Sony Walkman App not signing in

Hi I bought a Z2 last week and its working smooth however I am unable to sign in into thr walkman app. It keeps saying could not sign in. I have removed SEN account and then logged back in and done everything I can but atill the same issue. Can someone advise whats the best I can do?

a few days ago, my Music Unlimited Service stopped working on my Sony Z1 Compact. I had the latest Walkman App Update installed. I just couldn't sign in anymore. It was very annoying - I am paying for this service.
Well, here is how I solved the problem and I please you SONY, please help your people! We really love your products but you have to keep on working hard and get things done! FIRST: Improve the conversation with us, do inform us about issues !!! SECOND: Better test your software and improve your quality management !!!
ok:
- Go to settings and apps, choose Walkman.
- Stop the App. Uninstall all updates and re-activate the shipped version
- Restart your phone
The old app is without the sidebar and all these bells and whistles but it is working at least ...

  • Apps not "signed"

    Most of my apps (angry birds/lick of the day ect) will not install after updating my iphone 3GS. They also will not install on my iphone 3G which uses the older iOS. Both give the same reason "apps not signed" Everything is up to date iTunes/PC ect. Any ideas?

    I've never seen that error before but here are a few ideas that came to mind...
    Did you buy those apps or did you acquire them through something like Installous after jailbreaking your phone?
    Have you signed in with the same Apple ID that you used to download those apps and is iTunes authorized?
    Are you using the latest version of iTunes?

  • Walkman app not showing my downloaded podcast mp3 and m4a files

    Hi all,
    Hope someone can help me with an Issue on my Z3 Compact running Lollipop 5.0.2 firmware.
    I have a Music folder on my SDCard which contains all my music files in subfolders and all these files appear in the Walkman app just fine.
    I also have two folders called 'Podcasts' - one on the internal storage and one on the SDCard which contain mp3 and m4a files which I have downloaded using 3rd party apps.
    I would like to listen to these podcast files using the Walkman app - but they will not appear in Walkman - even if I try the Folders options.but it still will not show either of the Podcast folders.
    The weird thing is it lists voices and sounds / voices rom two different SatNav folders which are stored on the SDCard - but not the podcast folders!!
    It even lists a folder of foreign language audio mp3 files - but not the podcast files.
    The podcast files appear fine in PowerAmp whic even shows the tags and descriptions etc....So, why not Walkman?
    I even tried unmounting and re-mounting the SDCard to see if it would rescan - but still nothing.
    Any ideas?

    I'm getting this message when trying to sign into PSN via the Playstation App
    An error has occurred.

    and also this error with the PS4 remote play app
    An error has occurred.

    Please help, i bought this phone for remote play!!

    I checked the IMEI you have registered with us and from what i can see, you have unlocked the bootloader in your phone? As i understand it, these services will not work without the DRM-keys that are permanently deleted when you unlock the bootloader.

  • Sony/Accuweather App not working on z3

    hii, yesterday i got the xperia z3 and i noticed that the accuweather app does not work, and when i try to add my location it says location not found i forced stop and cleared data but still the widget isn't working.

    As Mitz_Shpitz says, this is an issue that may happen when the phone is set to certain languages. We have started rolling out a new version (2.0.A.0.74) of the app that fixes this. You can update the app from Settings -> About phone -> Software update

  • Sony Walkman and Android Wear

    Hello,
    I am using a Xperia Z3 with the latest firmware together with a LG G Watch. There is a bug with the Sony Walkman app on the watch when the phone is connected via bluetooth to the watch. If I turn off the bluetooth connection (when I turn off the phone for example) the watch will pop up a Sony Walkman message saying that it can not find any music to play. If I sync a play list to the watch, when I turn off the bluetooth connection the watch launches the Sony Walkman app.

    There are two options, one lets you choose which music player to launch on the phone and this works fine when you set it to Walkman. The other is an app that is listed in the watches app collection and lets you play music straight from the watch over bluetooth headsets. Its this app that trys to launch every time I disconnect the watch from the phone.
    In any case I just blocked the Walkman notifications on the watch as I don't use it to play music directly from the watch and that basically solves the problem. But if I did want to play music from the watch and not just control the phone's Walkman app it would be annoying to have this notification pop up all the time.

    Why the Sony Walkman proprietary app on Sony android phones does not support podcasts?
    I am hearing podcasts on a daily basis and as I am unable to manage them via Walkman app, I am forced to use different app... What a pity...
    So, guys, why are we still missing this important music feature in your Sony Walkman app?

    The phone does support podcasts but to add one you need to open the Movies app instead. Open Movies and then swipe from left or tap the movies icon at the top left and then select Podcasts. Downloaded podcasts using this function will be displayed in the Walkman app.

    Litting bit slow in sound but that is overcome by but new earphones not of sony ....

  • Walkman app feedback

    i like the interface of sony walkman app but on ther other side i hate it for playing recording files or other audio files.
    possible solutions are.
    1) Option to add music folder manually for the first time and walkman can keep scanning for further changes in that folder.
    2) Selective removal of media files, i don't want to play in random playlist.
    share ur opinion plz

    Android has a media scanner that scans all folders for media like music, pictures and videos and builds a database that is then using by music players like Walkman. If you have folders that you don't want to be scanned by the media scanner you can create a file in that folder called ".nomedia" using a file manager or a computer.
    If the folder has already been scanned you may also have to clear data for Media Storage under Settings -> Apps -> All and restart the phone. The media scanner will then skip all folder that has a .nomedia file in them.

  • Phone gets hot when listening to music with Walkman app

    during the last days I have recognized that my Xperia Z3 Compact gets very warm (almost hot) when I am listening to music using the Sony Walkman app. 
    I had this issue also with the Xperia Z1 Compact earlier and had to factory reset it to fix it.
    I only face this when I listen to music. do anyone else also have this issue?

    All phones get warmer when using high cpu use apps but if the phones gets to warm then like a Pc etc it will give a warning and auto shut down to protect itself - However if you think it's to hot and you are concerned then I'd advise that you either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care to have your device inspected http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

  • Walkman app sign in loop

    My walkman app is working fine but when a track is playing I see the message, Signing in - Please Wait. It shows then goes off, then appears and off again. Has a continuous loop and only way to stop it is to press the HOME button.

  • Sign-In Problem with Sony Reader app on Samsung Tablet

    Was using the Sony Reader app on a Samsung tablet, then signed out.  Because of doing that could not access books anymore.
    Attempted to sign in and it didn't recognize my sign-in (Sony Reader Store continues to).
    Got an Adobe Sign-in screen and it doesn't recognize my sign-in so used their link to reset my password, which I did.
    Reader app on tablet doesn't recognize new or old password.  What do I have to do to be able to read books again?

    Have you tried logging into http://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/ with the same account and accepting the terms and conditions there?

  • Can't share music via Facebook from Sony Music app (or Walkman previously)

    Hi all, I can't seem to share music via Facebook from the Music (or previously Walkman) app with my Xperia Z1 phone (running on updated Androif Lollipop but was a problem before update as well).
    I get the option to share via lots of other apps but Facebook (and the icon for it are missing).
    Any ideas how to solve?

    As far as I know, Facebook app does not allow sharing music till now, that's why there is no Facebook icon is music share.

  • Problem with Maverics: Can not sign in to App Store, Mac slow, Aperture not working

    I was using a Mac Book Pro 15" supplied with Snow Leopard. I have created an ID and used it to purchase apps such as Aperture. After buying an iPhone 5S, I wanted to share the contacts and was suggested by the seller to upgarde the Snow Leoprad to Maverics and use the iCloud. After installing the Maverics following happened:
    - I can use iCloud and share the contacts, mission completed
    - the Mac is running slow, really slow (as an old pc)
    - Aperture can not be used, a major problem since all of my photos are stroed on an external disk via Apeture
    - I can not sign in to App Sore to refresh my purchases and see if there is an update for Aperture
    - I tried to sign in by clicking the forgot password and entering my ID (e-mail address) but have received no mail - total mistery
    - I also see that the HP 7610 printer icon is not active and assume that will also be a problem
    What should I do? I need a fast running computer. I need Aperture, all of my private and business photos are accessible only via Aperture. I can sign in with the same ID/password on an iPad. The problem is obviously due to installing the Maverics. I do not have a time machine/capsule.
    Urgently need support, please help.

    You're using an account with parental control active?
    Do other logins with your Apple ID work? E.g. icloud.com, iTunes, ...?
    Correction: I did correctly enter my Apple ID and its password. And there are no parental controls.
    But I found a fix: I went to the Featured page and it showed me as logged in. I clicked the Account link and in the pop-up for that entered my Apple ID and Password. Now I can once again see my Purchases.
    It would seem to have been some undue delay or glitch at the Apple server end.

  • Could Not Sign In to App Store from iPad

    I am unable to sign into the App Store from both my iPad Air and my iPhone 4.
    When I enter the password, the following error message appears:
    Could Not Sign In
    FATAL::Unable to process your request. Please try again.
    I have reset the password via the Apple web site and can sign in to the web site with no issues. (evidnced by ability to post this).
    I have reset the iPad and no change.
    Get same error in iTunes Store.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Reset the device:
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    You will have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.
