Songs will not play to the end on only one of my computers

Some of the songs in my library will not play to the end.  However, I have come to realize this is only happening on one of my computers.  The computer I sync with.  The same songs will play on my laptop and iPad.  ??? What gives?

Just in case, check to see if "Crossfade songs" has been checked in your Playback preferences in iTunes. Here's a screenshot showing where to find it:
If it is checked, try unchecking it and click OK.

    Thanks for this post. It corrected my similar issue. Note that you need to exit from/re-enter iTunes after deleting the song from your Purchased list.

    Congratulations on the new Mini. Are you saying you tried burning and it does not play, or do you want to burn it only for the computer to be able to play it?
    OS X Mountain Lion: Burn a CD or DVD may help.

    You can probably import into a modern version of iMovie (8 or higher).
    If you just wish to view the videos the free VLC player can play them back.

    Hi just installed latest update to itunes and have just noticed that it will no longer play my tracks all the way to the end mainly stopping around 8 sec from the end has anyone else had this problem have all ready tried deleting libery and re-installing it but still doesnt work. please help
    PS All songs play ok though Media Player so not corupted data.

    I am using Encore CS5 and my DVD is a DUAL LAYER
    I have created a DVD of a dance show. I have a PLAY ALL button that plays the full show but on the timeline I have created CHAPTER POINTS for each dance.
    On a SUB MENU I have created a dance selection menu, the buttons on this menu point to CHAPTER PLAYLISTS that I have created, so for example I have 18 dances and I have created 18 CHAPTER PLAYLISTS with each one having every dance in it. I have applied end actions to every playlist to go back to the previous menu. When I preview the DVD in Encore the dance selection works fine, it plays that dance and goes back to the previous menu.
         The problem I have is when I have created the image and watch it with VLC player or I burn it to a DVD some of the dance selections only play about 10 secs and not the full dance and then it will apply the end action and go back to the previous menu. This is extremely frustrating!!!!!!!!
    Has any one experienced anything similar or have any idea why this is happening.

    From the rest of what you said, I assume you mean that each chapter playlist includes ONLY ONE dance in it. If you mean what you said in this sentence, you want only one dance in each chapter playlist.
    Make sure that you have no end actions on any chapters. While you are looking at that, make sure that you have no overrides anywhere in the project. It doesn't matter whether you are sure you did not add any. There is the inadvertant click, and I have had Encore add chapter end actions when working with its timeline.
    If all is as it should be, burn a test disk, and confirm you see the problem from a DVD player. I find VLC a great test option, but it does not handle slideshows, so I'd test beyond it.

    You will need to locate where you itunes library is and then relink one of the songs, itunes will do the rest. So if your itunes library is on an external hard drive or something like that. When you get the error message click yes you would like to locate it. then navigate to the external hard drive where the itunes libray is and locate that particular song. Once you have linked one, itunes will ask if you would like it to locate the rest, click yes and it will find the rest of the files if they are in the same location.

    A couple of months ago, I went to the Apple Store to try and sort this problem out. I was told that I was not playing my songs out of an actual music library. I created a library and loaded all of my songs, movies, etc. onto it. I had found that when I synced my songs from the new library onto my itouch, the songs no longer stopped in odd spots or bled into each other. To ensure that most of my songs had been fixed, I played the ones that were the most problematic. Fortunately, the songs play all the way through without any interruption. So far, I have not encountered the same problems that I had posted in my question. I apologize for not knowing the fellow's name who helped me with my iTouch at the Apple Store, but I would like to say how thankful and happy I am now that my iTouch no longer skips to the next song.
    I know that other people have had this same issue with their iPods. If you encounter your music not playing correctly, I would suggest that making a new library and  loading all of your music into the new one may help correct the problem. I hope that this helps.

    The path C:\users\owner\appdata\local\apple\apple software update\bonjour64.msi cannot be found. verify that you have access to this location and try again or try to find the installation package "bonjour64.msi" in a folder from which you can install the product bonjour.
    Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on 25 June 2010. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
    Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
    After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
    If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
    Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove".
    Quit out of CleanUp. Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

    You will need to go into your Files and locate the song.  By default, iTunes saves songs in the iTunes Media Folder which can be found in the following locations:
    Mac OS X: /Users/username/Music
    Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\
    Windows Vista: \Users\username\Music\iTunes
    Windows 7 and Windows 8: \Users\username\My Music\iTunes
    If you locate your song file, when you try to play it in iTunes, you will be given an option to locate.  Navigate to the file in the pop up window and iTunes will re-path the file location.
    Most people encounter this issue when moving to a new computer or if you have your music saved on an external drive or folder that you have since moved or removed.  The imperative part is finding the song so you can re-map it.

    I finally resolved my problem after spending way too much time on it. I simply handed my 160GB iPod to my husband to put his fav Stones & Beatles songs on and I went back to my 80GB Microsoft Zune which has never disappointed me.
    After spending so much time trying to figure this out I did finally take it back to Apple Store who performed a diagnostic and found there was a problem with the device. They replaced it with a refurbished one which has similar issues. All I wanted to do was listen to my music. Was that too much to ask? So I am happy to be free of this problematic device. No more Apple for me!!
