I upgraded my phone yesterday and after that it started connectivity issues with Wi-fi,
it got disconnect in few seconds and due to that its consuming too much power
also its showing power consumption due to Android System more then 50%

My flash player continues to buffer every few seconds after it starts

My flash player continues to buffer every few seconds after it starts, it plays then buffers, plays then buffers. It worked just fine up until a few months ago. I’m not sure what changed. I am running windows vista. I checked the add-ons and the flash player is enabled. I tried turning off the popup blocker. I just downloaded the latest version and no change.

This is the run without permision list. I wish I knew how to get rid of some of this stuff . Just talked to a friend of mine that has the same problem. I also just ran a speed test on youtube and it shows that streaming HTTP is running at an average of less than 100 kbps.

Aspire V3-571 Bluetooth disconnects a few seconds after connecting

I have paired a plantronics M70 bluetooth to the laptop. It connects but after a few seconds becomes unconnected but stays paired. I am running Windows 8.1. I have re-installed all the bluetooth drivers.

I have the same problem here. No replies from acer yet. Perhaps we need the drivers.My bluetooth started working after I reset my computer but stopped working again a month later.Help please.

Crashdump every 30 seconds after update

I did the latest software update last night and now my computer pauses and switches to the finder about every thirty seconds and all the icons on the desktop disappear and come back quickly. I checked the activity monitor and "crashdump" pops up when this happens and then disappears quickly too. Anyone know what this might be?

Ipod Nano 4GB Keeps connecting and disconnecting every few seconds

when i plug the nano into a usb port... it shows up everywhere and then disconnects and then reconnects and keeps doing this, therefore i can update my ipod?
Also... the ipod works fine on the xp pc next door so i have to assume its the USB on my pc.

My 80 GB iPod Classic is having the same problem -- when I connect it to the computer, it syncs as it should and then when I attempt to disconnect it, it starts syncing again. It does this no matter whether I disconnect through iTunes or through the desktop (i.e., dragging the iPod icon to the dock to eject it). This never happened before a software update last week. I forget the update but it was something to do with the Intel processor, I think. My date and time was also screwed up but when I woke up this morning that was finally ok.

HP Split X2 randomly hangs every few seconds after start-up

My HP Split X2 running Windows 8.1 will sometimes, not all of the time, act very very slowly during shut down and boot up. The spinning dots spin very slowly, and the lock screen and login screens are very laggy. Then, after about 15 minutes, everything goes back to normal performance.
And, this problem doesn't even happen all of the time. Yesterday, for almost the entire day, it acted this way. Then, at night, it was normal, and is normal as I type this. What's more is that when it happens, I watch the Task Manager, and CPU, Memory, and Disk are all normal. No spikes in usage. I have also confirmed that no automatic maintenance is running during this time (this was the case a few times in the past so I eliminated this as a root cause). I also ran full system diagnostics (Esc and then F2 during boot) and no problems were found.
Anyone else had this random, not always reproducible problem? How can I troubleshoot it if it doesn't happen all of the time?

When it is having its episode the mouse pad is totally random and you cannot select anything although the touch screen i less so but I cannot select my password via picture in win 8.1.
Again i have scanned for malware and virus, the machine has all the latest from microsoft and HP.
My ralink wireless card is next to useless if i am more than 2 meters from the router is this a common fault also?

Suddenly -20 errors, disconnecting a few seconds after establishing video

So,
similar issues are all over the board, but after reading through them 'all' I wanted to see if someone specifically has seen this:
I have always had fine video iChat with several people. My bandwidth is fine and high, I am on 10.5.1.
For the last 2 weeks - without anything changing on my end (that I know of.. I with with Roadrunner/Time Warner in SoCal) when I estabish a vid call, or get called, the call starts, goes for about 1-3 seconds, then drops (no data received for 10 seconds). The error in the console shows -20. No port jumping (or wrong ports expected) that I can see.
Bandwidth on both ends looks fine, right until both video and audio drop to orange and then nil in connection doctor.
Did RR change anything ? I am using the 1.5Mbits setting for Qtime, and no throttling in iChat (same as always)...
ANy suggestion, or feedback from people in my area appreciated

For the heck of it, try throttling back  Sys Prefs QT Streaming Speed from 1.5 to 768 or 512 or 384 or even 256, just to see if that does anything for you.
I have had problems like this before (call sets up OK, momentary video then disconnect) when on business travel and trying to ichat from a hotel, and throttling the QT Streaming way back let me successfully set up a connection.

   I use Grapher 2D 3D on my early 2006 iMac, but I tried it on my wife's Macbook Pro with Lion then Mountain Lion : no problem with Grapher 2.1 3D gcx files, Grapher 2.3 loves them !

.mp4 clips blip every few seconds after importing

I have some .mp4 clips that play correctly when I use Quicktime to open them directly but after I import them, they play back in a jumpy manner--blipping at regular intervals.
--I've tried converting to .mov and .dv, but they still blip when I import them to iMovie.
--I've tried importing to iMovie 9 with the same results.
--In this post, I was going to share a link to one of these clips via iWeb, but there, it played smoothly, without the blips.

Yes! I imported the entire BPAV in a file on my scratch drive under the specific project folder. From there I am using the media browser in CS4 to either preview the clip or import it into the project. The audio drops out whether it is previewed or imported. And as I have said, this behavior is not consistant. I have yet to find a repeatable cure.
Also as I have said if I import the offending clip, from the same folder, into Soundbooth using Bridge the waveform is fine. If I import the same clip into Soundbooth from the Premiere timeline the waveform goes flat where the audio stopped in Premiere.

Try downloading and installing the OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 Combo Update. If that doesn't help then:
Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.

I don't know why, but my airport keeps disconnecting every few minutes, although it reconnects after that.
I'm sure there's no problem with my router since other PCs in my home are fine.

I've had this issue for about a week and it has made my Macbook nearly impossible to use for anything other than local disk work.
Last night I tried running the standalone upgrade and it worked beautifully, however, upon booting up this AM I'm back to square one, constantly dropping the connection, ran the standalone update again and back in business with no drops.
While this is appears to be my temp workaround I don't want to be doing this on a daily basis.

Skype Disconnected Every Few Minutes

I upgrade my service from wireless to uverse and that includes phone, cable and internet. Since then I noticed that when I am on a call on Skype, I get disconnected every few minutes even though I am still connected to the internet. Didn't have this problem before.

I've been having the same problem, and so I tried the solution suggested above. However, I still get disconnected after being away from my computer for just a few minutes. Although we have wireless and I thought that perhaps this is the reason I get disconnected, my husband can be using the internet on his computer at the exact time that I get disconnected, so I know that I'm not losing the wireless signal. Any other suggestions?
