Sony fix camera software for z1 ,z1s,z1 compact and bring z2 camera stuff

the camera software makes the exposure and iso to its highest settings most times so it produces bright pictures and the algorithm for low light is really bad fix it sony

I do not understand why Sony does not pay more attention to the camera if it is in the foreground put her trump card as being in charge, I found the example application čameringo .... which is much more better than Sonny supplements camera has options for temperature image contrast image and then obtain a realistic view as the very sonijava camera with a bright color that you can not reduce, why Sony does not have in its application to the camera?

  • Sony AVCHD conversion software for import to Premiere Elements

I am testing out a Sony HXR-NX3 camcorder.  Planning to use it for wedding videos so I'm looking at the color and low light capabilities.  When I copied the footage from the SD card to my PC then dragged the files into Adobe Premiere Elements v10 I noticed the sound did not come along.  After some research, I found an article that stated:  "In order to edit Sony HXR-NX3 60p MTS files smoothly, the easy workaround is to use 3rd-party to rewrap and convert 1080 60p footage a more "editable" format."
Here is the link to the article:  http://www.brorsoft.com/how-to/import-sony-hxr-nx3-footage-to-adobe-premiere.html
I filmed in 1080/30p (not 60) but apparently it has the same issue.  I also read that the Sony needs special software to combine files (>2g) that it split during recording and also if you are trying to combine files that crossed SD cards.
I found three possible pieces of software and wonder if anyone has a recommendation.
I am running W8.  Adobe Premiere Elements 10. Footage shot at 1080/30p 17mps.
Sony Content Management Utility (which requires the physical camcorder to activate).  I could only find v1 online.  (Camcorder is a rental.)

Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac (not sure this will work on Windows OS)

Please take a look at the blog post PE12: Seamless File Merging Before Import"
ATR Premiere Elements Troubleshooting: PE12: Seamless File Merging Before Import
It uses Command Prompt to get the job done.
It may be on the primitive side when it comes to the converter mentioned, but it might just take care of the audio issues and the files merging if those are the target concerns?
Please let us know if you decide to try the approach on a mini test run basis.

  • Camera software for WVC54GCA keeps crashng

I have 2 x WVC54GCA on a wired network.  PC has core 2 duo, 2MB RAM, SSD for OS and separate drive for camera software and recordings.
Firmware is latest.  Software downloaded and installed twice.  AV told to ignore whole of E: drive where software and recordngs are.
Software keeps crashing all the time (sometimes several times a day).
    Any idea's anyone?

Thanks for your input, your time is most appreciated.
Originally I installed onto the C: drive, then when it crashed all the time, I re-installed - same problem.  I de-installed and re-installed using downloaded program instead of the one off the disk.  I then installed it onto a different drive, where things are a little more reliable, but still wholey unacceptable.  I have never had any problems with my computer and have never had any of my software crash.
Is there any reason you are suggesting putting it back on the c: drive or is it just a "see what happens if" idea?

  • Security camera software for Mac

I have purchased a DVR for my security cameras and it only came with monitoring software for pc.
I have been looking for a mac version without luck....
    Anyone knows of such sorftware?

The easiest and fastest help should be to ask the DVR supplier or retailer who sold it to you for the Mac OS X software that works with your system.

  • Is there actually any computer cleaning software for Mac that is safe and works?

Is there actually any cleaning software for IMac that issafe and works. Have an early 2008 iMac, have up-graded RAM to 6GB.

    How to maintain a Mac
    1. Make redundant backups, keeping at least one off site at all times. One backup is not enough. Don’t back up your backups; all should be made directly from the original data. Don’t rely completely on any single backup method, such as Time Machine. If you get an indication that a backup has failed, don't ignore it.
    2. Keep your software up to date. In the App Store or Software Update preference pane (depending on the OS version), you can configure automatic notifications of updates to OS X and other Mac App Store products. Some third-party applications from other sources have a similar feature, if you don’t mind letting them phone home. Otherwise you have to check yourself on a regular basis.
Keeping up to date is especially important for complex software that modifies the operating system, such as device drivers. Before installing any Apple update, you must check that all such modifications that you use are compatible. Incompatibility with third-party software is by far the most common cause of trouble with system updates.
    3. Don't install crapware, such as “themes,” "haxies," “add-ons,” “toolbars,” “enhancers," “optimizers,” “accelerators,” "boosters," “extenders,” “cleaners,” "doctors," "tune-ups," “defragmenters,” “firewalls,” "barriers," “guardians,” “defenders,” “protectors,” most “plugins,” commercial "virus scanners,” "disk tools," or "utilities." With very few exceptions, such stuff is useless or worse than useless. Above all, avoid any software that purports to change the look and feel of the user interface.
It's not much of an exaggeration to say that the whole "utility" software industry for the Mac is a fraud on consumers. The most extreme examples are the "CleanMyMac" and “MacKeeper” scams.
As a rule, the only software you should install is that which directly enables you to do the things you use a computer for, and doesn't change the way other software works.
Safari extensions, and perhaps the equivalent for other web browsers, are a partial exception to the above rule. Most are safe, and they're easy to get rid of if they don't work. Some may cause the browser to crash or otherwise malfunction.  Some are malicious. Use with caution, and install only well-known extensions from relatively trustworthy sources, such as the Safari Extensions Gallery.
Never install any third-party software unless you know how to uninstall it. Otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
    4. Don't install bad, conflicting, or unnecessary fonts. Whenever you install new fonts, use the validation feature of the built-in Font Book application to make sure the fonts aren't defective and don't conflict with each other or with others that you already have. See the built-in help and this support article for instructions. Deactivate or remove fonts that you don't really need to speed up application launching.
    5. Beware of malware. Malware is malicious software that circulates on the Internet. This kind of attack on OS X used to be so rare that it was hardly a concern, but it's now increasingly common, and increasingly dangerous.
There is some built-in protection against downloading malware, but you can’t rely on it — the attackers are always at least one day ahead of the defense. You can’t rely on third-party protection either. What you can rely on is common-sense awareness — not paranoia, which only makes you more vulnerable.
Never install software from an untrustworthy or unknown source. If in doubt, do some research. Any website that prompts you to install a “codec” or “plugin” that comes from the same site, or an unknown site, is untrustworthy. Software with a corporate brand, such as Adobe Flash Player, must come directly from the developer's website. No intermediary is acceptable, and don’t trust links unless you know how to parse them. Any file that is automatically downloaded from the web, without your having requested it, should go straight into the Trash. A web page that tells you that your computer has a “virus,” or that anything else is wrong with it, is a scam.
In OS X 10.7.5 or later, downloaded applications and Installer packages that have not been digitally signed by a developer registered with Apple are blocked from loading by default. The block can be overridden, but think carefully before you do so.
Because of recurring security issues in Java, it’s best to disable it in your web browsers, if it’s installed. Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This action is mandatory if you’re running any version of OS X older than 10.6.8 with the latest Java update. Note: Java has nothing to do with JavaScript, despite the similar names. Don't install Java unless you're sure you need it. Most people don't.
    6. Don't fill up your boot volume. A common mistake is adding more and more large files to your home folder until you start to get warnings that you're out of space, which may be followed in short order by a boot failure. This is more prone to happen on the newer Macs that come with an internal SSD instead of the traditional hard drive. The drive can be very nearly full before you become aware of the problem.
While it's not true that you should or must keep any particular percentage of space free, you should monitor your storage use and make sure you're not in immediate danger of using it up. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of free space on the startup volume for normal operation.
If storage space is running low, use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper to explore the volume and find out what's taking up the most space. Move seldom-used large files to secondary storage.
    7. Relax, don’t do it. Besides the above, no routine maintenance is necessary or beneficial for the vast majority of users; specifically not “cleaning caches,” “zapping the PRAM,” "resetting the SMC," “rebuilding the directory,” "defragmenting the drive," “running periodic scripts,” “dumping logs,” "deleting temp files," “scanning for viruses,” "purging memory," "checking for bad blocks," "testing the hardware," or “repairing permissions.” Such measures are either completely pointless or are useful only for solving problems, not for prevention.
To use a Mac effectively, you have to free yourself from the Windows mindset that every computer needs regular downtime maintenance such as "defragging" and "registry cleaning." Those concepts do not apply to the Mac platform. A computing device should not be a focus of your attention. It should be an almost invisible tool by means of which you communicate, work, and play. If you want a machine that is always whining for your attention like a neurotic dog, use a PC.
The very height of futility is running an expensive third-party application called “Disk Warrior” when nothing is wrong, or even when something is wrong and you have backups, which you must have. Disk Warrior is a data-salvage tool, not a maintenance tool, and you will never need it if your backups are adequate. Don’t waste money on it or anything like it.

  • Backup Software For backing up Raid Drives and main hardrive system

i'm, looking for the best software for backing up raid drives. i have rocstor raids. they said retrospect was best but after reading reviews they were not that good. i use super duper but they said for raid drives you need more than a free program
    any ideas
    thanks

I use Time Machine in conjunction with SuperDuper for my backups. I tend to use the simplistic of >the restores in Time Machine for restoring files whereas I like the speed of SuperDuper if a clone is >required. I also like the redundancy of multiple backups by different techniques.
Yes I think its a good strategy. Time machine is great for "undeleteing" if you see what I mean but a clone gets things working again very quickly after a disaster and even if you don't have time to restore you can still boot your computer. I have CCC do an incremental backup every evening at 3am.

  • HT1338 this is all well and good but how do you upgrade software, i have no updates waiting and a lot of stuff now requires updates, all i want is to buy lion snow leopard, etc. online however every time i look for a solution i get a really really crap so

I'm having a problem upgrading my computer, i wish to download snow lepard and lion but every link on the apple website as been so unhelpfull that i have no idea how to get it or where to downlaod it. is there anywhere i can do this.... the only referances i have had have been "click on the apple and press software update" i have no updates and my computer will no longer do anything without an update......
where can i get snow lepard and lion....

    Backup first
It is always best to have a full bootable backup before you upgrade. If you fail to do this you will be unable to return to this OS if you decide you don't like the new OS. Also there is a slight chance that an install could lose everything on the Mac. The backup must be to an external hard disk. Preferably use Carbon Copy Cloner to make a bootable backup of the whole disk.
    Erase before the install
Once you have a bootable backup on an external disk it is best to erase the internal disk with the new installer DVD before you install.
    During the install
Preferably do not import any data or preferences from earlier OSs during the install process as this can reintroduce bugs.
    OS numbers and names
    OS X 10.4.x - Tiger
    OS X 10.5.x - Leopard
    OS X 10.6.x - Snow Leopard
    OS X 10.7.x - Lion
    OS X 10.8.x - Mountain Lion
    More about Macs
The Apple History site has specifications for every Mac ever produced: http://www.apple-history.com/
    Upgrade to Leopard
Those wishing to upgrade to Leopard should be aware that install disks can be expensive unless you contact Apple. Details: http://lowendmac.com/deals/best-os-x-leopard-prices.html Standard Leopard installers impose several hardware limitations including speed and RAM size but all these restrictions can be overcome. Google for details. Leopard works well at 500 MHz with 1 GB of RAM and many happy users have less than this.
    Upgrade beyond Leopard
OSs beyond OS X 10.5.8 require an Intel processor. If in doubt check this: Click the apple at the top left of your screen and select 'About this Mac'. This will give you your OS number. Then click 'More Info' to see which processor you have. If it says PowerPC you cannot upgrade to Snow Leopard and above. If you have an Intel Mac it is well worth upgrading to Snow Leopard now and then considering other options after that. You can buy Snow Leopard here: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A
    Upgrade beyond Snow Leopard
Information about upgrading Snow Leopard to Lion or Mountain Lion: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD256Z/A
    Important
Check that your Mac complies with any requirements. If you are not in the US you should use the Change Country link at the bottom of Apple pages.

  • I am trying to download the software for my new HP cprinter and am having struggles

just need help downloading software for new printer

Hi , The Officejet 4630 will not work with 10.5 and lower, it is only compatible with 10.6 and above.
The only suggestion I can make will not likely be ideal, but you could email anything you want to print from the computer to the printer.
Each HP ePrint-enabled printer, such as the 6520, has its own unique email address. After you enable HP ePrint on your HP ePrint-enabled printer, you can print from your mobile or network-connected device by sending an email to your HP printer's email address. With HP ePrint, you can print from anywhere, at any time. If you can send an email, you can use HP ePrint. This blurb, and more information, can be found in the following HP Document, ePrint Product Specifications. As mentioned. This is likely not ideal, it really depends on how much printing you plan to do. If this is practical for you as a work around then mission accomplished, we found a solution, if not....  The only other options would be to consider taking the printer back and getting a different model that is compatible with 10.5, or upgrading the OS if that Mac can allow for an upgrade to 10.6. I know you'd rather not upgrade, but you might consider treating yourself, there are some nice new shiny Macs available.   What ever you decide, if you would like additional assistance, feel free to post back as I am happy to help. I hope this information resolves your inquiry.  Thanks for reaching out to the HP Forums!

  • Software for a TV capture card and DV camera?

    Hi,
I have an old Hauppauge WinTV USB (audio/video capture device) that I'm trying to use to capture some footage (composite connection, not tuner). I've tried various CLI and GUI software and I've had most luck with VLC; I can capture video but not sound.
Before I spend more hours trying to get it working, I wonder if someone would have any recommendations of software that may work well with this device. I'm also about to start using my DV camera so it would be nice if the software will work with both devices. I don't mind if it is CLI or GUI.
    Thanks

I've used mencoder for this in the past (companion app to mplayer) and it works fairly well.  It is nice because you can play around with command line parameters for mplayer, and once you can watch your live video stream correctly you can pass the same parameters to mencoder to record/encode it instead.
I've also used transcode in the past.  It seems to be better quality, but it's more complex to get going.
I'm not sure whether transcode can handle TV cards, but mplayer/mencoder can, and probably has the best support out there for obscure cards and the settings needed to get a decent picture out of them.
They can both handle DV by piping data to them from either dvgrab or dvconnect, if you want to both read DV data and transcode it at the same time.  Otherwise you can dvgrab/dvconnect to a file and transcode that later.  I prefer that option because dvgrab can automatically split the recording up based on the DV index marks, giving you a separate file for each segment of video recorded (assuming your DV camera inserts an index mark every time you press the record button of course!)

  • Slow motion camera software for iSight?

    Hi there!
I was wondering if there is any software out there that would allow me to record things using my isight camera in slow motion? 100 frames per second would be nice but more would be awesome! This would be really handy as I'm an animator and I'd like to analyze my movements better. If this is not possible, does anyone know of the cheapest digital cameras or camcorders that have features like this?
    Thanks in advance!
    Simon

I'm pretty sure the internal iSight cameras can't physically do any more that 30fps, and even that's only in ideal conditions. Any cameras I've seen that can do true high speed/slowmo recording are in the $1000+ bracket, but I haven't looked in a while.
