iPhone warranty is not international, but is valid only in
the country of original purchase. Since you bought the iPhone
in the UK, your warranty is valid anywhere in the EU but not
in Egypt. You can gry taking it to an Apple authorized reseller,
but don't be surprised if they tell you they cannot do anything.

Saving songs from the ipod to the pc without synchronizing it

Recently i reformatted my pc and so far i have no access to my storage with the music. In my ipod there are several playing list that i will lose immediately as soon as i synchronize it. So how could i might save to my pc the old playing list? how could i sadd more songs and playing list without synchronizing?

- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up

It depends on your car stereo. On the JVC we have you can select either "Head Mode" or "iPod Mode" when you're plugged into the USB port. Ipod Mode lets you select the songs from the iPod although the radio still controls the volume. I believe the Alpine I have does the same thing.
