Sony xperia z1c notification problems

Hi all
Wondering if anyone can help. Bought myself a Sony xperia z1c which is running last firmware andriod (previously had a Samsung galaxy). On my Samsung if there was any action on eBay, Facebook, Skype etc I would get a notification along my top status bar. However with my Sony I don't get anything only once I open the app it shows that there is a notification. My notification settings are all turned on I'm totally baffled can anyone help or knows why this is happening issue really annoying kind of wish had of stayed with my s2 now. Thanks in advance Note:stamina mode is disable and only the gmail apk and native sms works well.

unfortunately this is not related with the apk sync. They are on.and all the individuals aplicattion that is of interest to me are with enable notifications. this sounds like a random thing!something give me the notification on the moment, another times no! like now... typing with some friends on google chat from the bowser and nothing append on the hangouts apk.but in others days, works wel.. and the annoying thing is the Skype!sometikes (80% of the time) lose the calls or messages. Need to open to get the losed calls!cam'on!! In other hand, stuff like gmail or facebook apk not the chat, works like a charm.

Sony Xperia Z3 screen problem

Hello, I have my Sony Xperia Z3 from 4 months and now, after the update of the system I have big problem . My screen doesn't work normally. When i try to touch it, on the screen appears black lines, green and purple spots. I didn't dropped, , neiher make it wet. I tried to repair the phone with Pc Companion but it doesn't work. It is very annoying to not see normally your screen. I hope you understand my situation and to receive your answer.,

I'm sorry to hear that. But if you have tried with a software repair via PC Companion but the problem persist, it sounds more related to a hardware problem. I suggest that you visit nearest service center to have the phone exmained by a technician. SONY XPERIA Z1C NOT BOOTING SONY/BATTERY LOGO WHEN CHARGED - THATS ALL.

Hello. I got problem with my "new-used" Z1Compact. I get it 2 days ago.
Phone is not starting, only bootlooping with sony and battery logo when charger is plugged.
There is no reaction for power button.
When i turned phone ON(plugged to power) i can "make a move" but i can only restart it, with power+vol, im getting 3 vibrations, and phone is restarted. (after restart when im trying vol+ or vol- i dont get nothing)
At first i thought it was matter of crashed ROM when somone updated, so i get STOCK for EU, and i plug phone to USB( same screen with sony + battery logo) with flashtool, he detects phone in flashboot and flash mode, so ive flashed my phone with D5503_14.4.A.0.108_Central Europe (1280-7864), but with no efect(i wasnt abble to WIPE in flashtool..).
Pc companion does not detects him, there is a Windows pip, but program dont recognize Z1C, but if i turn phone in flash mode( with vol-down) he is abble to detect device, like a Sony/Sony Ericsson.
For Windows i'm SONY ADB Interface Device.(ive installed Flashtool Drivers for all Z phones).
So i dont know what i can do to fix my sony. Any advise?
I'm not a pro in tel-service. Can someone can tell me do why system is not loading ?
No bootloader? Something wrong with flashing ? No drivers in PC ? When ive briked my sony Z1, i was in same situation, but phone was reacting for power, and i was ablle repir him with PC Companion.

Sony Xperia Z1 push notifications problems

I've had my Xperia for about 2 months now and as of about 3 days ago my push notifications stopped coming through when I'm using mobile data. When I reconnect to my home wifi they all come through, but when I am out I have to go into apps (such as facebook, messenger, snapchat, gmail) to be able to see that I have notifications.
Additionally, I was going to try to uninstall and reinstall the apps but now the Play Store will not let me in. It tells me that I have to enable background data (which I do have enabled) and then when I click on the enable button that it pops up with it opens sync options.
Does anyone have a way to fix either of these problems? The push notifications is my biggest annoyance.

Then you likely have slightly more recent software and this menu has been changed to "Xperia Connectivity" in which case the Internet Settings option will be found under the "More" option in settings.

Sony SBH 52 New Event Notification problem

I have bought sony sbh52 yesterday, now i am using sony xperia z (JB 4.3), the problem is my sbh52
never show the notification for messaging,calendar and an email. my sbh 52 have a latest software (via sony update service & via xperia z) but for another function like call handling,music and radio is worked without problem
the new event setting enable (messaging,calendar & email have been installed too), any one have you some problem like me?? how to fix this problem anyway..??

go smart connect app and select sbh52, then go to new event and edit the setting u will get what u desires

How are you attempting to connect them?
Looking at the Experia J features it does seem to support Wifi Hotspot, but there is no mention of a Bluetooth hotspot. Different phones offer different things.
The iPad issues the message, because there doesn;t seem to be anything it can do with it. But this is not something apple is blocking its more a limitation or a non present feature of the phone.
From the Manual which I assume you've read through:
To share your phone’s data connection as a portable Wi-Fi® hotspot
1 From the Home screen, tap .
2 Find and tap Settings > More… > Tethering & portable hotspot.
3 Tap Configure Wi-Fi hotspot.
4 Enter the Network SSID for the network. Tap the Security field to select a

7 Mark the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot checkbox. The phone starts broadcasting its
Wi-Fi® network name (SSID). You can now connect to this network with up to

When that is set up, you can use your iPad to look for the Wifi network the phone is providing and connect to it as you would any wifi network.

Sony Xperia Z1 - Problems with throwing photos, movies etc

Hi all,
I have a Sony sve1511w1e laptop and a Sony Xperia Z1 phone.
I am able to use the throw function to play music via my laptop, and I can throw movies and hear the audio but not see the picture. I am also unable to throw photos across.
I have tried following the user manual but it does not seem to have a troubleshooting section.
Has anyone else had this problem and hopefully found a solution to it.

Sony xperia SGPT122 wifi connection problem

I have xperia SGPT12, android version 4.1.1, kernel version 3.1.1. Recently i have experienced a problem with its wifi. The wifi is not getting connected to any of the internet connections i have despite being deteced, saved and secured with WPA. I have tried the following but of no avail:
1) Hard reset my device
2) forgetting the connection and reconnecting it
3) checked my internet (2 connections), working perfectly with all other devices.
Urgent help wikll be highly appreciated...

List of problems getting with Z2. Drawing attention to Sony Xperia Team to resolve

Hi Sony Xperia Team:
I am using Sony Xperia Z2 since last one week. I have noticed couple of issues which is constantly making me frustrated.
I would appreciate if someone from Sony take these issues in a serious note and fix the bugs in upcoming firmware.
I came from other smartphone brand. Liked Z2 very much. But these are some issues which make me frustrated sometimes. I believe most of these can be fixed with a firmware update. I hope someone from this forum will pick these issues and escalate to proper place so that big can be fixed.
Note that, My device model is D6503, Baseband: 8974-AAAAANPZQ-00004-07. Build number: 17.1.A.2.69
Poor backlight performance in direct sunlight in outdoor
Ringtone is very low and not able to hear ringtone in outdoor.
While in ringtone rings, only one front speaker operates.
In call speaker mode, only one front speaker works.
Sometimes getting notification called, restricted access changed, emergency service blocked.
Earpiece sound quality something muffed.
Sometimes other party can’t hear my speech/got echo.
Screen locked while on call sometimes.
Tap to wake up is not so smooth.
Auto brightness is not fully functional. Not react immediately once light condition changed.
Sometimes while in call, phone go to different phone menus like Favorite, Groups, Notifications, Even in quick setting. Even once my phone went to Airplane mode.
Annoying Mobile data disconnect notification.
Last but not the least, Sony used very poor screen protection in Z2. As a flagship device Sony could have use a better material. I already seen a minor scretch in my display. Very disappointing as I did not do any torture test with my device.
There might have other issues. I hope other users will add if i missed anything.

You could still sell your phone to get another brand and model to satisfy your needs.
