Sorry, but can't post to Elements forum

I wanted to post to a PS Elements 2 forum but there's no Add Topic displayed anywhere.
So, I've come here instead.
I have PSE 2 on my Mac but the other day it wouldn't start. I upgraded from 10.3 to 10.5 recently. Is PSE 2 incompatible with 10.5?
Before you give me the "PSE 2 is real old" lecture, I now have PS CS2 on my PC laptop and do my real image work there so the PSE version on the Mac is only used these days to view images (better than Preview).

Looks like all of the Elements forum for version 2 is read only.

    I can't post pictures/images on a certain forum when using firefox but when using Internet explorer on the same forum it works. Any solutions please?

    Hi Meghraj, Thank you for your reply! I am afraid a screenshot will not reveal much. When I click on "add file" on the forum to post a pic it opens my files and once I select my file that I want to post and click on "open" it goes back to the forum page but the file is not there. When I do this same action with Internet explorer it works. But I don't really use internet explorer and would like to use firefox rather. A few members on the forum using firefox have the exact same problem. Any ideas? Thank you! :)

    I appologize for posting in this forum, but I cannot find a "Toast" forum. I am using a 12 core MacPro. I use Toast 10 to convert movies onto DVD. It takes hours to convert a DVD in certain formats. Does anyone have a better idea of software to use? Thanx in advance.

  • I can't post in online forums using my Blackberry Pearl

    I just got my Blackberry Pearl and love it, but every time I go to an online forum and try to post replies to messages, it looks as if the post will go through, but it doesn't.  I have the Pearl 8110.  I can't recall how to look up the OS.  Do I need to have a certain OS to do this, or is this a problem with the website?

  • I can't post on a forum

    Every time I try to reply to a post I get booted off the site. Not Facebook just my turtle forum.
    Also, when I tap the reply I tap the body to type my reply and I don't get a curser.

    No idea how to fix that. Try preview first, you will still have to post though.
    If you can post sometimes before it fails, I would recommend --- forget the if, you'll need it anyway for mozilla sites, and occasionally for other sites.

    It looks like Apple Discussions is suffering from some maintenance today. What I would normally think of as a Forum is now a Category, and Categories do not have post links.

    Hi Al!
    You are probably on a Category page, rather than a Forum page.
    For example, from the Mac mini Category Page, select an appropriate Forum, such as Using your Mac mini.
    The same criteria applies the iMac Category.
    On Forum, there is an option to Post New Topic.

  • Sorry I can not find Exchange 2010 forum does it still exist? How do you stop mails automaticaly being received by outlook on the exchange server

    is it possible to stop the exchange server 2010 from automatically populating the outlook clients inbox with new emails forcing the users to press send and receive every time they want to collect emails?
    I thought it was but I can no longer find any information on this.

    Based on my known, I'm afraid that there is no way to realize it on exchange server.
    Could you tell me why you do this?
    If you want to control the size of mailboxes, you can configure mailbox storage quotas for a mailbox.
    If you want to delete specific message or messages from the specific sender or domain, you can create transport rule to do it. Or you can set outlook rule to do it.

    Hello and Welcome to Apple Discussions. 
    This happens when you first navigate to a page that you may not access before you are logged in. For some reason Apple Discussions tells you you must log in. Then you log in, and then you are directed back to that 'you must log-in' page. Don't worry just carry on as normal - as you have done hear. I hope this is on the Moderators wish list as I have queried it before.

    Sorry to be so off topic, but I have a serious problem with Final Cut Pro but I can't post in that forum. I only get a speech bubble allowing me to post topics in this forum and a few others. The rest of them give me no option.
    Can anyone tell me why this is???? Final Cut won't let me do something and now the Final Cut Forum won't let me post about Final Cut not letting me do something!!

    It sounds as if you are not logged in... but you must be if you are able to post here. Have you tried emptying your browser cache, clearing the cookies and logging in again?

    That's the post. On my end, all indications were that my posts could not be submitted. This hasn't been a good experience for me, either with the backups or the discussion forum.
    Thanks stedman1; I need to take a break from all this and enjoy some fresh air without the smell of Apple in my flaring nostrils!

    Firstly, make sure you are not using the split keyboard. There is a bug in the app which disables the send button. Make sure it is the full keyboard you are using. (Pinch the split keyboard to rejoin it).
    If you still have no luck, then use the website, or an alternative app. They are generally better than Facebook's own offering.

    I'm not certain, but it sounds like you are describing missing file syndrome where tracks show up with exclamation marks...
    This normally happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. It may be a by-product of the way you moved the library. Other possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
    Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
    Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .
