Sony KDL-50W800C will not auto setup and Sony does not provide any manuals beyond a primer.
Sony, once the most trusted name in Electronics has certainly dropped to the bottom of the list. I can't get my TV to work properly and the call center in the Phillipines is useless. They don't speak English and don't dare try to get them off script. Everyone that I have contacted has tried to steer me th the call center again. No Thanks! It looks like my option is to call the Geek Squad and pay them $150 to make a house call and set this thing up. Now after paying $799.99 plus tax why should I have to pay a third party to do Sony's job?Don't buy Sony!!!!!!!!!!!!

Firefox will not load any pages beyond home page, IE will!
Tried opening FF this morning and it would load the home page, but none beyond that. It would not even go to a link from the homepage. I tried different sites, but it would just say connecting and NEVER load! My IE works fine (for IE anyway!) Anyone else having any issues? I tried to update FF and that didn't help either.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

For the last 10 days I have been unable to open the Mail account on my eMac (MacOS10.4.11). When I click on the icon in the Dock the only option I get is "Force quit" and the main Mail bar will not open any choice. Any ideas?
You can setup Mail for iCloud on the eMac.

You cannot use .mac or MobileMe as type of Account, you have to choose IMAP when setting up, otherwise Mail is hard coded to change imap.mail.me.com to mail.me.com & smtp.mail.me.com to smtp.me.com, no matter what you try to enter.
iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...
On second step where it asks "Description", it has to be a unique name, but you can still use your email address.
IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
• Server name: imap.mail.me.com
• SSL Required: Yes
• Port: 993
• Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
• Password: Your iCloud password

My wi-fi connection is enabled, however Safari is telling me the server stopped responding. My laptop is working fine on the same wi-fe network. I have reset the network settings and still Safari will not open any web pages. Help!
Ralph..........Did as you suggested and I am still getting the message "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding". I am not able to connect with anything on the Internet. Frustrating since I am able to connect with my laptop. Thanks for the suggestion.

LR 5.6 on Mac desktop all of a sudden will not read any card from any reader but will work on my laptop. I can work on previous images but not import new ones. Even if I create a catalog on laptop and import to my desktop on a thumb drive, the images are only accessible as long as the thumb drive is inserted.
Sounds like you may need to repair the Disk Permissions on your drive where your images are stored.

iPod will not play any music. Seems like it is in “Pause” mode. No sound from either the head phones or internal speaker. I have 418 songs stored and none will play. I have tried resetting, turning on and off the iPod, etc. but to no avail.
Try restoring from backup. Next would be a restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

I've transferred my itunes library from PC to Macbook pro running latest itunes and now it will not recognize my iPods (nano 4 and 5th Gen an Ipod touch). All music is there and playable but will not recognize any devices. Help please
The ipod is not a backup/storage device.
You need to copy everything from your old computer to your new one.
The Apple store will do this for you, you can call apple support and they will help you, you can use google. -

My optical drive will not read any music cds or recognize a blank cd. it might read some data cds. what is wrong with it and how can i fix it?
The optics might be dirty. Try running a cleaning CD through it and see if that makes a difference.
If not, it will have to be replace.

I am running Windows 7 Professional. When I try to install Flashplayer, I get to step 3, and then the installaion will not proceed any further. A blank dialog box appears, with Adobe Flash Player Installer in the upper left corner. I have tried to install on Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. Nothing works. Please help.

I just did a software update on my phone (finally) last night and now my phone will not come on. It keeps showing the charger pointing up to a blue circle with iTunes inside and will not go any further. Can ANYONE help me please???The phone is in restore mode and the picture is telling you what to do. What happens if you open an application by ctrl-clicking on the icon then selecting Open?

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
