Songs kepps changing halfway through!!

Hi! Please Help!!
Im an avid iTunes user and over the past week or so, my iTunes is stuffing up. Songs are changing halfway through and going straight to the next song. And its not the "remember position" feature.

If there are iTunes purchaes, delete them and redownload.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

You need to delete the current copy of the broken track from your library before it will be offered up for download. It may help to close and reopen iTunes.
If the problem persists and you can't get a good version of the file contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

I bought a song from iTunes UK, downloaded it to my mac and it cuts out halfway through when I play it. this happens on my mac and ipod. How to i fix this?

TS1424 song cuts off halfway through?

I downloaded the album "Homes" from Jon & Roy and two songs show the time length of the song, but stop playing halfway through and skip right away to the next song. Is anyone else having this problem with this album, or another album and know where to go for help? Thanks!

Note Pitch Changes Halfway through work

I was creating a new song in GB. I had about five different tracks, but at the time I was only using two of them. They were both Software Instruments called "Ominous Dancefloor". And they were both exactly the same, though on both I changed the echo from the original track. I had two of them so it would be easier for me to see the two parts I was making. I added in notes and everything and then I saved the file. Then I added in a pitch bend on the last note of the series. Then I added a new track, but all of a sudden the second "Ominous Dancefloor" sounded different. The entire pitch of the thing had been changed; the first note still read as an A, though it clearly was not (more like a B or G). The first track was still the same, though. I undid about a million times, though the pitches were sill changed. I really don't know what just happened. This has happened before, too, with the same track, and I hadn't saved that time. Please help, it's really annoying me. It fixes itself if I quit, but I can't keep saving and quitting every hour.

You've recorded a pitch bend and stopped recording before the wheel has returned back to its zero position - the pitch will be permanently changed afterwards (or until another set of pitch bend events occur).
You'll have to delete the pitch bend information and record the pitch bend properly (make sure it goes back to normal before stopping recording!)

i recently purchase a song using itunes it shows it downloaded all the way but it cuts out halfway thorugh the song.

I am having trouble with a few of my songs only playing halfway through then skipping ? Anyone know how to resolve this issue ?

I bought a couple of singles and I can only listen to the first half. I have purchased 3 cds since then and they all work fine, it is only these songs and i submitted a report to itunes but it wasn't resolved . anyone have any ideas?

HT1725 song cuts out halfway through

I bought the smash complete season 2 soundtrack today, and one of the songs on it (the song i was actually wanting) cuts out after 1min 49secs.
I use winamp to play my music, but also it cuts out at the same spot when using other music players?
Is there any way i can re-download this song to get it complete? When i try though itunes it says its already on my computer.

TS3297 Songs cut out halfway through, help please.

After purchasing Clutch's album 'Blast Tyrant' I noticed that half of the songs cut out mid-song. It is obvious that they are not meant to cut out where they are as I've heard most of them before. Anyone know how to resolve this?
I also had the same problem with another album I had purchased and downloaded on the same day.

HT1725 Paused a download then resumed and now song stops playing halfway through

I downloaded an album from iTunes Store and one song was going to take 2 hrs to download so I paused the download and then restarted it and it worked. But now when I play that song it stops about 2 minutes into it and skips to the next song. Please help?

I just got an ipod nano and every song shuts off halfway through . . .

Does anyone know how to prevent that? It seems odd that it came that way.

I am sorry to upset you, but what I am describing here is exactly what is happening.
If your 6th Gen Nano turns off when the screen goes dark, then that is because the Nano has not detected the headset as inserted. That is what is is supposed to do under 1.1 in order to save battery power. If it does not detect a headset, it pauses the Nano when the screen darkens.
The question is WHY is it not detecting the headset. My post above completely explores the ways to solve your problem. If after doing what I describe it still does not work, then you should take it to the Apple store since the physical headset jack may have a defect.

The online support does not cover my situation. My download completed but most of the songs stop playing halfway through and jump to the next song. The download appears to have been faulty. How can I fix this? Is there a human being I can speak with?

IPod freezes, after restore stops syncing halfway through

I have a 2-year old 20gb iPod that has worked fantastically for the last 2 years. About 2 weeks ago, its started freezing up at random times. I couldn't shut it off, skip songs, etc. I just had to wait 5 minutes or so for it to come back. I restored it on iTunes the other night, but during my reload of songs, it stopped halfway through. So, my iPod only has about 9gb on it. If I try to keep syncing it up, it eventually gives me an "unknown error occured" message and deletes everything on my iPod.
I NEED HELP!

It is expected that when you connect an iPod that was synced to another computer/iTunes ibray, the iPod will be erased and its contents replaced with that in the iTunes library of the new computer. An iPod can only sync with one iTunes library.
