Sony microSDHC memory card UHS-I class 10 compatibility

Hello
I planned to purchase a Sony microSDHC 32GB memory card but I didn't found my Xperia Z2 phone on its compatible page. Model: SR-32UYA/T1.
I'm confused whether it's support or not.

Hi, just make sure you buy your card no matter which manufacturer/make it is from a reputable seller.......many, many, many fake cards out there
Just checked and I have a class 4 32GB microSD card.... wow I'm far behind
Keep up...keep up It really depends on what you use the card for re speeds etc.....i had a class 4 in my Z1 & even put it in my Z2 when i got it but upgraded to the 64gb UHS-1 now......they are getting much cheaper but i still advise people to buy from someone reputable.....just to be safe/sure

I already checked the "Lock" setting -- it is definitely unlocked.
Since the card behaves in the exact same erratic way whether I am putting it directly into the Pro, or using the card reader to put it into the Air, or even using the card reader to put it into the Pro (as an experiment), then the problem must be not with the ports (since it affect all ports equally), but either with the System/firmware, or with the card itself.
(Also, I have two different SDHC card readers, from two different manufacturers, and the same behavior appears with both of them.)
Since it does work half the time with no problems, the issue must be something offbeat, not an inability to read the card entirely.

  • Can't import from Sony XDCAM memory card to FCP 6

I can't import from Sony XDCAM memory card to FCP 6.01 HD. Am using Macbook Pro, 2 gig of RAM. This is my first time NOT using tape. I can copy the files off the memory card onto an external drive (to free up the card for pro crew's next day's shoot), but can't import either to FCP. Do I need to convert the files in some way before FCP can read them? Need to fix this problem fast as the crew are off to Nepal for 2 week shoot.

    Laura,
First, I'm assuming that you're referring to the XDCAM EX. You'll need to install the FCP 6.0.2 upgrade, which contains the XDCAM EX codecs.
Second, You'll need to install the PDZK-P1 Transfer Application, and use that to import your EX clips into FCP. I just noticed that there is a new version available, 2.5.1 which is labeled specifically for Tiger/Leopard. I haven't tested this version yet, and will report back on any stability issues. We're currently running version 2.1.1, without many issues.

    Hi robjworsley
Unfortunately it does not, so 2Gb microSD is your limit.

  • Can't read Sony SxS memory card.

Just discovered that my new $3000 MacBook Pro can't read my Sony SxS 64 GB memory card (XDCAM camera). Another "victory" of form over function! Can someone suggest a workaround? The built-in SD slot is useless to me...

Get an external card reader that supports your card
Sony make one, and Amazon sell it.

  • Memory Cards -- I am trying to have a Sony Customer Relations Rep respond to this question that I raised yesterday.

Why is my new a7II camera indicating that my Sony SDXC memory card will not work with the camera, and that I need to create a database?  I am hesitant to do so because it sounds similar ot "formatting" the card and I want to make sure that that card will transfer photos (not videos) to my VAIO and Surface laptops.  A Community Member kindly responded that this would not be a problem, but not Customer Relations.  Please confirm.  Thank you.

    Hi Florencetuscany,
If it is your first time to use the camera and the card, it is a good idea to format the card first directly in the camera. Sony camera prompts to create database because the database is needed for it to operate properly. Your camera should work fine importing files to your VAIO and Surface laptops with no issues.

  • Memory Card Reader Problem

    Hi,
I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC DV7-1002ea laptop, which has a multi card reader on the left side.
However i dont know what cards i can inster directly in, i have tried my SD card and Sony Pro card but they dont seam to fit.
    Can someone please advise?
Do i need some kind of adaptor?
    Regards,
    jay

Yes you need an adapter. If you get a mobile phone, camera etc. there should be an adapter in the box case. I got one with my Sony Ericsson(M2 to usb). I haven't got an adapter with my HP laptop but got one with old Toshiba one. Looks like this..

  • Canon T1i memory cards

I have a Canon T1i and would like to know if the newer SDXC flash memory cards are supported. If yes, are there significant advantages over SDHC cards?

Your camera supports SD and SDHC, respectively.  The SD card was the first released, and the SDXC is the most recent.  The SDHC will work best with your camera.  What you want to look at and purchase with your memory card is the Class/speed rating, which with your camera I'm guessing is maybe a recommended minimum of Class 6, and if I were you I'd go all the way and purchase a Class 10 with the greatest transfer rate.  Trust me, you won't regret it, and the cost difference is negligible when considering the cost of your camera and all its accoutrements.

  • I recently got a iPad camera connection kit hoping to directly download my photos from the memory card for my camera, a Sony Cybershot. When I put my memory card in the adapter and plug it in to the iPad nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

I recently purchased an iPad camera connection kit hoping to directly download pictures from my camera to my iPad. When I put my memory card into the adapter and plug it in to my iPad nothing happens.  My camera is a Sony Cybershot and the memory card is a Sony memory stick PRO duo 512 mb.  I don't think I am doing anything incorrect.  Is my camera/memory card incompatible with this adapter?

The Camera Connection Kit works with SD cards, not Memory Sticks.
Maybe you can find an MS to SD adapter, or use the USB connection with the USB cable that came with the camera.

  • Download movies from sony memory card

I took movies on my sony camera and they saved on a sony memory card.  I can see them on my camera.  I cannot put them on my computer, however.  They don't show up...just my pictures.  Does anyone know how to get them on my computer?
    Thanks

    Hi Burkitt!
You will want to import those photos from the memory stick into your computer, then use iTunes to sync these photos into your iPad:

  • E72 microSDHC card upgrade to class 10

I am considering stepping up to Kingston SDC10/16GB-2ADP, a class 10 card.
    The questions are:
    1) is it compatible
    2) would I get any performance gain compared to Transcend TS16GUSDHC6-P3?
    Thanks for replies.
P.S. As far as I'm concerned, SDHC cards with speed classes 2 to 6 are SD version 2.0, whereas class 10 cards as well as new SDXC ones are SD version 3.0, hence potential compatibility issues.
    Solved!

this may be dumb but how did you format the card on the device?
    Hi lw1ffd
Go to Menu > Office > File mgr. > click on memory card > Options - scroll down off screen until "Memory card options" and there is choice of "Rename" or "Format.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. What type of card is it? Try using a card reader. That has worked for most users having a similar issue.
