Sony Video Unlimited no HD playback for Xperia Z2

Hello Sony,
When will Sony Xperia Z2 owners be able to watch purchased movies through Sony Video Unlimited in HD on their devices?? Currently HD movies purchased will only play in HD on the Playstation console and SD on mobile devices, I think given that the Xperia Z2 can support huge external storage card sizes that we should be able to be given the HD option, as well as that we have a Full HD screen display.

That is a shame since HD movies bought from the Sony Video Unlimited store would look so nice on the Sony Xperia Z2 Full HD screen as oppose to paying for movies just to have a SD version available for mobile. Hope they are able to provide the HD content for Xperia Mobiles/tablets as I probably like most other Sony fans purchase content from the Sony ecosystem, I seen quite a lot of movies in Google Play that give the option to purchase HD version.

I am having issues with 2 of the 14 clips I have imported into a new project. I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. -- I have enclosed the properties of a few clips + a screen shot
The two clips giving me issue differ from the other clips the following way:

Is that true for all GoPro video formats or just some of the newer (higher resolution/frame rate) one? The GoPro has several different pre-sets and I typically like to get as much resolution as possible for my source and for highspeed subjects like sports I try to use higher framerates as well. Are you suggesting that I convert the source files to Cineform avi and then edit those resulting AVI's in CS6?

Problem with Video unlimited playback on xperia z1

I am having a problem viewing a video I purchased on Video Unlimited. I* have purchased and viewed videos on my Xperia Z1 before. The video shows up in my 'movies' folder but when I click on it, it begins loading then I receive the message 'Cannot play video'.
Any suggestions?

Did you copy it to another storage device or from another phone or did you download it directly onto this device and then try to play it?

I cannot install the component for QuickTime to convert videos done by a Sony video camera. My iMac tells me that software is designed for previous versions of Os x. Any ideas?

Ok, so after like 4 days of going through all these different issues, I figured out that several programs weren't downloading, and it was an issue with my wireless connectivity messing up the digital signatures, so if you plug in your comp to the modem and delete your temp files, it should start to work!

The command is gone because iDVD has been discontinued by Apple. After Apple discontinued iDVD they removed the iDVD burning link from iMovie. I still use iDVD sometimes, only because I have an old copy.

I don't know what RF means. When I have used HandBrake, I've used presets that apply to what I want to do, so I don't know the meaning of each individual setting. However, it appears that many of them are listed in the HandBrake User's Guide that is linked from the Help menu in the program:

Photoshop is not amateur-level software, and although it can edit a video, it cannot burn a DVD. Unfortunately, because I still use iMovie, I haven't tried anything else. You might want to read the reviews of various DVD-burning applications in the Mac App Store.

Inline video playback for Apple devices in responsive projects (Captivate 8)

Hello,
I know that Captivate itself does not support inline browser playback for videos on Apple devices, but I was wondering if there might be a way to edit the HTML of a responsive project to add inline playback tags (like the ones listed here). Or maybe some other solution that accomplishes the same goal?
The context is that I will be developing 45 minute course (heavily animated) that my organization wants to be mobile-optimized. I'm developing all animations in Flash and converting to mp4, and then inserting those into my Captivate project. There will be about 100 slides worth of videos, which would be unbelievably tedious for the user if they had to keep toggling back and forth between their browser and the native Apple video player. For the record, I've already experimented with converting these into HTML5 content and inserting them into Captivate as web objects, but that's no good since the <iframe> tag forces those objects to the top, regardless of my stack order in the timeline.
So any creative solutions?

That's unfortunately not really correct. I don't care about user navigation from slide to slide--I actually like the fact that the user has to use the next and back buttons and I would actually prefer that the next video didn't auto-play when the previous one finished.
Let me back up for a second. When you go to YouTube on your iPhone, you can't just push play on a video and watch it in the browser. The video loads into an iOS shell and you often have to exit out of that shell in order to get back toYouTube. In my course, I don't want the videos to play in that shell (i.e. a new window, which is what's happening now). I want it to play directly in the browser. This is indeed possible outside of Captivate (per the link I included in my initial question). I want to know how to add that functionality to a responsive project in Captivate.
Does that make more sense?

Sony has put in a position that the camera was connected with their software called PlayMemories Home . This then allows you to import movies and photos on the computer and then use them in different ways. However, when the camera is connected to the mac and I said Mass Storage USB Connected , then you execute this program I told you about two seconds later , however returns an error message that is: Connect the device to your computer or multimedia support . I do not understand .

Update: The iBook can play any 480p video and higher if I encode them with DivX and in AVI format. But of course this is not compatible with my iPhone 4. At least I can shrink my library now and get away from the full MPEG-2s. I don't get why I can't use Apple's h264 though. There has to be a setting I am missing. The sample Apple h264 videos from the days of Tiger worked flawlessly on my iBook when it was new so the CPU must be capable of decoding it. I really can't understand this.
Also, since I made my videos in English for my family, I had to create soft subtitles for my wife's Chinese family, and I can't get players like QT with perian or MPlayerX to sync them properly to an AVI encoded with DivX, they only sync well with the iPhone 4 m4v/mp4 formatted files I made. This is a real pickle.
So now I may need three or four copies of each video, LOL. I need to hardcode the subtitles if I want to use AVI to playback on older machines, and keep the mp4 file for the iDevices too, while keeping higher quality h264 videos for my American relatives...
If h264 is compatible with my iBook, what is the proper encoding settings? Must I dramatically lower the settings or frame rate? I can settle on 2 copies of each video that way. One iBook/G4/eMac compatible video that syncs correctly with my srt soft subs, and another version that works well with my iPhone 4 and iPad.
All in all, I will end up with more than 3 or 4 version of each video. On my late G5 dual core I have the full 720-1080p uncompressed master files. On my i5 iMac I have the h264 compressed versions for distribution, and lower versions for my iDevices. Now I need to keep either full MPEG-2 files for the iBook to play, or convert to older formats like DivX AVI for our family's legacy machines. I am running out of hard disk space quick now, LOL.
Is there an easier way?

Hi can anyone help as to why i am unable to download from video unlimited at any kind of reasonable rate of speed?. Also in order to fully download a movie I have to keep turning on and off WI-if. This didn't happen the first couple of times, perhaps I HAVE CHANGED SETTINGS WITHOUT KNOWING. CAN. ANY HELP WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED.

Have you tried this with a secondary Wi-Fi connection to narrow down the cause of the problem?

Hi idk if this is right forum to post it in but i got a 200SEK gift card which i redem to my account on sony music unlimited but when i'm gona apply for 30 days trial it asks for credit card so i give my visa card number in and so but it just says that my card number is not vaild but i have typed it right 5 times and it throws error anyway so if this is not support place for it then where can i e-mail or submit this to right area since i cannot find any e-mail support or any ticket area at sony music unlimited site

Petition - app2sd for Xperia Z1

We need APP2SD
This is a petition to show SONY the need of "app2sd" functionality for the Xperia Z1 and other phones.
I don't want to root my phone to get this functionality and I think that SONY can manage to program this extra piece of code. I believe in your brilliance guys!
SONY, please invest your programming resources to resolve this fundamental issue instead of programming other less useful stuff.

I'm in on this one, I have just posted something similar in the "Welcome the Z1 Compact" bascially saying that it's superb but the z2 compact needs a minimum of 32GB internal storage.
with all the other bells and whistles these phones have in 2014 since Google stopped the use of external memory for apps12GB is not enough, 2 decent games and you've done 25% of your memeory. Google play magazines are pretty big and I tend to watch iPlayer and 4OD stuff on my phone which are usually half a GB a time if not more.
I travel a lot so would like to have more internal storage so I can take all my games, magazines, books and media that comes in Apps that don't allow use of ext storage.
(I have a about 45GB of my 64GB ext SD filled with Music and Videos etc that's 19GB of space I could use for games)

Are you talking about your computer which has no firewire port ? If YES you can have one of two options:
(a) Use FCI - Firewire card like this (preferred)
