Songs Not copied onto work pc

"72 songs were not copied to the iPod, Sarah's iPod because you are not authorized to play it on this computer."
Is there anything I can do? These are songs that I purchased off of iTunes.
I am having problems with my laptop not recognizing my iPod. When I tried changing the drive, per the Apple helpdesk, the iPod disappeared. I just want the songs I paid for to be copied onto my iPod.
I made back-up disks from my laptop, downloaded the newest version of iTunes onto my work pc, synched my iPod and that is when I got the error message.

i have a 2nd generation 4 GB ipod nano, i recently added more songs to the playlist and am now upto 616 songs, but not all the new songs will copy onto my ipod. for example there are 3 songs by The Clash on the playlist but only one ever transfers to my ipod, i have restarted my ipod and this didnt help... what is wrong?

Is there anything different about those that do and do not sync? Such as when you optained them, the formate if they are age rated

After having my ipod stolen i purchased a new Ipod classic. When syncing my music to my ipod i get an error on a number of songs, "not copied to ipod because it cannot be played on this ipod." This did not happen with my old ipod which i purchased just one year prior. Why can these songs not be played on my new ipod?

"I bought this song on iTunes - wrote the song to CD - made an MP3. Then tried to copy the song (MP3) to my Nano."
Was there some particular reason you did this? I'm just curious as to why you didn't leave it as an AAC file.
Do you still have the original downloaded AAC file and does this play on the iPod ok?

Songs not copying from iTunes to iPod

I am running iTunes for Windows, version 11.0.4. I have an 8GB iPod Nano generation 2, with software version 1.1.3 on it. I can play songs in my library through iTunes with no problem, and I can play any songs that are on my iPod with no problems when using headphones or plugged into an aux jack on my car stereo. Here are my issues:
When I attempt to transfer songs from iTunes to my iPod, the message "Copying 1 of #: <song name>" in the display (# being the number of sogs I'm trying to copy.) The problem is, nothing ever happens. No progress bar, no going onto song 2, nothing. It just sits there, and the eject button for the iPod shows the sync icon spinning. I cannot stop the transfer by clicking the X next to the message, it just continues on, doing nothing. To stop it, I need to click on the eject button, which does eject the iPod. When I look on the iPod, the one song it said was copying is there. I can play it and it works fine. When I plug the iPod back into my PC, I cannot see the songs on the iPod. They just don't show up. Turning the sidebar on, I see the iPod connected, but there is no "Music" option listed under it. In the new view, I can click on the iPod, select "On This iPod" and I see "Music" as a playlist, but there is nothing listed under it. When I click Autofill, all it does is sit there for a few minutes, saying that it is autofilling the iPod, but only one song shows up on the iPod.
To try and fix this issue, I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, and also did a Restore iPod. Neither worked. I tried plugging my USB cable into a different port. The only thing I have not tried is a different USB cable, as I don't have one. Once I get one I can attempt that, but I doubt that's the issue, as iTunes has no problem seeing my iPod, just transfering songs to it.
Does anybody have any ideas why this may be happening? The worst part about this is since I did a restore, I now have NO songs on my iPod (except for the 2 that I did manage to copy onto it.) Thanks in advance for anybody that can help me out!

For some reason, hooking the iPod up to my wife's machine (which it worked fine on) seems to have done the trick. When I reattached it to my machine, it updates fine from iTunes.
Wish I had tried that first before restoring it.

Songs not copied .....because they cannot be played on this iPod

I'm trying to add songs from a cd onto my iPod, and no matter what cd I put onto iTunes, it tells me "Songs not in the iTunes music library were not copied because they cannot be played on this iPod. I girst got this message when I tried to add songs from a different computer. Now I get it on my home PC as well.
Any ideas how to get my cd's on my iPod without resetting my iPod ? I updated my iPod software, as well as restarting my computer.

What is the format of the songs that won't copy. Some of the earlier iPods would not play Lossless or other types of files.

hi! i just bought a song from itunes and it wouldn't let me play it. then when i tried loading it onto my ipod it said '(song title) was not copied to the ipod "ipod name" because it cannot be played on this ipod'. i had bought music probably 20-30 minutes earlier and there was no problem with those songs whatsoever. help?

I get the message, "A song was not copied to my IPhone because I am not autorized to play it on my computer." In all cases, these are songs that I've purchassed through Itunes. How do I correct this?

It sounds like your computer needs to be reauthorized. Try playing a purchased song on your computer. It may ask you to authorize, which should then clear up your issue.

i am using Ipod shuffle 2 generation....
Song is not copying to the ipod ...manually or by autofilling...both fails and itunes hangs....

Error: "...songs not copied...not authorized to play them on this comp..."

When I try to transfer my songs to my new iPod I get this message:
"Some of the items in the iTunes library, including xxx, were not copied to the iPod "Bradley's iPod" because you are not authorized to play them on this computer."
Why can't I transfer the songs? I paid for these songs. What's wrong? How do I fix this?

When syncing blackberry to imac calendar, blackberry events are not copied onto calendar

Suddenly for no apparent reason I cannot sync the calendars between Blackberry and Imac. Entries in BB are not copied over to Imac Calendar. The opposite though works.Any suggestion?

Itunes songs not copied due to ipod software too old???

p4 3.2g generic pc Windows XP Pro
recently bought ipod video and downloaded all software to update ipod.ipod came back with error of itunes songs could not be copied because your ipod software is too old...it stated that it was 1.1 and that was the latest...tried to reset to factory presets and it stuffs up...little folder icon..eventually got it going....only to plug in next day to find it had same message and all itunes songs wiped. This went on a couple of times ...reseting till it said the ipod was not recognised and a trip down to an apple store where luckily for me were very helpfull(chadstone).however it was in mac format...reset again!!!unplug..replug...move around and finally got it going...so far so good..not keen to unplug till finished loading all songs in case it deletes itunes bought songs again...suspect doggy pc software..apple software works in half the time and always works...at moment not interested in buying a mac...but maybe apple taking a leaf out of bill's book...only with mac..more work needs to be done on pc side...does anyone else suffer from this problem as i would like to hear from them and how they got around it...

I will have to see if they play through the whole song in my library. I know the sampler played prior to purchasing. After I purchased and were added to my playlist I didnt try them to see if they played once purchased in my iTunes acct. I will and let you know. Unfortunately Im not at my computer with my iTunes on it. I appreciate your suggests and help. I will add to this once I find out. Thanks!

First Song Not Syncing onto Vision

I'm ripping all of my music using WMP (0, I believe), and syncing my player (Vision M 30GB) with Creative MediaSource. While I can see the first track on each album in the file system (and on both WMP and CMS), the first tracks from the albums I've ripped in the last 4 days don't appear on the player after sync.
Any ideas/suggestions?

probably music sync is not open in itunes,go in itunes,select ipod,select music(you have there summary,music, video,etc.) and turn on music sync then go in summary and press sync and it must work

You have "Reference Object" in your Sequence above the "Reference Object with Installed equipment", which makes the transaction first fill the Functional Location only, and afterwards, the Equipment field is grayed out by the time it gets to copying it.
Swap the Sequences of fields 50 and 200 or delete the field 50 from copy settings in
SPRO > Plant Maintenance > Work Clearance Management > Master Data > Data Transfer When Creating with Template > Define Fields
