Hi
I´m not sure i´m in the rigth discussion so please correct me if i´m "lost"...
I ´m planning to get a PS3 and i was wonder if i could use OS X for a platform. At least the Safari instead of Internet explorer/mozilla firefox. I do not have much of computer-skills,so i need the information with "tea-spoon",if you know what i mean. Could this be done?

So i can´t go to the store,by Leopard,and install it in a PS3 is that what you mean? I know,it wasn´t exacly what i was planning to do. But can i install Safari as the seach system(is that what is called Browser....?). I got a friend who´s using Internet explorer,but i dont´t wanna have ANYTHING that can be related to Microsoft on my future PS3.

There is a huge amount of Sony Playstation users who would like to have Skype available for their consoles. The client is already available for PSP and PS Vita. There are ton of thread with this request, but none of them has received a clear answer and that's why I open a new thread. We know that there are a lot of alternatives like smart TV, Blu-ray and other compatible devices, but the request is clear : could you please let us know if there is any plan to implement a client for Sony Playstation (PS3 and/or PS4) or not? Adobe flash player 10 for Sony Playstation Portable

Dear Adobe company and developers, i know that you made adobe flash player for Sony PSP a long time ago, but that prooved to be insufficient.I consider that you abandoned the project because of some company issues between you and Sony, but we, the users of that platform, we don't care. I know you are the best in this industry, and i, like so many other users of the portable console, we ask you to release the latest version of flash player, because the browser of the console has full capabilities to play flash contents on the internet.
I humbly ask you to create this update, because version 6 was very good, but at it's time :(.... The majority of websites don't support it anymore, and we would be gladly happy to know that you didn't lost your interest in this platform developing.
The file should look like this: Adobe Flash Player Update EBOOT.PBP or Adobe Flash Player 10 EBOOT.PBP but i think you know very well the programming interface on that.
Please answer to my message to know that i receive a good news and i should be happy.

What's your favourite game on the Sony PlayStation?

My favourite game has to be Street Fighter Alpha 3. One of the best beat em up games I ever played! Loved the World Tour mode! Soundtrack and gameplay was top notch. Shame Capcom has no plans for Street Fighter Alpha 4. So what's your favourite game on the Sony PlayStation?

Seems like one of those questions that always gets asked to open a debate but find that everyone has already answered countless times. Nevermind though, as a newbe I'll give it a go. Not an easy one to answer. I like Fifa 2002 and of course Grand Turismo 2 plus Driver. Recently found a couple of games in a skip and in our local library about 40 PS1 games in their CD recycling box. Still trying to find manuals for them.

Can i Play Sony Playstation 4 on my iMac, 27-inch, Mid 2011[Thunderbolt Port Only] ??

I Use a iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011). Which has only Thunderbolt ports. Is there any way i can Connect The Sony Playstation 4 to my iMac and play games ? Just to let you know the Playstation has a HDMI out which has to be connected to my iMac's thunderbolt port to use it as a display.
Have been searching everywhere for a solution but unable to find it.

Hacker Breaks Into Sony PlayStation Network

The Japanese electronics giant Sony has admitted millions of PlayStation network gamers may have had their personal details stolen.
A hacker broke into the PlayStation video game online network and stole names, addresses and possibly credit card data belonging to 77 million people.
It is believed to be one of the biggest-ever internet security breaches of its kind.
Sony learned of the breach on April 19 and immediately shut down the PlayStation network, but kept quiet about it for a whole week.
In a statement the company said an "illegal and unauthorised person" obtained people's names, addresses, email address, birthdates, usernames, passwords, logins, security questions and more.

Problems connecting iMac and iWire to Sony PlayStation 3

Hi. Simple issue. I cannot for the life of me get my Sony PS3 to connect to my iWire local network at home, which otherwise I've never had any problems with.
When I go through the (simple) setup procedure on the PlayStation, it locates my network, then asks me for my WLAN Key Settings, giving me the options of None, WEP and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK. I try entering my iWire password into the system as a WEP key (which I think is right), then it says it's not recognised and prompts me to put in hexadecimal settings (?). I try the same thing on the WPA option, again, it doesn't work. I've also tried putting in my Airport Express password, see if that changes anything, but it doesn't
I couldn't see a topic heading on this subject heading through a search, so forgive me if it's already been answered elsewhere. Anyway, I'm stumped, so if anyone's connected successfully, could they share how they did it and what exactly a WEP key is! [Incidentally, I posted this earlier, but I believe in the wrong section]

Thanks. My Airport Express is providing the wireless network - and on my Playstation, it comes up as Robert's Wireless Network (what I've called my AE network) and I put in what I know is the correct password for that network, but it comes up as unrecognised, even though I'm sure I've put in the correct word. So, if as you say I'm doing the right thing, then maybe I'm entering the information wrong, or need to add something to my standard WEP password?

My Sony Playstation won't read games or DVDs that are inserted into it?

I have tried most of the remedies you see on the net but none have worked, can I take my playstation to a Sony Store near by or do I have to send the game out to be fixed?

i bought crowns and ESO plus on playstation store 3 weeks ago this tuesday i made 3 purchases for Elder Scrolls Online i mailed ESO and zenimax about this problem but i was going round in circles for 3 weeks untill today when i got mail from wolfgang ill post it below...now basically there saying its sony problem i dont know how to contact sony directly so this is the only other way i can think of i spent about 40euro on this so dont say i didnt purchase when i did....on PS store its says i cant buy ESO plus anymore but i can extend it and i aint doing that untill i recieve what i paid for 3 weeks ago.... Trying to get Itunes from computer to PSP (SONY PLAYSTATION PORTABLE)

I Dont know what I did wrong but about a month ago I did copy Itunes to my PSP or I thought I did. Whatever I did it took a couple hours to do. But when I looked on my PSP it says no ITunes selections available. I have to hurry and do this so I can send my computer in for repair or I would try to read and figure it out but I don't have a clue and need to do asap.
I guess I still don't get the concept of this music thing where Apple won't let you do whatever with it. IS IS POSSIBLE to download my Itunes onto anything else - in my case my PSP - or anything else like MP3.
I don't understand the whole thing of I bought the music but there is precious little I can do with it thanks to Apple.
I have a PC that the cd drive does not work on and it won't connect to the internet. I'm sending it in for repair but need my "stuff". How can I do that? Can it be done without connecting to the internet (does Apple have to approve)? I'm never buying anything from Itunes again because of their screwy idea of what it means to buy and sell something. How do you sell somebody something but keep control of it? Ripoff?
Anyway HOW DO I DO it, can I?

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post about the PS3 Bundle! zztoluca pretty much hit it on the nose, but I thought I would chime in as well.
Your bundle should come with the needed accessories to get your console up and running, including a controller. zztoluca is also correct that normally PS3 games are not region specific, but your console will be a US console as it is manufactured here. If you are planning on taking it abroad, you might run into some compatibility issues.
As with movies and Blu Rays- those are region specific, so I would check out what the region is if you're looking to play any foreign movies.

Sony store refused to give me a refund

I bought a PS3 on 4/20/2011 I haven't been able to use my product. I know of the network outage/network breach. They told me once I left the store I can no longer bring back my PS3 for a return, unless if it was broken. I find this unacceptable, I have a device that I can’t use and I no longer feel safe with any of my information being on your network now. I’ve spent the last 3 hours trying to find a place to talk to someone, but no one is willing to help me. Your customer support is a joke; no one could point me to any direction. The staff at your store locations mostly Store 21 didn’t even give me any options to want me to keep my PS3 the guy didn’t even say anything other than “ wait till Monday the PS3 network will be up” I then told him I don’t want it anymore at all. Then the manager came out and didn’t even show me any form of respect. His only words were “you can’t return it” and went about his business. Well I’m seeking legal advice at this point since Sony isn’t cooperating with their “customers”
So if any Sony staff has any direction of who to contact at Sony about this matter please fill me in. I’m meeting with a lawyer this weekend if I can’t get the information I want, and a full refund of my brand new PS3 that which I’m not able to use.
