Songs not available in Can., are in US.
Anybody know why this problems exists? Enlighten me as to why I can't find certain songs in Canada that I can in the United States Itunes store.

Often, the owner of the rights to licence the song (for sale) is not the performing artist. It could be the record company or "an organistaion", or ... well, didn't Michael Jackson own the rights to the Beatles catalogue? Look at how long has it taken to get the Beatles catalogue in the iTunes Store (even if you're not a fan)?
I once read an artist's blog, who stated that two of his band's early albums would never come out on CD because the copyright holder wanted too much money to licence the rights! So in other words, they'd rather have no money, than "not as much as they want".
Truth be told, the copyright owner is probably holding out in the hope of increasing demand and value due to rarity. That may have worked "in the old days" when getting the physical disc was the only (practical) way of getting the music. But in today's market, that simply doesn't work and I fear that the rights holder of these particular albums has missed the boat. And would you believe it, both albums were released (far too late, I reckon) on one CD earlier in the year. Even more unbelieveable is that the band's MySpace page makes no mention of the CD!

"coverage not available in your area"
I'm considering getting the iPhone, the problem is when I enter my zipcode on apple.com it gives me a message stating "coverage not available...try entering another zipcode...you can purchase an iphone but you won't be able to activate it in an area with no coverage." When I look at the AT&T coverage map it shows orange in my area although there are some surroundings with no coverage. I talked to the people at my local AT&T store, they said that coverage near my house was moderate and that I should be able to activate the iPhone. I'm worried about the message I'm getting on apple.com. I I get the iPhone will I be able to activate it with that zipcode?

NHL Not available in your area
Ok Apple whats up? I purchased the Apple TV so I could get the NHL Games the guy in the store confirms It works so I buy it. Take it home and try to purchase the NHL game center and get this message that the service is not available in my area. Odd, I live in Seattle made sure the location information in Apple TV was set right and tried again still the same message. Can someone tell me why this will not work it suck to have this and can't use it for what it was purchased for. Any Help would be great????????

I recently got an iphone 5S and my songs not purchased from iTunes are grayed out (phone only) and are skipped past when playing them through my iPhone. i have tried the following:
1) Removing all music from phone and resynced to iTunes PC library.
2) Erased phone and restored from back up
3) Erased phone and started as a new iPhone
4) Reformated the music files in my library that weren't playing
5) Deleted songs from iPhone and computer and re-imported CDs
6) Tried to redownload my COMPLETE MUSIC LIBRARY from iCloud.
7) I have also turned it off and turned it back on several times
8) I tried syncing through my macbook (only moved partial songs to it to see if it would even work).
9) I have tried to get Siri to play them, did not work.
10) All music does play fine on my iPod Touch 3rd (iOS6 i think) gen and iTunes on Mac and PC
11) I added a CD to my roommates iTunes and it plays on their iPhone 5S but not mine.
After all of these things it is now WORSE!!! My iTunes purchased songs are now experiencing the same issue along with some (not all) of the original music files that were skipping and grayed out. My conclusion is i have no clue at this point! I have done everything i have found online in EVERY discussion, i have spent over 60 hours trying to get this to work and i am asking myself, i bought this product why am having to fix this when it worked just fine on my iPod touch (3rd Gen) and iPod Classic!!!! PLEASE APPLE FIX THIS ISSUE FOR US!!!!I had this problem too after i upgdatd to OS X Mavericks... only the songs on my iphone 5s that i purchased from itunes would play.
i read something about it being a syncing issue. when you plug your phone into your computer with the usb cable, the person said to switch from automatic syncing of itunes to the "manual" option. mine was already set to manual so i wasn't sure anything would work. BUT, when i plugged my phone into my computer, it started to sync all of my music on my phone again (top of itunes bar where song playing/time is listed said "now syncing 123/534 songs to x's iphone"). once that was completed, i checked the music app on my iphone and everything was back to normal!
so, i would suggest setting your music syncing settings to manual if you haven't tried that yet!

3G service not available in our area?
I live outside of the Dallas area in Texas and have been told that the 3G service is not available in our area. So does that mean that I could buy the new 3G iPhone, pay AT&T for the service, and not receive the speed I expected?
When I bought my iPhone July 11, there was no 3G service in my home area and the AT&T store manager told me not to expect it until 2nd qtr 2009. However, I've been receiving good 3G signal for over a month, even though the AT&T coverage map still shows it as non-3G. FWIW, they seem to be rapidly expanding 3G.

Why are some songs not available in the U.S. iTunes Store?
There is a song called "The Moment I Knew" by Taylor Swift. I want to get it off of the U.S. iTunes Store, but it's only available as a ringtone, not a song. And the weirdest thing is that the song is available in other countries along with the Deluxe Edition of Red, but in the U.S., Taylor Swift usually releases the bonus tracks as singles. I need to know!!!
It is not currently available in the US Store. So, you won't be able to get it via iTunes. You can purchase the Red Deluxe CDs at Target, which has the song on them.

The problem with that is your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

Why are some songs not available for ringtones?
I had a ringtone on my old RAZR phone and loved it. I would like to make it my ringtone on my Iphone. The song is available in Itunes and I saw another post that said some songs even though they don't have a "bell" in the ringtone column can still be made into ringtones. I have the CD, but I downloaded the song anyway and it tells me that song is no longer available for ringtones. How do I go about asking Apple/Itunes to make it available again?

Help after hard drive change - some songs not available
I had an external hard drive that started to act wonky and wouldn't mount. I was able to get to mount one last time and transfer the contents over to a new hard drive. Now every time I start iTunes there is a message about checking for gapless playback. I believe there are 82 tracks. It goes by rather fast so it is hard to read each and every title. The ones I have read upon checking I find that the songs have no content. They just don't exist. When you go to control I instead of the track showing the length it shows Not Available. Is there anyway to search my hard drive to find out which tracks are having a problem?

I have songs in my iTunes library that have an uploaded status. However, they are not available on my iOS devices. iTunes Match is enabled on all devices. Any suggestions?
The most common cause of this issue is that the initial iTunes Match scan, match and upload process has not finished. Make sure it has finished.
If the process has finished, what exactly do you see when you look for these "missing" tracks on the iOS device? -
I have some music that is not available in the time section. The songs won't play on my ipod or on my computer. I have deleted them and reinstalled the cds (which have been purchased from a store) and I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes. Does any one have any suggestions?

Sorry, I don't understand what this means.
1. Do you mean that you've imported the songs from the CD but under the time column, there is no time shown?
2. Do you have other songs (from other CDs) that do have time shown and do play?
3. Are the CDs (with the non-playing songs) copy protected or is there anything unusual about them?
