Sony told me to fly from Tokyo to Australia to fix my self cracked Z3 :(

This is absolutley ridiculous.  The story: I am spending 40 days in Japan.  3 hours before my flight I wake up and find a hairline crack from the lower speaker to the edge of screen in the front glass.  Most of the screen is unresponsive to touch making the 2 DAY OLD phone useless.  The phone was in a 23 degree room sitting on a pile of clothes.  It cracked totally by itself. Of course I had zero time to get it replaced in Australia, I had to make my flight.  So now I am in Tokyo with a broken phone and I NEED a working phone.  I need to for communicating, translating, navigating and also for work (I am a web developer and make lots of mobile sites and NEED a test phone).   I was prepared for Sony to pull the warranty card, I am totally prepared  to PAY to get it fixed (even though Sony broke my phone themselves by design).  But the thing I am most pissed off about is the fact that Sony in Ginza, right on their tax free floor where they enourage people to buy Sony products and take them overseas said that I must fly back to Australia to fix my Xperia Z3.  **bleep**???!!  YOU FIX Z3'S THERE ALL THE TIME, WHY NOT MINE?.. Sony sells me a phone that breaks itself, then provies zero warrenty and then refeses to fix it even if I pay.  It seems spiteful and childish and what did I ever to do Sony?... Thanks Sony, really great.  Awesome.  I have about 10 walkmans including the $1000 NWZ, I have the $700 HPA-1 AMP, $1000 MDR ex1000 headphones, a $2000 VAIO, a Sony 42inch LCD not to mention every PlayStation and handheld ever created.  I have given Sony about 20K.  Yet the ONE time I need them to provide me with a product that works they treat me like this... I have created a case with the ACCC already for when you refuese to fix it under warranty in Australia if it comes to that and I have registered two sony xperia domain names ready to create sites to go to PR war with you (as I said I am a web developer and great at what I do).  But preferably I would like you to DO THE RIGHT THING and just fix my phone which broke itself so I can go back to enjoying my working holiday with my EXPENSIVE phone.

Did you notice this in the e-mail MSI sent you:

I don't know much about this, but you may be able to buy a comparable fan fron your local computer store - take the card in and ask the guy about it (I understand computer/graphics card fans are not very expensive).
It might be worth a try.
Of course, the card may not accept any other kind of fan - it all depends on how it attaches to the card.
If you do return the card to MSI there may be be postal charges etc. so the computer store MAY be your best, quickest, and cheapest option.
Anyway, it's up to you now - good luck and let us now how you get on.
