Sony should offer "Recycling program" for Xperia 2011 users

With the last news, there is no hope to use a stable OS for Xperia 2011 users.
If we don't get JellyBean, There is no meaning to use this buggy laggy ICS.
So Sony should offer "Recycling program" for Xperia 2011 users just like Apple.
Sony should think customers.
We don't deserve to be ignored.

Is there a recycling program for the mac book batteries??

I believe that Apple will take them for you, but there are a number of other places that will recycle batteries no matter the source. Staples, for example... I just recently took them a box of 4 laptop computers, with batteries, one of them a smashed-up MacBook Pro (), and it was very easy. They recycle not just the batteries but the whole computer too. Call around to local office supply businesses and see who will take them.

When will Muse offer a program for creating email newsletters?

My client recently asked to produce an email newsletter for marketing his products. I have looked at a few You-tube videos and noted the many hazards involved with using email software.
There is a company offering software that it is claimed will navigate the hazards. As a Creative Cloud member I would feel much more confident if such a software program was offered by Muse.

Creating apps without any knowledge of code is simply impossible. Even if all you do is click together blinkiung colored boxes you have to have some basic grasp of what's going on under the hood and how your app integrates with the system, be it just to verify that it's working as expected during testing. Sorry, and I know that wil lsound rude, but it's a bit naive to believe that things are that easy. They aren't, not even for web design. Adobe may sell Muse and Edge for that, pretending you needn't worry about the code, but it just doesn't work this way....

Sorry I have excluded everyone else on this topic, but I can't seem to fathem whats going on? NO ONE I know seems to have recieved their replacement iPod Nano's and are stuck at stage 3 in the repair status 'Product Replacement Pending'. Are we going to get 6th Gen. Nano's? Or are we different from the US and Canada and will be given our original/refurbished/new Nano's back? Mine has been stood still since 22nd November, when Apple recieved my iPod

Software update for xperia m

The experience with Xperia M is really wonderful but it get exploited when we are not able to move applications to sd card. This phone is not able to store more applications and everytime on downloading new application not enough storage message appears.So, SONY must work on this problem and provide a software update for this phone with moving apps possible. Even on viewing reviews of this phone on internet this problem is mainly mentioned. So a new update should be provided for this phone as soon as possible.

i m also hoping that sony would give its best for xperia m...and to mention the app moving option..fingers crossed

Hey apple users! This is my situation, I live outside US and in my country there are no apple authorised sellers. I´m planning to visit your lovely country on january-february 2014. My questions are because i have an ipod touch, an ipod shuffle, an ipod classic and a macbook pro 13´ (all working perfectly fine). How can get into the recycling progrmam? i`ve been reading but I cannot figure out the things I should do. Do I have to take all my apple products to an apple store and the staff will guide me? I hope I can get some discount on a new macbook! Thank you very much!

Best program for remote desktop?

Coming from 10+ years of Windows, the thing I miss most is the ability to remote into my computer remotely.
Mac does come with a version of VNC, but I've never had good luck with VNC, it's usually very slow (even after adjusting colors/settings). I could use VNC on my local lan and it's still dog slow.
They also have their Commercial Remote Desktop product, but it seems geared towards IT companies who need to manage multiple macs and push updates, etc.
Is there any software out there that works similar to Remote Desktop for Windows that's not VNC? I've also tried LogMeIn and some other various online services, nothing really compares to Microsoft's Remote Desktop and how smooth it is.

Mac to Windows, use the above mentioned Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection, or CoRD
Mac to Mac use Screen Sharing, it is based on VNC, but Apple's client and server when talking to each other is better than generic VNC. If you are connecting Mac to Mac over the internet, then use the Back-to-My-Mac feature in iCloud. On the same LAN Screen Sharing is easy.
TeamViewer.com is good at remote connections across the internet, and it is cross platform.
LogMeIn is OK, especially if going from Windows via Internet Explorer as it then uses DirectX enhancements to make the client fast. Going from a Mac via Safari to a LogMeIn system is OK at best, but not all that great (TeamViewer.com is better - personal opinion).
If you have to go from Mac to Unix/Linux systems, then look at Chicken (formally Chicken of the VNC), or JollysFastVNC. These VNC clients will play nicer with non-Apple VNC servers than Apples Screen Sharing VNC client.
If you have to go from Windows to Mac, then you need a VNC client, and you may or may not experience problems with the Mac VNC server, as it does not always play nice with 3rd party VNC clients. If you have the need, and TeamViewer.com or LogMeIn.com does not satisfy your needs, then you might look at the Vine Server (aka OSXvnc) as it does play nice with 3rd party VNC clients.
There is nothing magical about the Apple Remote Desktop with respect to screen sharing. As you have figured out it is for managing a class room or office of Mac, besides that it does not offer that much for a single user (or even a family where there are only a few systems).

Sony Video Unlimited no HD playback for Xperia Z2

Hello Sony,
When will Sony Xperia Z2 owners be able to watch purchased movies through Sony Video Unlimited in HD on their devices?? Currently HD movies purchased will only play in HD on the Playstation console and SD on mobile devices, I think given that the Xperia Z2 can support huge external storage card sizes that we should be able to be given the HD option, as well as that we have a Full HD screen display.

Xperia Z1 vs. Z1s or should I just wait for Z2?

Hi everyone,
So I am thinking of getting an Xperia phone, I am a huge Android fan, never used a Sony phone before and currently having a Galaxy S4. I am attracted to Xperia's configuration and wanting to giving it a try. However, I am not sure which one should I pick. Here are couples of questions I am having in mind. Maybe you all can help me decide. Thanks a bunch!!!!
1. Between Z1 and Z1s, which one I am better off with? I know there aren't much differences between them but if I was to go with Z1, will I get LTE 4G network with Tmobile since it is an unlocked phone? I really like the varieties of color choices and I love the purple version.
2. Between Z1 and Z2, since Z2 is coming out soon, should I just wait for it? However, I am hearing rumors that the Z2 won't be launching in the US for a while. Any insider scoops?

If you live in the US,I think it will be a little more until Z2 hits the market there.But if you were to choose between Z1/Z1s,there should not be any big difference.The specs are the same,but the Z1s has more internal storage.

Sony should rebrand Xperia devices as Playstation devices to increase sales

T-Mobile just dropped the Xperia Z3, even though the Xperia Z3 has been getting rave reviews, according to the Wall Street Journal and other popular media sites. Problem is, Sony doesn't do any advertising, so it's fallen behind many lesser competitors even though in terms of specs and build quality it's arguably better than Samsung and Apple.
But Xperia has little name recognition. Meanwhile, PLAYSTATION has strong brand power in the U.S. So, Sony should just rebrand the Xperia Z3 and upcoming Z4, the Playstation Phone, at least in the U.S., if not the whole world. There are millions of Playstation fans in the US, and tens of millions in the world. These fans are bound to at least give a Playstation Phone a look.Sony wouldn't have to advertise because the Playstation name is already out there.
This could be a way that Sony could keep the Xperia brand, and its Mobile unit, alive in the U.S. and increase its presence beyond niche in the world.
What do people think? Would you like to own a Playstation Phone that has the same black metallic finish of the PS4 console?

Really dont think $5million is worth the few seconds to be honest....i realise it probably isnt much from Mr Sonys pockets but i would have rather seen it go into a more worthwhile piece of physical (magazine) advertisement. Sony got good advertising/results when they sponsored some of the Sky big name shows a while back.........just my feeble opinion

Restore old PowerBook G4 before/for Apple Recycle Program.

I have an old PowerBook G4 I need to send to Apple for its recycling program. But it's still got all of my stuff inside it I've just transferred it to my new MacBook. I need to wipe everything out before I can send it like erase the disk and restore its orginal settings. I know I should own the Lion dvd to be able to do this BUT thing is I have NO cd/dvd in the box. There's everything else as I purchased my MacBook in an Apple Store BUT there is NO such thing as a cd/dvd. Can I do the process in some other way or am I forced to bring the old computer to an Apple Store? Thank you.

You can hook up your Powerbook in target disk mode to your MacBook Pro, and erase the hard drive from there. You'll need a firewire cable to attach the two systems. Boot the Powerbook while holding the T key down. A firewire symbol will be moving around the screen, hook up the firewire cable between the two system, and your Powerbook will now appear as another disk drive to your MBP. Bring up Disk Utility on the MBP and erase the Powerbook hard drive, recommend a secure erase which writes zero's to the hard drive. If it's going to be recycled, I don't know why you need do anything else but clear the hard drive.
