Songs recently added are stuttering while playing. Any ideas why?

I recently added 4 CD's to the library and created a playlist of those 4 CDs. Now when I play them, they 'stutter' while playing the music.

Do they "stutter" when you play them in itunes or only on your iPod? If they do in itunes, they might have just failed to import correctly, or skipped while importing, or are scratched.
If they only stutter on your iPod, perhaps try restoring your iPod.. If that doesn't help, you might need a new hard drive.

I am developing material in Captivate 8. The option under Preferences to "restrict keyboard tabbing to slide items only" is definitely checked, but tabbing still leaves the project screen and moves into browser fields in both preview and published views. Any ideas why this is happening?

I have a new iPad, using Safari when I go to a site that has mpg4 movies they don't play any idea why ?

Hey there, I love my ipad. I went to a url which has mpg4 files associated when I attempt to play them I get a QuickTime symple with a question mark. I know the site works as I can see the video's from my PC using Chrome, IE, FF only safari doesn't work. Is there a trick? I am new to apply it's day 4 and I am still crossing over from a PC person to an apple person.

Done all the normal updates - iOS5, iTunes 10.5, etc.
As of the middle of June, every time I "like" a song via Ping in iTunes, it no longer updates in my Recent Activity tab in Ping. Any ideas why, or how I can resolve?

I don't have a solution, but this is also happening to me. I have contacted iTunes Support but they have been less than useful. Hopefully someone will have a solution and post here.

I'm sorry, I didn't explain myself correctly. I was referring to watching a video on the iPod. It is really annoying when the video freezes momentarily, and the audio continues to play smoothly, but by the time the video catches up, you have lost several frames of your video. You know what I mean? Really annoying...

How can you "watch" a video while you are scrolling
around in your menus? There is only one screen on my
iPod and I can only use it to watch videos OR scroll
through menus. When I press the menu button while
watching a video, the iPod goes back to the previous
menu. Then, when I go back to the video, it starts
back exactly where it was when I pressed the menu

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

I have a serious problem with my mp3s in itunes. for a while the music always stutters while playing in itunes. i checked many forums and have seen the advices with switching the audiodevice in quicktime to save play. but nothing has changed. my audio device is an nvidia nforce, is there any problem with the component an itunes. Please help me....

Don't leap to that conclusion. iTunes is more strict/finicky/incompetent (pick your own interpretation) about slight variations in MP3 headers, and will often trip on files that other players handle fine.
Treating the files with a 3rd party tag cleanup program such as MP3 Validator often clears up the problem.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to close and restart iTunes.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

The problem is the "screen saver". Normally after some time the backlight of your ipod is switched off automatically and a clock appears. This doesn't work properly and leads to resets.
The solution: You have to go in the main menu to "settings/backlight and activate "Always on". After that your ipod should work properly. To avoid a very low battery runtime now, you have to adjust the brighness settings to a low value.
This also solves problems like radomly skipping songs or stopping playback.
I really would like apple to solve this problem, but i doubt this will ever happen.

Apple TV cannot play the current song - any idea why?

I'm seeing this with some songs that I'm trying to stream from my main iTunes library; all AAC files at 160 kbps. Does anyone have any idea why this happens to only certain songs (in this case it's all the songs of one album, which is even more curious...)?

Turns out this occurs with some songs when you add art with CoverScout.

While creating a project in Garage Band my sample tracks were cut short then overwritten in soundtrack pro. Any ideas why? and how to get my tracks back?

Any ideas why? and how to get my tracks back?
I never opened soundtrack pro to edit the track just Garage band....the track just mysteriously saved as half the track.
I am running Lion and I upgraded my Garage band to '11 hoping it would resolve the issue...it didn't. Now I can't find that tracks at all.
The 2 songs having the issue are titled Exotic Yearning and Reunion.
I am in the process of reinstalling the audio content from my discs. I just don't want to run into this again.
Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated!

After spending some time reinstalling the soundtrack pro 3 content I opened the full track called Reunion.
It showed back up in Garage Band.*It was the full track and wasn't chopped off until I dragged it onto the project. Then it showed up chopped.
Then I closed Garaged band and opened soundtrack pro 3....The song was again chopped off at the 1:33min mark

Not really, a bug I suspect...
