Songs stop without pressing any button
hi, I need help, my ipod nano stops the song while I am listening them without pressing any button not even play/pause button. If someone can tell me what to do it will be great.

no, the songs just stop, it does not turn off or turn on, the songs stop, and then i press the play/pause button and it continues playing but then it stops again many times, may be it will fix without help but it is a little annoying, also when i reset the ipod it fix just for a little time then it continues stoping.

Is there a fix for skipping or repeating songs, or for the voice over to come on without pushing any buttons?
I only use this 5th generation Shuffle when I run. I don't have headphone issues because I use running headphones meant to handle sweat. However, my Shuffle will, halfway through a song, go back to the beginning, play a few seconds and jump back to the beginning again. Also, when this starts happening, the Voice-over comes on again and again with no buttons being pushed. I keep the Shuffled clipped to the waistband of my running shorts, so it probably does get a little sweatty, but not like it would if it were clipped to the collar of my shirt!
Is this a problem I'm going to have to live with? I never had this issue with my old Shuffle, which was the first of the clip-on Sheffles.Hi punisherbv,
Are you using the beta? it's not fully secure, so try using Firefox 3 instead. If you are already using Firefox 3, it seems like what Firefox is saying is correct- the site is not supplying identity information. So what you could do is go to that exact site, then click on the little golden lock at the very corner of the page. Then, enter the 'permissions' tab and allow everything. Exit, and then try bookmarking the page! -
Can anyone help me connect my Macbook Air to a SAMSUNG TV. When I follow the basic instructions (Thunderbolt to HDMI connection) the screen on my computer goes grey and an error message appears inviting me to press any button to restart the Macbook. When I do this nothing happens. Only when I disconnect the computer from the TV does the Macbook allow me to login. The TV does not receive any signal from the Macbook even though I know the HDI port works fine. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Do I need to enable something on the Macbook?
An update...
I downloaded Apple's (rather large!) list of software updates today, and I was finally able to recognize my iPod again. I did a restore using the iPod updater from 06-2006, and all seemed to work OK. (I'm afraid to try the new one again!)
Then I tried to re-load my music library from iTunes, and got stuck. It froze up after a while and wouldn't go any further.
When I disconnected my iPod from my computer, I find 2 podcasts and nothing else, though iTunes told me it had transferred 600+ songs. Those 2 podcasts do play fine, and the basic iPod software all seems to be intact.
So -- anyone get through this connection problem and have any ideas to share??

So I have an iPad with the smart cover, and it's usually supposed to turn on and off the iPad when u open it and close it, but it's not turning on for me. Nor is it turning off without pressing the button. What is the meaning of this?what caused it to be this way? Is there someway that I could fix it?

You set up the smart cover function in settings (you did that, right?) so, if you did that and it's failed you make an appointment at your nearest Genius Bar now. -
4th Gen Ipod Nano - Shutsdown upon pressing ANY button
Ok, heres the deal.. this is driving me crazy..
Im not new to ipods, iphones, etc... I am a IT professional, but this has me totally stumped!!
I have my G/fs 8gb ipod nano, she told me it keeps shutting off..
so i grabbed it, plugged it in to power, and it powers on, and has full battery, as soon as i press ANY BUTTON it shuts down.. i then have to unplug and plug it back in for it to come on, and then same thing, press any button it shuts down.
So i plugged it into itunes and did a restore, its now at the select language screen weather its plugged in to the computer or NOT as soon as i press the select button for language.. if plugged into the computer, it reboots, if unplugged it shuts down, and i have to plug it in, and it will come back on, and same symptoms..
i totally have no idea what could be causing this..
now im just curious as to whats causing this..
any help would be awsome..You will need to replace the button.

I have a first gen iPad, and it will randomly go home from the Internet when I don't press any button. I have a wireless connection at home. Is this a known bug? What can I do?
You maybe running low on memory since you are using the original iPad with iOS 5.1.1 and the iPad is crashing. This may help and it certainly won't hurt.
Quit all apps completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Do this before you launch Safari again. Go to Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and Data. You don't have to clear the history. -

Since I have changed from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1, I have not been able to start up Photoshop Elements 9! or Premiere Elements 9! The menu starts up alright, but the programs don't start when I press any buttons. How do I fix this problem?
If Layers is greyed out it possibly means that you are in Quick Mode. Select 'Expert' and all the options should become available.
Try permanently associating psd files with C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe and see if that fixes the issue. Instructions here - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/choose-programs-windows-uses-default.

when I move mouse on Firefox-History (it must show context menu) he just begins to think, and after ~20 seconds he looks like I haven't pressed any buttons! I tried to turn off all addons but it doesn't help. Also he "thinks" everytime when he gets new downloading and sometimes on pushing Bookmarks
Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

DVD player has two control windows, can't press any buttons.
The internal disk drive on my Late 2009 Mac mini has been non-functional for longer than I've had it. However, I've never really needed it until recently. But when I tried using my new external drive (which runs perfectly and is most certainly not the source of the problem) I encounter one of the strangest glitches I've ever had using Macs!
The DVD player uses the old (brushed metal, 10.6-style) control panel in the bottom-right corner... Until I turn on full-screen. Then the GUI changes to a glazed black appearance (10.7-style) and all of the controls are unresponsive. The features can be triggered by the hotkeys (space bar to play/pause, etc.) but none of the actual buttons can be clicked on. The interface still fades in and out with mouse movement though.
But it starts getting really strange when I exit fullscreen again. Now the brushed metal interface has odd white corners as if the alpha channel is being ignored! https://dl.dropbox.com/u/14403620/brokeninterface.tiff And what's more, though I was unable to reproduce this after a few attempts, once it actually brought the normal control window into fullscreen! There were then two contol interfaces, neither of them could be pressed (though the normal one works outside of fullscreen) and the normal one could still be dragged around the screen yet wouldn't fade away when idle!
Now please note that I am running OS-X 10.7.5 upgraded from 10.6 in the past and the DVD player may not have been original to this computer. I am also using SIMBL and Maximizer and have both Quicktime 7 and Quicktime X installed.
There are thus many things which could be causing the issue, but I have no idea what actually is.
Any insight would be appreciated. I can provide more information if nessesary.Stan -

Below you'll see a snip of how my current folder structure appears. It's identical to yours, except there are no button files in the General Folder. Since you were kind enough to include a file name, I did a search on that specific one and it's nowhere to be found on my hard drive. Hmmm....
I've seen others remark on how... "challenging".... Adobe's instructions can be sometime. I'll admit to having the same feeling when I was trying to download and install all the content files and the 7-zip stuff. Is the answer somehow that I screwed up that? Note the 7-zip folder right above the Adobe folder. Here's a screen shot of that expanded folder contents:
Does that look like you think it should? Have I not installed or extracted something correctly?
Finally, the only other thing I can think of to give you as much info as you might need is to include a screenshot of where the "Functional Content" stuff got saved. Adobe's instructions about this (if I recall correctly) were that it did NOT have to be installed anywhere specific, but you then had to go into Encore (& Premiere) and through preferences point to this stuff, which I believe I did. But I don't see any button type files in these anyway.
Other thoughts or advice?

Reward PointsWell, than just forget about the buttons and create some code at the end of the PAI event which you have already coded (i realize some actions ( with my code)). Just do a perform event_xxx and perform event_yyy. The code which will be executed (processed) will look exactly the same as if you had created it when pushing buttons:
CASE OK_CODE.
WHEN 'AAA'.
let's say this is done with your code
perform event_aaa.
perform: event_xxx, event_yyy.
WHEN 'XXX'.
perform event_xxx.

How to keep the watch to display without press the button on my iPod Nano 6th)?

I have purchased a watchband for my ipod nano 6th recently, overall is okay but i don't know how to keep the watch to display without pressing the sleep/resume button on edge? Also, the screen is not showing the watch immeditaly when I press the button, it shows the music/cd folder, then I need to scroll the screen back to the watch display. Please help.There is no way to keep the display on permanently, as doing so would significantly reduce the overall life of the battery. It would maybe last only hour, maybe not even.
As for having your iPod wake up to the watch view, head to Settings -> General -> Time on Wake -> On.

If you see the last line - it just halts - doesn't show any error or any other message. And the task in the windows task scheduler keeps showing the task as running - without any error there as well.
Any ideas on why it is just going to a limbo (no sessions also appear on EAS console)
AnkurYes the script can be manually executed. Also if I again put a mxl file starting from the step where it last stopped - it continues execution normally. (i.e. executes StepB2 as well and continues executing)
And today's execution result - I kept monitoring the server, it ran for 3hrs and then halts after around 80% of the steps with 20% were still remaining. I created a new Mxl to start from the last 20% and it ran successfully again.

Expose' starting without pushing any buttons!
I have my Expose' set up to work with my mouse and the two side buttons (or button 4). This is the way it has worked since i got my mac a year ago. All of the sudden without even squeezing the two side buttons to "activate" Expose' it starts erradically (spelling?) and without me doing anything. any suggestions as to a fix?
Hmmm it may be an dirt or bad contact in the connector mouse .... Try to open and clean the mouse or to try another mouse to see if the problem is solved!
