Sorry, this content is not allowed when trying to post.

Hi all,
With text like NVL, tmp when wrapped between <code>....<code> ?
For actual posting, had used {  } instead of < > for the above.
Any workaround ?
Regards
Zack

When posting code on the forum, put {noformat}{noformat} (with the curly brackets and the word code in lowercase) above and below your code like this...
{noformat}{noformat}
SELECT *
FROM emp
{noformat}{noformat}
It will then appear like this, preserving formatting...SELECT *
FROM emp
Cheers

  • Sorry, this content is not allowed

    Hi Oracle team,
    Since two days or so, I noticed that I often get "Sorry, this content is not allowed" when trying to post a reply. It seems that a word filter was added.

  • Sorry, this content is not allowed - absolutely puzzled - how to resolve?

    Hi all,
    I tried to start a new thread today - put a lot of effort into the question - good
    English, code (with tags) tested - basically no problems - forum SQL and PL/SQL
    There were absolutely no offensive words, nor indeed could what I wrote
    be construed as anyway offensive (in fact I positively acknowledged another
    poster's contributions).
    When I try to post "jive" (more like "hive" - the kind that itches) refuses
    to accept my post and I get the message - "Sorry, this content is not allowed"
    I tried to edit bits, move bits around, but to no avail.
    What can I do to resolve this issue? Is it common?
    Any ideas, references, URL's ideas, whatever appreciated.

  • Getting "Origin is not allowed" When Trying to Invoke RESTful Service from Another Domain

    I am having problems trying to invoke my RESTful web service from a different domain. I'm well aware of the normal restrictions of cross-site / cross-domain scripting but in Oracle documentation it says that all origins are allowed by default when creating a RESTful service without using authentication.
    I have created a very simple service and am trying to invoke it using jQuery.Ajax calls from a different domain and I am getting XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://address_to_my_web_service. Origin http://calling_from_address is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin.
    I understand that using JSONP instead of JSON is actually the best practice around cross-site scripting but it appears as though APEX does not support JSONP because with JSONP, there are URI parameters added to the base request (callback).
    I am stuck and would greatly appreciate any help.
    I'm starting to wonder if this could be a bug because Oracle documentation says all origins should be allowed when using a service that does not require authentication. I also tried to force the origin to be allowed by typing it in and also using the wildcard '*' and it still did not work.
    Thanks,
    Mark Williamson
    EDIT: It is now working after adding a URI prefix to my web service module.

    The SSL handshake works differently to a browser as it is making the connections automatically.
    The browser asks every time if you want to trust an expired certificate, and it also recommends not to. Its impractical to manually check every service call to say do you trust the certificate so the functionality doesn't exist. I doubt any integration product does this. Therefore there isn't a option to ignore the certificate if it has expired.
    This makes sence as the certificate is untrustworthy. The whole idea around SSL is trusting the site you are communicating with, all parties need to be trusted. This stops hackers from replicating their site and intercepting data.
    If the administrator of the remote site is not willing to renew the certificate, are they really interested in SSL. I suggest they expose a non SSL service.
    cheers

  • "You have included content in your post that is not permitted" when trying to post very positive feedback about Apple.

    So I spent 2 hours writing a huge post about how I love what Apple has done with the Audio/MIDI/Sound config tools in OSX.
    I spent alot of time trying to be positive.  And i get to the end and click "Post" - this stops me and gives me the following vague message:
    "You have included content in your post that is not permitted."
    I am not sure what this means or why it appeared.  I used no negative content in my post, no cursing or trolling or anything... And i wouldn't try to troll or flame on these forums anyways.  I've posted some problems I've had, which were all addressed very quickly by the way.  And I've always said what I thought, but never just posted things to be negative.
    And then after my post is rejected, i tried again.  The discussion forums offered to restore my previous draft, but I clicked yes and nothing happened.  Then the entire Discussions site pretty much stopped functioning... I tried closing reopening Chrome.  I tried a completely new session in Chrome Incognito.  I tried using Safari.  None worked.
    I was then offered a survey to take.  I clicked "yes", and nothing happened.  Then I looked at the Javascript Link for the survey and used the Chrome console to send the javascript anyways.  And then it said the survey was behind my browser (it wasn't) and there was an "X" button to close the yellow notification at the top of the page.  Then restarted my computer and it's finally working, but my post is still being rejected, which is ridiculous.
    Anyways, went through alot to say something positive.  That is the exact thing that gets to me though, it's the censorship.  Why am I not allowed to say something good?  Hopefully this one goes through...

    I don't believe I'm circumventing any DRM/Copyright.  I'm currently enrolled in a Harvard eDx Copyright Law class. As long as you are original and offer a minimum of creativity, you are eligable for a copyright, without any need for registration.  But that's besides the point.  I can see how it may have flagged the post though.
    Ultimately, what I was trying to do at the time is play music using software that I own and stream this in online video.  But the comment about streaming my personal music online is just an example of something awesome I can do with an Apple product.
    Thanks for the link to the feedback page though.  I'll go ahead and send it in.

    Well that is exactly what I am doing. The variable dbName is database

    In my code I am supplying name of the connection pool already
    created
    in
    weblogic server. I am asking you to get connection from the pool
    using
    pool
    driver.
    In your case you are trying to create connection straight to

    using pool

    What I am asking is pass name of the connection pool instead of
    database
    name.

    Try As described below:
    The following example demonstrates how to use a database
    connection
    pool
    from a servlet.
    Load the pool driver and cast it to java.sql.Driver. The
    full
    pathname
    of
    the driver is weblogic.jdbc.pool.Driver. For example:
    Driver myDriver = (Driver)
    Class.forName("weblogic.jdbc.pool.Driver").newInstance();
    Create a connection using the URL for the driver, plus
    (optionally)
    the
    name of the registered connection pool. The URL of the pool
    driver
    is
    jdbc:weblogic:pool.
    You can identify the pool in either of two ways:
    Specify the name of the connection pool in a
    java.util.Properties
    object
    using the key connectionPoolID. For example:
    Properties props = new
    Properties();props.put("connectionPoolID",
    "myConnectionPool");Connection conn =
    myDriver.connect("jdbc:weblogic:pool", props);
    Add the name of the pool to the end of the URL. In this case
    you
    do
    not
    need a Properties object unless you are setting a username
    and
    password
    for using a connection from the pool. For example:
    Connection conn =
    myDriver.connect("jdbc:weblogic:pool:myConnectionPool",
    null);
    Note that the Driver.connect() method is used in theseexamples
    instead of
    the DriverManger.getConnection() method. Although you may
    use
    DriverManger.getConnection() to obtain a databaseconnection,
    we
    recommend
    that you use Driver.connect() because this method is not
    synchronized
    and
    provides better performance.
    Note that the Connection returned by connect() is an
    instance
    of
    weblogic.jdbc.pool.Connection.
    Call the close() method on the Connection object when youfinish
    with
    your
    JDBC calls, so that the connection is properly returned to
    the
    pool. A
    good coding practice is to create the connection in a try
    block
    and
    then
    close the connection in a finally block, to make sure the
    connection
    is
    closed in all cases.
    conn.close();

    cause of the error:
    After some extensive research on the web, it is found that that you are using an UTF-8 encoded file with byte-order mark (BOM). Java doesn't handle BOMs on UTF-8 files properly, making the three header bytes appear as being part of the document. UTF-8 files with BOMs are commonly generated by tools such as Window's Notepad. This is a known bug in Java, but it still needs fixing after almost 8 years...
    There are some hexadecimal character at the begining of the file, which is giving error"content not allowed in prolog". No solution is provided for this till now.
    Example: suppose your file start with <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>. you will see this in a editor. But if you open this file with any hexadecimal editor you will find some junk character in the start of the file.that is causing the problem
    solution:
    1) convert your file into a string and then read the file from the forst character that in my case the first character will be "<".so the junk character will not be there in the string and then again convert it into a file.
    2) some people are able to solve this problem by changing the "utf-8" to "utf-16". remember only in some case. some times this problem also exits in "utf-16" file.
    3) some are able to solve this problem by changing the LANG to US.en.
    4) If the first three bytes of the file have hexadecimal values EF BB BF then the file contains a BOM.so you can also handle by your own.
    5)Download a hexadecimal editor and remove the BOM.
    6) In case you are not able to think furthe then please to more research in internet may be you find some other solution to this problem. But These solution are some type of hack not exactly a solution.

    You can see in the area where it adds MESSAGETEXT there are two clients commented out which work. The three lines above it are what changed to make it an attachment instead.

  • Pplsft compIntf adapter: "XML Error: 1:1: Content is not allowed in prolog"

    Hi All,
    I am using the peoplesoft component interface adapter in IDM 5.5 and IDM 6.0.
    I configured the adapter, tested it successfully and enterred the details to create and provision a user to peoplesoft.
    But whenever I click on the save button in the end of the creation wizard I get this error:
    com.waveset.util.WavesetException: An error occurred adding user 'FX600859' to resource 'PeopleSoft Component Interface'. com.waveset.util.XmlParseException: XML Error: 1:1: Content is not allowed in prolog.I know the prolog is something about the first two lines and BOM and all - but this is like a really fresh install of IDM ( I tried and experienced the same error on both v 5.5 and 6.0) and have checked almost all the files which might be related to the user creation process.......... the error does not say which object has the defective prolog if at all..
    I have also enabled trace for a lot of classes (incrementally of course since I failed to get any info from the earlier traces..) Here are the classes/ methods that I have set show trace on:
    com.waveset.adapter.ResourceAdapterBase#createAccounts
    com.waveset.util.XmlParseException
    com.waveset.util.XmlUtil
    com.waveset.util.XmlParser
    com.waveset.adapter.PeopleSoftCompIntfcAdapter
    com.waveset.object.GenericObject
    com.waveset.adapter.ResourceAdapterBase
    All have a level of 4..... (the most verbose)
    here is the trace output:
