Sony XCL C30c with the NI 1429 FrameGrabber

Does the NI 1429 FrameGrabber work together with Sony XCL C30c ?
Unfortunately there is no preconfiguration file for the camera and in the CameraLink File Generator
we get no response from the camera using for example serial communication.
We do not get any sign of life from the camera. We have plenty of them so we assume not all are defect.
Also the cameras are capable of PoCL but in combination with the NI1429 we use a working external
power supply.

PS: The FrameGrabber works since we can connect to a Basler 504k.

the Camera File Generator takes your cameras specifications and
translates them into a file-format which the NI-IMAQ driver understands.
Did you type in all the specification data?
A good starting point might be the definition for a camera of the same brand and series.
The SONY XCL-5000.icd could be the right one as this is the latest file from the XCL-series.
If this file doesn't work please carefully observe the differences between the cameras and
change the settings accordingly.

Calibrate Sony SDM-HS95P with DVI-D

I just hooked up these 2 montitors, and the colors are pretty bad. Sony says that with the DVI-D interface there is no way to calibrate on screen, and the monitors have no calibration buttons. I tried to use the Mac calibrate, but it simpley says "turn up the contrast on your monitor", well, there is no way to do this Sony says.... So, I am either missing something, or I guess I am looking to purchase a calibration program. Can someone guide me? Thanks in advance.

Sony Screen Protector For The Experia Z1C Model D5503

It was nice when I received my new Sony smartphone that there was a free screen protector inside, it was the correct one too as it had the two cutouts on the left and right side, the left for the ear proximity sensor and on the right for the camera, I mention this because there are many available online that say they are compatible for this model, however I would prefer them to have the proper cutouts, however they say that the ear proximity still works even though some of the protector covers over it with these ones online, but I prefer to have it cutout to be safe.
Anyway, my question is where can these protectors that Sony send out with the phone be purchased? I have looked online but all I see are the ones I mentioned earlier with one cutout only.

if its anything like my Sony, theres a button top left corner that upon each press i get an audible bleep and the AV inputs come up on screen, i then cycle down to whichever input i wish to select!
in case your remote is different, the button on my remote has a square with a slightly smaller square just overlapping the first square.

Do you mean that the iPod mini won't fit on the "dock" because of shape (of the iPod), or is the docking connection a different type from the "30-pin" dock connector on the iPod mini?

Close and restart Photoshop if you have not already done so.
In Photoshop, go to the Help - About Plug-in... menu then choose Camera Raw. What version does it say there?

I have a Mac book pro ( 7,1 version ) bought in the US and want to see some videos, pictures and movies on a Sony TV with HDMI connection (in Europe).
When connecting both the pc and the tv, I get on the tv the opening screen of a mac book pro but although a movie is playing on the pc it does not show on the tv. Do I have to change something in the displays on the system preference screen ?

By 'opening screen' do you mean the spiral galaxy desktop? If so, then, with the TV connected to the MBP, open System Preferences ➜ Displays ➜ Arrangement. You will see an image of two screens. At the top of the smaller of the two screens in the image is a small bar, this represents the menu bar at the top of your display. Drag this small bar to the top of the larger of the two screens in the image. The menu bar and dock will now appear on the TV which is now the primary display and all the action will take place there.

When you have kernel panics, the pertinent information is in the panic report.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select

Lightroom has no problem reading DNG files. Whether the edits you have done to the DNGs you have originally edited in Photoshop Elements 10 I'm not sure. ACR edits made to DNGs are saved in the DNG file itself, as apposed to a XMP sidecar file, so LR should see those edits. At the worst you will get an exclamation mark in the upper right hand corner of the imported DNGs and clicking on that exclamation mark you will get a dialog box asking you to either import settings from disk or overwrite settings. you would select import settings from disk.

Problems with the Headset SBH80 of Sony

With OS X Yosemite ver 10.10.3 (14D131) The Headset SBH80 of Sony distorted like speakers being played too loudly or blown out, but this distortion is present at all volumes levels with the headset. The problem is less present when someone speaks softly.
Someone has the same problem?
In the same form this Headset has problem with other devices of Apple like iPhone 6 iOS8.3 and Mini iPad2.
When I connected it with other devices different of Apple sound great without problem. Only with Apple's devices has the problem, why?

1) factory reset
if that does not help
2) format the mass memory.
before doing factory reset, please do back up your of your personal data to a memory card or Ovi suite.

Sony cyber shot, getting the memory due to work with the iPad camera kit

Has anyone been able to find this SD card / memory stick adapter? I checked with Amazon and can not locate.
My issue is Im leaving for England on Saturday so I have a week to try to find something that will allow my Sony DSC-HX5V 10.2MP CMOS Digital Camera with 10x Wide Angle Zoom with Optical Steady Shot Image Stabilization and 3.0 inch LCD that uses a memory stick pro due to work with my camera connection kit. I have a new samsung digital camera that has SD card which I can use that with the camera connection kit BUT when I plug into USB the camera will not work\
I am basically afraid to purchase this camera and it does not work through USB or the card reader, even if it does work through the USB interface which would be awesome I would still like for it to work with the card reader in case I misplace the capable etc.
Any help is appreciated. Last question also is the camera I am getting is the only digital camera besides the higher end video cameras that have GPS of which I own one but its a lot bulkier to carry which is why I am buying this one. Does anyone have any clue if the GPS data will transfer? I know Apple iPhoto has GPS places recognition, I just dont know if Sony's propierty nature will make it uncompatible b/c they come with a software program to view the gps pictures.

Did you purchase the Sony DSC-HX5V? I am looking at buying that same camera because of the GPS function, as well as the fact that it can take the SD card as well as the Sony memory stick.
I am a bit confused by your question though? Are you saying that when you use the SD card, and you connect the camera to your macbook, the camera doesn't work?
As for the GPS stuff, I am hoping you have found an answer to this quesion, as it will be key in determining whether or not I buy the Sony or instead the Panasonic Lumix ZS7, which also has GPS tagging (I hear the sony has more accurate data).

Is sony correcting the issues with the PS4 controllers. The material for the analog sticks need to be changed.

I would like to get a ps4 but both my friends ps4 controllers analog sticks are tearing. I have used both the ps4 controller and xbox1 controller, I like both but prefer the lighter feel of the xbox1 analog sticks they are more comfortable and durable. I dont want to buy a xbox1 but if sony does not correct this issue it will sway my decision. I really like the additonal power the ps4 offers but the controller is a major concern. When microsoft came out with the 360 it had reliability issues, microsoft instead of fixing the problem had consumers send there 360's in for repair. They would not admit they made a mistake with the design of the system and the so called repair was temporary for may consumers as it would just overheat again and you would experience the same red ring of death. My 360 broke 3 times which made me lose all faith in microsoft as a company. The decieved consumers instead of correcting the issue. I hope Sony learns from their mistakes. Dont send consumers the same flawed controllers, admit there was a production mistake and fix it!!! If you guys change the material and correct the issue please email me, if it is corrected I will be a playstation owner if not I guess I will have to go with microsoft. I would also love to see analog sticks with less resistance, closer to the xbox1 sticks.
