Sony xperia m c1904 (single sim)imei null

I rooted my sony xperia m c1904 and i upgraded it to android kitkat (4.4.4 )
and then by mistake i flashed a wrong boot.img on my phone using flashtool....
my phone got bricked . I restored the back up ( of kitkat 4.4.4).
It's working now . But it's not detecting the sim card ..I checked IMEI no. Then it's showing null.
Service menu , engineer mode are also not working .
Please help.

Sony Xperia M no signal - SIM works in other phones

Hello.
I have recently had problems with my Sony Xperia M phone.
I recently dropped the phone and the screen had cracked and so i issued for a fix at a local shop and so i had to remove my sim card, sd card etc. As the phone returned to me i have not been able to have a signal however i get a very slight signal 5 minutes away from my home which makes no sense as i used to get full bar signal strength in my home before i took it in to get fixed.
I have searched for mobile network operators at home and it will not pick up any at all.
I have tried a factory reset; this did not work.
I have tried the Sony 'Update Service' and have also updated my phone to the latest version but nothing is working at all which is leaving me somewhat confused.
Heres what it says when i go to 'about phone':
Network: no service
Signal strength: 0dBm 99asu
Mobile network type: unknown
Service state: out of service
Roaming: not roaming
Mobile network state: disconnected
My phone number: unknown
IMEI: removed by alexdon - no private info on the forum

Also i have tried my sim card in my friends and parents phones and it works perfectly just like it used to. Also have tried their sim cards in my phone and they could not get a signal at all (the people were on my network also).
I'd appreciate help as i'm getting very frustrated.

Xperia M C1904 Lockdown (Android 4.3)

Ok, straight to the point (Again).I bought a Sony Xperia M C1904 a year ago around February... It was working just well, I mean, I loved my phone, a week ago I was using it normally and every single process in my phone popped out the "X thing has stopped working", my phone rebooted and poof, encripted phone, I dont know what kind of joke is that but it aint funny at all. I tried using Sony Flashtool "Emma", useless it only detected my phone to tell me it was locked, then I go to Sony Bootloader Unlock Method, useless, I went to the company I bought the phone from (Movistar) they told me "This is not our problem", so Im guessing taking my phone to a Sony Support Center would be useless as well. Now everytime I turn on my phone I have to face that thing "Introduzca la contraseña para descifrar el almacenamiento", its on spanish, translate it, I NEVER used any password or PIN to lock my phone, I have no password, nor a PIN, never configured that, they told me my phone was reported as stolen, I have the ticket and the box.Simple, just tell me how to escape from that Lockdown and make my phone usable again so I can at least sell it.Flashing, no way, wont work.SDK, useless.Guarantee, expired.My Xperia (TM dont get mad), never configured it.Recovery mode, I updated my phone to Android 4.3 using PC Companion, had I know it will mess up the recovery mode, well, Im trying not to get mad here, but having an useless brick for which I paid a lot of money, is annoying and Im sure Im not the only one with this problem, I´ve been using Sony phones for a long time, all of them had their own unexplainable problems, but at least the other ones I could repair myself... Just tell me what do I need to do to make my phone usable again, if that phone has no repair, cause I dont remember setting up any password or PIN, just tell my straight forward "Mate, your phone is doomed", so I can toss it away and buy a new phone, a Sony one, cause I love your freaking phones, no sarcasm, just tell me so I start saving money again. I found out that if you typed a weird number a menu popped out in which you could hard reset the phone... I never repaired it with the PCC, it always showed a message "Unable to downoad your device software... Please check your connection and try again", and I click retry and retry and retry, it doesnt move forward, so all options are useless, and at last Safe Mode, even if I reboot it on Safe Mode, it shows me the same."Nothing can be done", "Replace the motherboard"... "Your phone is doomed" -_- Then I´ll toss it away tomorrow, I cant even sell it, well, thanks mate, I´ll start saving for a new one.

Sony Xperia Z1 Water Resistivity false advertising and poor service from service center

I have bought Sony Xperia Z1 from eBay on 31 October 2013. I have been using this phone for nearly a year. The phone was good in performance but comes to water resistivity it will resist water for a few months but after few months even though the card slot and all flops are closed, the water gets in.I have faced this on 7th September when i was about to take a photo in pool, the water gets in and the phone was dead. And i took it to the service center ( Repair and Return Technology (I) Pvt Ltd) Egmore, chennai, on 9th September 2014. On 15th September i got a call that i have to pay nearly 20000 to rectify the phone. Then i called the service center and also sent mail to [email protected] and said that i was not satisfied with the reply. Then few days i again got mail like below

We had received your Sony XPERIA Z1 at our Authorized Service Centre – M/S Repair and Return Technology, Egmore, vide Work Order No.W114090906449 with the nature of complaint “Cannot Power On”.

They just mention the flags turn red and so the water has got in. They were unable to explain how the water got in. I have seen several forums that many users facing this kind of issues even all the flaps are closed. I was completely stressed and depressed to hear this. I halfheartedly asked the service center to do the service on 1 October 2014. Today's date is 11 October 2014 but still now i haven't heard any update from SONY. When i asked SONY customer care or service center, they dont even know the status of the product, they saying that the phone has been given for service to next level, I have to wait for few days, But i have been waiting for 1 month. I was completely fed up with Sony Service as they are not even called me once regarding this. I have to call each and every time and not even get proper reply. Its very irritating.
If SONY is viewing this do necessary action or else you'll lose a premium customer and more customers in future.
Even though i got the phone how can i use this phone in water ? I completely lost trust in SONY and never buy any SONY product again. I'll go for Micromax next time.

Beware of buying Xperia Water resistant products as it may not guarantee waterproof and they don't even give warranty if your phone got water.

I have had the same problem I have wrote to customer services and I keeping the same reply, that the phone has to be less than 1.5 meters, less than half an hour....... blah blah blah.
My phone failed in water and I had met all the conditions but they keep fobbing me off I have asked why they advertise the phone as waterproof when obviously its not. The last reply I got was well it might not be waterproof.
Absolute rubbish the phone and the customer service. and dont get me started on the smartwatch that failed in water as well it never worked I threw it in the bin.
Aviod sony products absolute junk I say.

Sony xperia L crashes after software update to 15.3.A.0.26

I updated my Sony Xperia L C2104 yesterday to 15.3.A.0.26. Now, since today evening after an update through Google play store, Google + and chrome keep crashing and forcing the phone to reboot. The phone doesn't actually reboot completely but the screen blacks out for a couple of seconds and then it shows the loading screen, like when we switch on the phone, and then the screen turns on again in lock screen mode.
I tried to reboot the phone in safe mode, but that too is not happening. I also removed the battery,sim card and the memory card and put it back in again but the phone still is facing the same problem.

How to check if Sony Xperia Z2 is genuine?

i have just recently purchase a sony xperia z2 and a sony 7000mah power bank.
so my questions is how to check if the mentioned devices are genuine? e.g. by serial code, by certain features? (there are some products that provide a site where you enter your product serial and they will check for genuine)

If your phone works correctly, develops no faults and the screen doesn't spontaneously crack then I'm afraid your phone is not a genuine Sony.

My Sony Xperia Z1 was Entered by water!

I tested my xperia Z1 to be submerge in a bucket of water for about 10-20 secs with all flaps closed, after putting it out of the water it was initially fine and working well, then after 5mins I have noticed that my phone is not turning On, and I also noticed that there are some water vapor in the camera lens and also in led flash. What should I do? could you please help me out?

Sony Xperia Z1, Music Unlimited and Throw

Hello,
I have a Sony Xperia Z1, a Sony Bravia KDL-40EX721 and a Sony Bluray BDV-N590.
While using the Walkman app with Music Unlimited, i'm trying to use Throw to DLNA the music to my TV or Bluray and it's not working. It says something like "Error could not show media contents".
If the Throw option is available in the Walkman app with Music Unlimited, why is it not working? Do i have to configure anything?
Throw works with the contents stored on my phone (images, music and videos) but it doesn't with the Music Unlimited audio.
Is there a fix for this?

I have the Sony Xperia Z3 and I have service through my provider yet I am not able to use any if the services such as texting,Internet or the ability to make or receive calls? It did it before but worked after a day but it's been almost a week.

Sony Xperia Z touch screen not responding

My Sony Xperia Z has been giving me problems ever since I bought it in May 2013.By October 2013 I had to send this phone for repair twice.In the last 9 months though it was doing well and there no problem till today afternoon when I found out that the touch screen was not responding.The phone was on charge when this happened and there was a heavy downpour though not a single drop fell on the phone.I tried using the power button to switch it on and off but could not use the shut the phone option because the touch screen wont respond.I have rebooted the phone and switched it off using the power+volume up button multiple times since then.After about an hour when I was trying for the umpteenth time to key in my password I saw that some numbers were randomly getting punched in.After several attempts the phone's touch screen did respond and I was able to make a call but post that the touch screen went back to the not responding mode.Another hour later and exposing the phone to the sun beating down while i was in a car helped and this time I was able to see all my msgs and mails.My elation was shortlived as the phone went back to the touch screen not responding mode.I had a short trip to make by air and I switched off my phone and put it on charge using the USB connected to my laptop.When I switched on after landing I found that I was able to key in my password but after that the phone again got stuck.Since this last occurence about two hours ago the touchscreen has not responded.It is frustrating to see that msgs are coming,people are calling and I can see the numbers,mails are getting downloaded but I cant do anything about it.Right now the phone is submerged in a jar of rice in the hope that the mositure might dry out and it will be back to normal again.Please suggest whether using the hair dryer would help or not.I must repeat the phone has not got wet.I also removed the screen guard on both the ends and the back cover to allow the phone to breath.Waiting anxiously for help
