Sorry can't load this project...

I created a track in the latest GarageBand (10.0.2)
Then if I try to open it in the latest Logic (9.1.8). I've tried both right-click > Open and Opeing from the File menu in Logic.
I get the following message:
" Sorry can't load this project because it is created by a newer Logic Pro version "
but it does go ahead and create the folder and the file. When I open the file it's an empty project.
Can anyone tell me how to open the Garageband track in Logic Pro?

You need Logic Pro X to open that, or you should have created tracks in Garageband 9. Version 9 (Logic or Garageband) will not open version 10 (Logic or Garageband) files.

Hello,
Unfortunately Apple do not offer a download for mac OS X 10.5.8. They will only provide updates available for download. ( Normally you would do so once the OS is installed)
To do a fresh install of this software your going to need to buy a retail copy of the disk.
There are some vendors who do still stock the media disk, but they can be expensive.

Asha 501.1: Wireless error: Can't load this page a...

Hello.
I have a Nokia Asha 501.1 running Asha Platform 1.0.
I am using this a test device and I do not have a SIM card and just trying to use the device over WiFi. However, when I open the Internet app and browse to a URL, I receive the following error message:
Can't load this page at the moment. Check your phone's date and security settings.
Is it possible to use the device without a SIM card and on WiFi only? How can I resolve this error?

How can i organize this project?

Hi guys,
i'm working to a JSF project, and i need to integrate some Flex.. i have a Flex application that is a Chart (i added some features to the Flex chart).
I will embed this flex application in some page, and this is not going to be a problem.. i can embed it and i can use the external interface of flex to, for example, set some property before doing a database query for the data (i'm using spring-flex too, to use the beans of the application).
The problem is that, for example, in another jsf page, i have to develop an application that contains a chart too.. i mean, for example:
- page_1.jspx: i embed the chart, to show some i can set with the external interface api
- page_2.jspx: i want to embed another application in flex that use that chart too.. for example with a menu to select dates or parameters.
The problem is that the same flex app, the chart, is being used as an application.. but i need to use it like a component too.
I can resolve this using the SWFLoader, for sure, but.. the same chart that use the external interface.. i have to use it with SWFLoader in another way.. so in the same chart app i should implement code for both things.
Well.. i'm asking help just to know how would you organize this projects, because i don't have many experience with it.
I hope i've explained well the problem, sorry for my english if i wrote something wrong.

Sounds like you want to leverage the same chart component that you developed on another page but embed a second application in the page with additional controls. Not a big deal. Just define some clean interfaces between them and let them communicate through the ExternalInterface. This way you can swap out them out easily. For example, you could decide to ditch the Flex control app and use HTML instead and not have to change a whole lot.

FCP Crashes every time I load this project

I am quite new to FCP and recently have been sent a project that was originally laid down by my colleagues in India. He has sent me supposedly all of the files on a DVD, when I open the fcp project I get the message I have to reconnect the media, this I do but some files cannot reconnect. during this time before I get chance to render the project and all within 1-2mins of loading the project the program crashes with an error report stating "Final Cut Pro quit unexpectedly while using the lib3ivxEnc.dylib plugin". There is a long list of text that I do not know what it means but I cannot simply open the project without crashing.
Can anyone help direct me what to do?

First of all, have you moved the project in question, media and all to one of your hard drives?
2nd, try NOT reconnecting, then saving the project under a new name, exiting FCP, opening the new project and relinking the media. If that crashes, Digital Rebellion has a utility that will examine all the media in an FCP project and tell you which is corrupt.

If you don't want to spend the money, try this:
Open the saved project, don't relink the media. Select half the clips in the browser. Right/ctrl-click and select Relink. If that is unsuccessful, open the project again and select the other half and try again. If successful, save and select half the remaining, relink, repeat.
The goal is to half-by-half find out what media is crashing your system.

Currently I have a 11" Macbook Air, which I plan to replace with a 13" model. My current machine is backed up in Time machine, when I get the new 13" model can I load my backup into the new machine ?

How can I load this XML with sql loader ?

Im try to load a XML file into a XML table:
Create table TEST of XMLTYPE;
XML file is something like this:

I dont know how to exactly create an appropriate control file to my XML. All examples I saw in documentation are similar to this one:

the main diference I found is that when i use:
Insert into test values (XMLType(bfilename('XMLDIR', 'swd_uC000025127.xml'),nls_charset_id('AL32UTF8')));
tag <!DOCTYPE list SYSTEM "myfile.dtd"> is expanded
(I explain at DTD insertion and errors with long DTD entities
Now using sql loader the tag is not modified.
I dont know if is there any difference, between each case. did I lost performance?

[SOLVED] Can't load this module??

Ok, I discovered why I have no eth0 device. I have an
Nvidia MCP61 Ethernet card, according to lscpi -v
and no associated "Kernel" modules.
The necessary Ethernet driver for that Nvidia card is forcedeth
however
# modprobe forcedeth
FATAL: Module forcedeth not found.
but if I perform a systemwide find..
I get
/usr/lib/modules/3.6.2-1-ARCH/kernel/drivers/net/ethernet/nvidia/forcedeth.ko.gz
but according to 'man modprobe' the modprobe program looks in the /lib/modules/'uname -r' directory
and when I run
# uname -r
3.5.6-1-ARCH
I can cleary see why modprobe didn't work since according to the previous "find" there is no "forcedeth" in that directory.
so I tried
# modprobe -S 3.6.2-1-ARCH
Error: missing parameters. See -h.
to tell modprobe to search in that directory instead, but despite different variations I couldn't change the version sucessfully.
So instead I tried copying the "forcedeth.ko.gz" to the /lib/modules/3.5.6-1-ARCH directory
and I still haven't been able to "modprobe" it, even with full pathname and force option provided.
So, in summation, I had the driver in the wrong directory according to 'uname -r' and thus I couldn't
load it. I tried to manually give modprobe a different kernel version, without sucess, and have tried
copying forcedeth.ko.gz to the directory which corresponded to /lib/modules/'uname -r'.
I guess I need to either
- upgrade the kernel without an internet connection?
- sucessfully modprobe forcedeth despite the kernel version conflict?
- maybe throw a symbolic link somewhere?
- give an explicit option to define a full path in a config file?
- do something with mkinitcpio that can specify that module and boot into that ramdisk?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, since I don't know how else to load the module.
If any other info on my system might give a lead, I'd be more than happy to provide it. Thanks. I'm almost there...

How can I load this album art? Artwork tab does not display.

If I place the cursor on one of the items in a compilation and right-click, then select (click) "Get Info", I get this message: "Are you sure you want to edit info for multiple items?" If I click "Yes," nothing happens (I can't add the cover), and there is no "Artwork" tab at the top. The "Summary" page says "There is no album artwork" (greyed out).
If I place the cursor on one of the items in this compilation and right-click, then select (click) "Get album artwork", I get a message saying Apple can't find it. But I placed the artwork for this particular album in my "Album Artwork" folder.
Any suggestions on how I can get the album art to display for this compilation? Thanks!

Are these wav files by any chance? These don't support a tagging system. iTunes can associate iTMS art with wav files when it's available/recognised, but as there is no tag the information cannot be embedded in the files so iTunes doesn't support adding art to wav files.

I'm getting Crazy I Can't finish this project "Compiling movie, Unknown Error" HELP

I been working on this video for weeks, when I finish, the problems start trying to burn a DVD I can send it to Encore but there is a problem too. I read some of the articles but I don't understad who to check the video clips, took me weeks for editing them, so if I put a new one from the same moves the audio and the sequence. I'm Using a MAC, Premiere Pro CS6 and Canon Camera with XMF files. Thanks in advance

Make sure you copy the entire folder structure from your camera memory card to your hard drive. Don't try to edit from the card.
Make sure you store your media on a separate physical hard disk from your system disk.
Make sure there is enough room on your system disk or your media disk to store the cache and preview files that Pr generates. Even if there is enough room on your system disk, I recommend moving those files to another hard disk.
Go to Edit>Preferences>Media and click the Clean button to remove your unused cache files and database entries.

I've attached the LIB file for you. Also, please note that MC34063 and MC33063 share the same model file which means we don't need to create the MC33063 componnet, we can just use the MC34063 that Multisim 13 has already built within.

I want the UV-meter instead of analog meter, where can I load this ?

I want the digital uv-meter (5 green LED,3 Yellow LED,3 red LED) instead of the anolog meter that already have in function of Labview.
I try to make it but when I use it as subvi with many inputs, the led always blink and it doesn't work properly.
So, I think about maybe it already have somewhere that I can download !!

Further the Dennis Knutson's comment, a program design maxim is the 'Black Box' approach. One should develop modules which isolate functionality in a 'black box'.
You then use these modules at a higher level.
Anyway my own rules of thumb are: -
1) One screen height and no more than two screen
widths for diagrams.
2) Isolate functionality and modularise using SUB Vi's
3) If you exceed 1 then proceed and implement 2
If you take a look at the first example, what you will see is an approach which creates 5 bars and controls them - from a beautiful use of the inbuilt functions. All this is done in a quarter screen!
When I first started with Labview I sometimes 'Spawned' modules that look like yours (screens were smalle
r then). I learnt quickly to start fresh. I know that 5 years down the line, maintaining the code will be almost impossible as it will take longer to understand to amend / fix than to re-write.

I doubt if location is a factor.
Try troubleshooting the Safari .plist file.
Quit Safari.
Open a Finder window. Select your Home Folder in the Sidebar on the left. It has a small house icon. Then open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.
Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop. Now launch Safari. If that site loads, move the .plist file to the Trash.
If it's not preferences ...
And from your Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Advanced tab. Click: Change Settings. That will prompt the Network pane. Make sure the Proxies tab is selected.
If any of the boxes on the left are selected, uncheck the box(es). Relaunch Safari.

Sorry can't load this project...
