Sony SmartWatch Calls

Hi,
I have a Sony SmartWatch and when I get a call I only get an option to either reject or mute the call, the option to recieve a call doesn't show up on my watch even if I connect my headset to my phone. It's strange because on the startup guide it clearly demonstrates that the call can be picked up. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note, everything else works fine on my watch apart from that one option that would come in handy for me, oh and also I am pretty sure that when I got my first call I could pick it up straight from my watch but now that option's gone for some reason, something with settings? I've heard that other people have an issue on that too. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

My reply may not help you, since I'm having the same prob as yours. Just wanted to point out, they have mentioned in their specs page that the call accept will not work on other brands.

I never saw this there before i bought the watch. Maybe they appended the Specs details. If the cheapest of bluetooth headphones can accept calls when paired with any phone, why can't this supposedly SMART device? Sony is surely trying to get an upper hand with their phones n accessories, which they are going to lose since there are so many other competitors out there. They are trying to make the same mistake as Nokia did.
One more to add... They have a pathetic support team who never cares to answer any of our queries. At least from my past experience. I used to be a die hard fan of Sony stuff. Now I'm with Samsung.

Sony smartwatch 3 could not play music using walkman

I got the sony smartwatch 3 for christmas, with the intention that i can use it to track my running and play music at the same time via bluetooth headphones. Hwever this has not been able to happen. using the walkman app i have created a play list and enabled download to wearable. my watch said syncing music. so then i open smartwatch using walkman, up pops the song and play button. i click it and its says "could not play song". but strangley i can play the song on my phone and control it with my watch ok. however i do not want to have to take my sony xperia z2 out running with me as it is heavy to run with.
has anyone had these issues? would love to hear if anyone can help me solve this issue its driving me nuts.

If you've checked that the Walkman is securely connected and you've selected the music library but still have no audio then the unit may need service. Give Sony product support a call and they can assist you with getting it set up:

Sony Z2 and Sony Smartwatch 3 - putting phone on silent blocks smartwatch notifications

Following the update to my sony z2, putting my phone on silent causes my sony smartwatch 3 to disable all notifications. I do not want this to happen! I want my phone on silent (not vibrate) but my smartwatch on vibrate and cannot figure out how to do this. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance.

My Z1 is always on silent (change sound scheme to the speaker with an X on it) and the smartwatch vibrates for calls and messages or notifications.

Getting distinguishing numbers of sony smartwatch 2 online

I lost a sony smartwatch 2 recently and found another exact same model. Is there any way I can check the serial number or Model Number of the sw2 I lost online.

Sony Smartwatch 2 custom watch faces not working

Hi, I bought the Sony Smartwatch 2 for Xmas and noticed that all third party watch faces show the wrong time and the date doesn't appear. More information on the issue below. @Thommo. Can you please explain? How can every single 3rd party watchface that worked correctly before a firmware update and stopped working immediately after a firmware update from Sony be a developer issue?
Even if it ain't "broken" and Sony devs changed the apis or whatever that is still a Sony issue. They should have had the decency to inform the hardworking devs, that add value to their proprietary platform, that a change was coming so that they could adapt. Perhaps that would have prevented some of us "loyal" Sony customers from feeling like we got slapped in the face and had our money stolen.
Do you know how insulting your response is to customers who have handed over their hard-earned money to buy these Sony products in good faith? This is not how we expect to be treated.

Sony SmartWatch 2 and Moto G compatibility?

I have got a Sony Smartwatch 2 and although I can pair with Bluetooth on Moto G (first gen) I can't set it up or use it. Running Android 4.4.4
Works fine on Nexus 7 2013 model with Android 5.0.1
Is there an easy fix for this or is it just incompatible potentially?

Sony Smartwatch 2 shows grey screen with white bar

My sony smartwatch 2 which i purchased yesterday will pair with my phone and get as far as the grey screen with a white bar near the bottom which is suppose to be the restart screen to continue the install. but it will not restart and continue. what do i need to do?

i was wondering to buy a sony smart watch. i wanted to ask that can we use a sony smartwatch 2 without a android phone. can we downlaod apps in to it without a android smart phone. and does it have a voice recoreder. and does it have a earphoen jack (3.5mm).

No, in order to download app's to use with SmartWatch2 it must be connected with an Android phone.
It doesn't have any mic or 3,5mm jack.

Sony Smartwatch 2 in USA?

I will go to the US next week, and I want to buy the new Sony Smartwatch 2. However, I just found the SW2 to be sold on the UK site. When will it be available in US Sony stores?
I'm worried because I will return to my country on Oct 18th.

Sony Smartwatch 2 twitter problem

Ok, today i have puchased my sony smartwatch 2.
I own Samsung Galaxy S4 and everything works ok apart from twitter.
I downloaded smartconnect extension for twitter. i then go into the twitter app within my Smartconnect app. I tap on twitter to sign in. it takes me to login and password. i enter that and press "authorise app". and then it goes to "loading" and it stays there for ages.....and it still doesnt connect as its constantly on "loading"..
Please help.

I have recently bought a Sony Smartwatch 2 and loved it until the paid for Whatsapp app just froze my screen, nothing works. Wont reset - completely dead.
Any ideas?

You can press and hold the power button for about 15 sec. If that doesn't help you can wait for the watch to completely discharge and then try to charge it up again and start it. I RECENTLY BOUGHT THE SONY SMARTWATCH 2 AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN THE DEVICED TURNED OFF AND THE SCREEN CRACKED OPEN ON THE RIGHT CORNER.

Sony SmartWatch 2 SW2 - how to add winget

I have Sony SmartWatch 2 and I dont know how to add widgets if it is possible please answer!?

As far as I'm aware the only widget for the SM2 would have been for the walkman however from what I have read there was an issue with pixelation and as such it was removed - Maybe this will be brought back in future updates but for now there are no widgets available.

Sony SmartWatch 2 boot loop

Hello,
my Sony SmartWatch 2 is caught in a boot-loop, when turned on, it shows first the Sony logo, then a progress-bar, as if new firmware was installing, and after it finishes, the watch restarts, and again: logo, progress-bar, restart...
I think that flashing a new firmware would solve this issue, but I cannot find the way to do it. This method was officialy supported by Sony, as this post testifies: http://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch-2/help/reset-smartwatch-2-t3006929/post58321343#post58321...
but unfortunately, it no longer works.
What can be done in this case?

Spotify on Sony Smartwatch 3 and android wear

I am strongly considering to buy a Sony Smartwatch 3 som I don't have to bring my android phone with me when I am out running. But I need Spotify on it (offline). My question, can I run Spotify offline on a Sony Smartwatch 3 ?

THis is not a problem of smartwatch. It is a problem of Spotify not providing decent app on Android Smartwatch. Google Music is already providing this service on smartwaches. I hate google and love Spotify, therefore I demand Spotify offline on Smartwatches!!!!
