Songs In Download Queue not downloading

After working fine for more than a week, the music queue in my ovi music is not downloading from the server even though I can browse and select music and even listen to the 30 sec preview; music won't download from either the pc or the N8 handset. It says cannot connect to sever. Anyone else have a problem with this....is the server down?

I was facing the same problem but I have solved it. Please follow below steps:-
1. First you should be able to access private folder in c drive, most of us use rom patcher open4all patch to get access to private and other folders which are blocked. People who didn't hacked there mobile yet just search google for Nortan hack for belle fp2.
2. Install Netquin Mobile Guard to get the information of the folders used in the nokia music process (in my case private-»200261b3 and private-»101ffb51) for which we are looking in the private. Go to Mobile Guard»Clean Spam»Nokia Music Process and you will find folder name in the process name.
3. After applying open4all patch open X-Plore and search for the folder names in private folder in c drive and delete download.db, downloadedsongs.db and musicdownloads.db after closing the nokia music process.
4. Restart Nokia Music and whoa queue has gone....enjoy music world

I downloaded an album from itunes and only half of the songs have downloaded. The rest keep trying to download, but I keep getting a message that says, "Song cannot be downloaded at this time. Do you want to retry or be done." Each time I retry, the same thing happens. They will not download. I have restarted my phone and the same problem remains.

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over a number of days.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting it from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

My computer failed and the main drive had to be formatted but all my music was on a separate internal hard drive. So I downloaded the latest iTunes , problem is it has found all my songs but seems to not recognize half of the album data, half of the artists, all of the dates and all ratings data.
I had a large part of it backed up on DVD's but it does not want to recognise them either?
    Any tips?

  • HT1933 I have songs I downloaded and paid for but are not playing in my iTunes.

I paid for some songs to download but now they aren't playing in iTunes. They still show up in the list but won't play. I don't have the email proof that I purchased the songs.

Are they still in your country's store, and do they show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone for redownloading, or if using your computer's iTunes the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the store home page ? Whether music will show there will depend upon what country that you are in (music can't be redownloaded in all countries), whether they are still in your country's store (any item could be removed by the rights-holder at any time), and whether they are hidden (hiding and unhiding) - if they show but don't have the cloud symbol for redownloading then are they still listed in your device/computer's library ?
(These are user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple, and you are only guaranteed one download of each item.)

  • I just downloaded an album from a gift card, and not all the songs were downloaded..how do i finish downloading the album without purchasing it again?

I just downloaded the T-Pain rEVOLVEr Album from a gift card, but not all the songs were downloaded to my library. Is there a way to finish downloading the remaining songs without purchasing the entire album?

    Hey Astrozilla,
Thanks for the question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
I understand you are having issues with a couple of songs you recently purchased. It may be that these songs did not download fully, or correctly. The best troubleshooting step may be to delete the songs from your library, and re-download using iTunes in the Cloud (if available in your country).
For more information, see the following:
Songs in iTunes may not play back completely
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4357
    Symptoms
Occasionally, if a song purchased from the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC was not downloaded completely, the song may not play back fully. The song may abruptly stop during playback, and iTunes may start playing the next song in your library or playlist.
    Resolution
If iTunes in the Cloud is available in your country, try the following steps to resolve the issue:
    1. Delete the purchased song that is exhibiting the problem from your iTunes library.
    2. Click on the Purchased link in the iTunes Store to view your previously purchased music.
    3. Download your previously purchased song from this list.
Note: iTunes in the Cloud, which allows you to download previously purchased songs from the iTunes Store, is not available in every country. Learn if iTunes in the Cloud is offered in your country.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

Yes ... if just one song on an album is doing that, it usually means you've got a damaged file on your hands.

I downloaded a song and it will not play in its entirety. Is anyone else having this problem? This has occurred on two or three songs I've downloaded lately.

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over a couple of weeks or so.

  • As of today, neither sample songs on the music store nor songs already downloaded will play correctly.  They are stuttery and slow.  I have iTunes 10.5 and have not downloaded any upgrades for anything recently.  They were working last night. Thoughts?

As of today, neither sample songs on the music store nor songs already downloaded will play correctly.  They are stuttery and slow.  I have iTunes 10.5 and have not downloaded any upgrades for anything recently.  They were working last night. Thoughts or advice?

I found a solution that worked for me.  Here is what I did and where I found it.
"Looks like I tracked down the problem, it worked for me so I hope this works for everyone else experiencing problems.  Go to your Task Manager and locate the program APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push)..... if you see this executing terminate the program and then startup iTunes and it should come up fine.  You will see afterwards that APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push) starts back up but this is fine as long as iTunes has already started.
I tried playing both music and syncing up my iPhone with no problems.  Note if you shutdown iTunes again you will have to terminate the process APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push) again.  Haven't had time to see what in the world Apple Push is but this appears to have corrected the problem so that you can at least use iTunes and sync any device that needs to be synced.
    Hope that helps everyone!"

  • The songs I downloaded are not playing and i think I plugged in the wrong plug, however, when I try to reload them it says they are already purchased-what did I do

Please give me some advice-I plugged in the wrong end of my Ipod to the computer and the songs I purchased are not there, when I tried to repurchase them the computer said I already had them   please help

How do you plug in "the wrong end of my Ipod to the computer"?  The iPod only has ONE connection point, so how does it have a "wrong end"?
For the songs you purchased, can you find them in your iTunes music library (on the computer)?
If you try to re-purchase (spend more money) on a song you already purchased, the iTunes Store will kindly tell you not to waste your money buying something you already have.  If you ever "lose" a song you already purchased from the iTunes Store, you can go to the iTunes Store Purchased screen and re-download the previous purchase for no cost.  The link to Purchased is under QUICK LINKS on the iTunes Store Home screen.
If songs you purchased do not sync to the shuffle, it may be because the new songs are not part of the songs selected to sync to the shuffle.

  • I have a iTunes account and recently 2 of the song I have downloaded will not play, it says that it not authorised to play. How ever on the same day the other songs I downloaded that day are playing fine

I have a iTunes account and recently 2 of the song I have downloaded will not play, it says that it not authorised to play. How ever on the same day the other songs I downloaded that day are playing fine. I can't play the 2 song on my lap top and I-pod.

    Hello Jigz19,
It sounds like you are unable to play a couple of songs from your library becuase you get a message that the computer is unauthorized to play, but other content purchased that same day works without issue. I would verify that the affected songs were purchased with the same Apple ID first:
Recovering a forgotten iTunes Store account name
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1920
    Open iTunes
Highlight one of the items you have purchased (You can find your purchases in your Purchases playlist).
    Choose File > Get Info.
    Click the Summary tab.
The Account Name area will list the account used to purchase the item. Unless you have changed accounts, this is your iTunes Store account name.
If so, then delete the songs:

Does any media sync to the iPod?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
