Sorry, No Valid Responsibility Available

Dear All,
We have defined the users and Responsibilities. But whenever i am logging into the user, system is showing the two responsibilities but when i clicking any one of the responsibility, Its showing an error as "Sorry, No Valid Responsibility Available.
*Note : We have done Function and Menu Exclusion as per User Responsibility Matrix.*
Please suggest me what could be the reason.

AnyConnect 3.1.05160 - no valid certificates available for authentication

Hi all,
one of our customer is running the above AC version and hitting the above error.
form the DART file I gathered the following information
Description : Server certificate validation failed with the following errors:
Certificate does not match the server name.
Certificate is from an untrusted source.
Certificate is not identified for this purpose.
Certificate is malformed.
Certificate is explicitly distrusted.
I am sure the Cert is valid however reading the following article got me thinking, https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11533701/cisco-anyconnect-3008057-certificate-validation-failure.
could this be the same reason, haven't mentioned this to my customer as he is running 3.1.05. but could this be related to the same issue?

I also had the problem of "no valid certificates available for authentication", although it only prompted once, rather than a flood like the OP.
However, the cause and solution for my problem was:
The certificate used for authentication was issued by my internal CA, to the Computer, NOT the user.
Although the user that is logged on is a local administrator, the AnyConnect Client application does not have the permission to send the certificate from the Computer store.
The application needs to 'run as administrator'
Right-click the application shortcut-> Properties->Compatibility->Privilege Level.
Tick ->Run This Program As Administrator.
I needed to reboot the client pc before this worked.

JDBC receiver error No response available

Hi All,
I am getting below error in Proxy to JDBC synchronous scenario. This interface is to select the records based on between two dates. when number of records comes above 20000, it is failing with below error in sxmb_moni. i am getting this error in QA system.
With same number of records, it works fine in Development system.
please share your thoughts to overcome this issue.

i check the channel logs. getting below error.
Delivery of the message to the application using connection JDBC_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessageExpiredException: Sync application request expired.. Setting message to status failed
I tried using syncTimeout in the channel. set the value 300000. no luck.
PI dev and QA systems are connected to QA DB.
in the development it takes less than 3 mins to fetch the records. that is why it is successful.
But in the QA , it is taking more than 3 mins. so getting error-ed out. Not sure why syncTimeout setting is not having any impact.

Are Oracle-Validated patches available in OEL 6?????????????

I have a plan to install OEL 6 and Oracle EBS R12 in my Server. But I need to make sure all Oracle-validated patches available in OEL 6 & I can install EBS R12 in OEL 6 properly....I had seen a mail in OTN which mentioned there is no RPMs available for OEL6 till now....
Please tell me a good Suggestion.

[AnyConnect] No valid certificates available for authentication

Hi,
We are using Cisco Anyconnect 3.0.0629 with certificate authentication (stored in Aladdin eToken)
Most of users have no problem and it works fine.
When one user tried to connect, he got a lot of errors "No valid certificates available for authentication" during 30 seconds. (~10 errors per second)
In a normal behaviour, we should have only one error.
Why is AnyConnect flooding this error?
How could I resolve it?

Application Short Name: AK

User name and password are creditals of user that has access to the page. But when I launch it I get the following error message:

It seems that responsibility key is invalid. So the question is how to get a list of valid responsibility keys (and application short names) for a given user for database (which tables contain such information)?

Hi,
Problem and solution seems to be what Pratap has mentioned. Please Add the responsibility to your user name as mentioned by Pratap.
However, Also seems that you are just copying values for JDev guide.
To find responsibility key (Support You are using "OA Framework ToolBox Tutorial"l responsibillity for launching page through JDeveloper..)
Go to system Administrator > Security : Responsibility > Define
Query (F11) > Fill "OA Framework ToolBox Tutorial" in Responsibility Name field.
Now what you see in Responsibility Key field is what you need (FWK_TBX_TUTORIAL).
Now For finding application short name..first copy the application name from the above same screen. (In R12 Its Common Modules-AK)
Now go to Application Developer Responsibility > Application > Register.
Here again query F11, And fille name of application in the given field and press ctrl+11.
Here you can see short name of application in given field.
However, you issue its solution seems what Pratap has told. Please add that responsibility to your user name.

Java remote desktop protocol from Windows server -no valid license available(0x102)

This works from my iMac but not from my MacBook Pro.
Our work offers a Java RDP. First I have to log on to the server which I can do. Then I could use a Citrix client function, if I wanted to figure out how, but the alternate Java interface used to work on both computers, but now only on one.
Various websites have directed me to where the license is, saying to delete it, e.g. HD -> Users -> Shared -> etc. It isn't there or anywhere else that I can find (Library, Applications, Preferences, Application Support, both at the HD and User levels ... I have looked around).
Some of the things I see on my screen are these:
Terminal Services (RDP - Java) - one would click here to activate the password-protected software I need to run
Terminal Services Java Client Error
Connection Terminated
No valid license available(0x102)
The terminal server disconnected before licence negotiation completed.
Possible cause: terminal server could not issue a licence.
IT at work doesn't seem to know what to do. They have directed me to instructions about deleting a listing in the Windows Registry - clearly not directly applicable on a Mac.
Anything obvious I could do about this?

P.S. I can circumvent this with an SSH tunnel from my MacBook Pro to my iMac - but it slows things down and I think shouldn't be necessary.

Thanks, Linc. I previously looked at the CoRD page and felt intimidated and then forgot about it. I've downloaded and run it now and my feelings were justified.
I put in the settings I know, which are something like:
     https://xxx.xx.x.xxx/cgi-bin/welcome/{users_name}
and it simply fails at that point.
It works from IE or Opera (within Fusion, Vista), but not from Safari, and I haven't tried it with Firefox for Mac etc. because of complicated reasons ...
So CoRD says:
     Couldn't connect to {name_I_used}
     The host name could not be resolved.
So honestly, I've looked through the help files, read about "Connection Preferences" and looked at the "Connection Inspector" and it's all "computereze". It says I may use my user name and password or not - neither way works. When I go through IE (or Opera, from Vista), then there is a domain specified in a 3rd field, and it does't matter if I type that word in the Connection Inspector "Domain" field or not.
I had an idea it would be complicated.
Anyway, in the meantime, I'm managing through Fusion -> Windows_Vista. Actually, it's malfunctioning this morning as well, so this is just normal computer networking! Today, Java through IE wants to install MLWebCacheCleaner.cab... then I have to say "continue" to various security alerts 3 times ... and it's still not working, even after updating Java, rebooting Vista - so it might not be COrd at all. Will have to come back to it some other day ...

When I am trying to click on the 'iprocurement Home page' menu in the iprocurement responsibility getting the below error message in R12;
"iProcurement is not a valid responsibility for the current user. Please contact your System Administrator."

Hi Joseph,
I am assuming that the user actually has the iProcurement responsibility assigned to them. If so, try the following solution from note 1560400.1:
1) Logon with System Administrator responsibility
2) Navigate to Profile > System, click on User and enter the user name
3) Search for profile 'Applications Start Page'. Delete the value set at user level and save
4) Retry

IRecruitment Manager,SR BUSINESS GROUP is not a valid responsibility

I've added the iRecruitment Manager responsability to my user id and assigned the mandatory security profiles
when i try to acces any of the functiona in the menu i am getting the folowing error
'iRecruitment Manager,SR BUSINESS GROUP is not a valid responsibility for the current user. Please contact your System Administrator.'
Is there any specific profile for this issue.I crossed check the profiles with the implementation guide too but i am not able to resolve it

HR: User type and few mandatory profiles for iRecruitment is also set correctly and i've rechecked it also
But i couldn't find out the reason for this issue. i've faced similiar issue once with the oracle sales but i lost track how I resolved it

I am also getting this error. But in my case it is SOAP to RFC synchronous scenario.
BizTalk calls XI web service to send data. XI then sends the data to ECC system by calling a RFC enabled function module.
What was the cause of your error? How did you resolve it?
I will be grateful to you if you can tell me the possible root cause of this error?

I'm trying to use Anyconnect 4 as a 802.1x supplicant replacement.
I'm trying to make a profile with Anyconnect Profile Editor, where the settings are WPA2 Enterprise where both machine and user must use certificates.
I have downloaded the CA certificate from my Certificate Server, converted it to PEM and loaded it into the Profile Editor.
But when I try to use the generated configuration.xml, I get this error:
No valid certificates available. Please insert a smart card or install a valid certificate.
If I load the xml file into Notepad++ I see that the certificate path is set to the path on the hard drive where I loaded it from, ie. D:\Certificate.pem
Shouldn't that point to the Certificate Store instead?
But even if I correct the path to something on the local hard drive, I still get the same error.
So, any tips on how to use the Profile Editor correctly?

I looked at the website and can see that the Classic TPC card is supported on Vista. It is the 'Java-card based solution'. What do you mean when you say that I 'might need to obtain the software using BaseCSP to enumerate the certificates'? Windows 7 can enumerate
them.

I am facing a problem in Production server (PI 7.1).
I have synchronous interfaces between SOAP to RFC and RFC to RFC via PI.
Some time, the interfaces are failing with the error u201Ccom.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: No response availableu201D
Functional consultant has kept the trace in ECC system (for the RFC calls), we donu2019t find any call/trace for the one which fails with the error u201CNo response availableu201D.

We had kept the trace in ECC for the calls from SOAP to RFC via PI.
We did not get any trace in ECC for the call which failed.
Trace is there for successful calls.
Still not sure where the problem is?

Try using the FUNCTIONAL ADMINISTRATOR responsibility.
Navigate to core services > caching > global components (can't remember if that's exactly the right names)
Then press the clear cache button.
Sometimes you get this error if you haven't performed these steps.

Please post the details of the application release, database version and OS.
Have you granted “Security Administrator” role to your user? If not, please do so and check then.
Also, check Apache log files for any errors.
