Sony Tablet S SGPT11CL/S Battery's problem

Hi everybody!
Since 2 days my tablet didn't charge, it can light the red led but the percentage of battery does not advance, now my tablet doesn't has battery charge.
I try to contact Sony Chile, because i don't live in Santiago, but the phones and mails of support contact is not avalaibles, i was though to travel to Santiago, but i don't know the repair prices.
(what the price in dollars? what the price in CLP? the price is also a little difference)

Please try using the Wifi Checker app and report back what step (1-5) is failing. This will help us pinpoint where your connection issue is. It may be a problem with your router or ISP, but lets see what WiFi checker says first.

Yoga 3 Pro Battery Charging Problems

I've combined several discussions into one because there are multiple cross-overs of symptoms.
After reviewing all the posts, I see there are two types of problems discussed:
Battery charging but only to a certain percentage
Battery intermittently charging
Several people have reported success with their limited battery percentage problem by following the solutions suggested by MarinM and Vladtech.
For the intermittent charging, several people have reported that sometimes the battery charges, sometimes it doesn't. I'd like to dig into these reports. I have a few questions I'd like to ask.
When does it charge, when does it not?
Are there any patterns to this?
Does swapping electrical outlets make a difference?
Does the USB 2.0 charging port appear loose?
Does the cable show any signs of damage?
Does the AC adapter show any signs of damage?
When a second device is plugged into the extra USB port on the AC Adapter, does this impact Y3P charging?
Are there any battery error messages?

I'd like to hear more about what happened to your Yoga 3 Pro not charging.

Everytime I restart the computer now I get a open with window.
When I select Notepad and open it I get
0x54c Noswal\.android\adb_usb.******
How do i undo that.
If it helps the Article ID:474705 this says at one point
3. Open a shell prompt and enter the following command: echo "0x54c" >> $HOME/.android/adb_usb.******.
I gues that's what's creating the problem.

Try disabling the start-up items in your computer to troubleshoot the issue. Follow the steps mentioned below:
Right click on the Taskbar > Task Manager > Start-up > Select the applications > Disable.

my sony tablet whenever I go to search it says loading then after says webpage is not available or server is not responding, why?
I have to do switch off and on make it work.

What browser are you using stock ?
or chrome ?
Try drag the browser you having problems with to desktop then hover it over app info.
then clear cache and data this resets browser to stock and defaults.
Maybe fixes your issue.

The iPad should have come with a 10w charger...it is the same charger as used with the iPad 2. The charger and iPads are interchangable. If the two of you can share the parts, you take the MacBook and husband the charger you should be able to manage the charging.
If you have lost or misplaced the chargers, then it would be best to buy another to avoid conflicts, afterall, it is Valentine's Day and best to avoid conflicts

How do i use firefox as a web browser on my sony tablet s when i try it makes me choose google

i bought a Sony tablet S for my wife. She wants to access a program for work from home. I downloaded Mozilla firefox to the Sony, but when I open it, and go to type in a web address, it makes me choose Google as a search engine. How can I use Firefox on the Sony tablet? I did not see it in the list of supported devices. Please help. My wife is very frustrated, because she can only open her work program using Mozilla Firefox.

However, because of the large number of Android devices (phones and tablets), not all new devices could be tested yet, but the list will continue to be updated.
I am not sure if I understand correctly your issue. When typing something in url bar, you will have at least 4 default search engines (Google, Wikipedia, Amazon, Twitter), so you can choose any of them. If you want to install more search engines, here it is a useful link for that: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/search-engines.html (open this link using Firefox Mobile on your tablet).

2nd dead iPod Touch 4G in 2 months? Battery/charging problems!

It seems as of tonight that I will have to return my second iPod Touch 4G in the last two months. In both cases, it was an issue where the device would no longer charge, and became very hot on the top of the back panel when the device was turned on even for a few seconds (while not being plugged in). In the first case, the device seemed to be defective from the time I opened the box, which was confirmed at an Apple Store, but they asked me to ship it to Apple Repair to be checked out. Apple took a very long time to get a replacement to me, but was good about that problem, and I was happy with the replacement for the past month when all of a sudden tonight the new one would not change and became very hot.
Is this an issue that anyone else has seen? I essentially only charged it off of my laptop or a wall charger unit, but it seems like the battery essentially is shorting out. I love this device, but actually need to use a PDA-type device enough that I am questioning whether I should get a replacement or go back to my old Palm TX.

Most battery complaints complain about loss of charge. The iPod is designed to lose heat through the back as the battery discharges. This is most common when using the device a lot - like playing games. If yours will no loner charge, by all means return it to Apple.
As far as being a PDA goes, it is as good as any smart phone out there. The PDA, as you once knew it, is dead and has been for 5+ years. Take your iPod to an Apple store and insist on a replacement.

I'm trying to resolve a battery usage problem on my iPhone 5S ...
Have been working with an Apple agent via chat and I'm 99% certain it's a software problem, but I can't isolate wish software ...
So, I'm going to set up my iPhone up as new (when I did this as part of identifying where the problem is, it help its charge for 24 hours) but I have a problem with photos ...
I can see photos on my iPhone (restored from an iCloud backup) up to date, but on my iMac/iPhoto with my iPhone attached i) I can only see photos on my iPhone up to a date in the past (mid October 2014) and ii) iPhoto says all photos have already been imported ...
How can I (can I) get the more recent photos onto my iMac e.g. into a folder and then import them from there into iPhoto?
Also, why is the restore from an iCloud backup taking so long (it's been 14 hours now) when I'm pretty certain everything's now there that should be?

Just to add ... my real problem is that I can see photos on my iPhone, but in iPhoto with the iPhone connected, I can only see photos up to a certain date - weird?!!!

Is the 10.7.2 fixed battery drain problem ?

there is no information anywhere and I wonder if this problem is fixed ?

I wonder what percentage of users has that problem? Maybe I need to retest that one Unibody MacBook battery again with Snow Leopard, we always got poor life with Windows on it.
I will double check also the new 2011 MBP, unfortunately, we have no reference to what is a good battery life on that one. It is a new system. It definitely had no effect on our old white MB.
(Now I am having serious battery life problem with my 2010 Touch could that be an OS?)

Fix battery discharge problem?

I have been working with this for 2 weeks w/o success.
Lawrence Finch and others have helped.
First, I tried the battery recalibration and it seemed to work.
I could pass the " battery drain test".
That didn't last.
Now, when I redid the drain test, neither the usage time nor
standby time changed in 5 minutes - that's weird.
Next, I'll try Scotty's suggestions about Background ap refresh.
Following a suggestion, I upgraded this week to iOS 8.1
Alas, that failed, too.
After upgrading to 8.1, the problem remains.
After recharging my phone, I use for one or two calls, one or two messages.
Otherwise, it has been sitting.
During the first upgrade to 8.0.2 some weeks ago,
I added a pass code and downloaded NUMBERS, an app I use heavily on my Mac.
Could either of those be the problem?
I've searched the on-line manual for how to delete NUMBERS to no avail.
I just redid the"battery drain test" suggested weeks ago: noted standby and usage times, pushed the standby
button to put it to sleep, came back 7 mintues later. Result: no change in either standby or usage times.
Previously, I did get a result indicating a battery drain problem.
The battery is dead in 24 hours.
Should I give up and head for the Apple Store?
I'm really getting frustrated.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

The installation of some sort of virus protection or Internet security software is highly recommended if you plan to use the tablet to browse the Internet. There is no antivirus app pre-installed on the tablet, but there are several antivirus applications available from the Google Play Store.
As for the question about using the tablet as a phone, the Xperia tablets sold in the US do not have 3G service capability. The only way to make phone calls would be with a VOIP application like Skype, which is pre-installed on the Xperia tablets.

We regret that Sony Tablet is lost. Sony will cooperate with your local law enforcement agencies to our fullest extent. You should file a police complain with respect to the lost tablet issue with the local law enforcement agencies. The option to disable the tablet or send message is not available.
