Sorry to disturb

hi friends
I am very new to ABAP
& I know the point that you people are terribly busy but if you could answer this I would be grateful:-
which one is better for learning  ABAP
i]   the help portal of SAP--BC ABAP PROGRAMMING
OR
II]] THE abapdocu  TRANSACTION
Since I do not find a match between them .

Hey both are helpful.
But i would suggest to follow any one of them from start to end.
SAP--BC ABAP PROGRAMMING, would be a bettrer choice for theoritical based study.
Refer to ABAPDOCU for coding stuff, u can do it this way.
The abapdocu has really good examples....!!!!
<b>Hope this is helpful</b>

  • How can i install windows 7 on macbook pro lion  from usb?

    hello am sorry to disturb you
    i would like to know the above question since i have looked almost everywhere and i have received no answer
    i have a macbook pro i5 with lion
    i have been trying for month to install windows 7 as a secondary boot to my mac
    but i haven't been able to
    things that i have done
    -i had downloaded win7 iso
    -using another computer i installed win7 on the usb { win to flash }
    -i have used bootcamp assistant but apparently i need a dvd of win7 which i currently don't have
    -i have installed Reffit but i always get a flashing screen when try to load windows
    please i hope you can reply me back if possible
    my thoughts are
    is that apple disabled the efi on lion to not be able to boot from usb flash drive
    my reasoning to this is that is used to work  on leopard but not lion
    again am trying to boot from usb not burn a disc
    please help att alcidio

    Rule #1 that TP missed: ISO have to be burned at SLOWEST 2X burn speed to work.
    There is/was a long thread but booting Windows from USB-DVD or flash is hit or miss, it may work. USB-DVDs often do not but it is possible to edit the plist to add the Mac ID string to it.
    Boot Camp Assistant -
    create a partition (done)
    download Windows Support Software (drivers to install after Windows is running) (done)
    Start the install and boot process - not really needed or essential
    And you can use Paragon, you can use Windows 7 or later DVD and do entire install (but on a dedicated 100% Windows hard drive).
    Flash drive: has to be MBR and FAT or NTFS (I think, sounds right) same for putting Apple drivers on flash card  for which there is an Apple Tech Article.

  • How do I get a Ringtone back onto my iPhone?

    I have a ringtone in the ringtone section of iTunes. I'm sure I put it there when I changed the .mp3 version of it into an .m4r version prior to putting it onto my iPhone.
    I have now been told by Apple to restore my iPhone, so of course this ringtone is no longer on the phone.
    But I have now completely forgotten how to get the ringtone, which is in iTunes, onto my phone. Please help.
    I'm sure the answer is staring me in the face, but I can't remember...

    Doh!
    How many times do you remember the answer to a question when you've just posted it!!!
    The answer, of course, is to just drag and drop it into the iPhone tones folder while it is connected.
    Sorry to disturb...

  • Problem with prod. ver. explosion to production order

    Hi
    I have problem with production versions. I have FERT with 3 production versions. Additionaly we have Z-program (on Z-table) which control parameter sold to party (from sale order) with production version. So after MRP I see in planned order right production version for example 3 - field PLAF-VERID; in master data in planned order I see right alternative BOM and routing; but when I make a conversion to production order I see that system always explode 1st version; additionaly in planned order in components (button)  I see 1st pr.ver (1st alternative BOM) and in Bill of Material (it seems like to manually expolding BOM) I see right version??? But it couldn't be like this that to have right data I need to go to transaction MD12, explode BOM manully, save and after that make a prod. ord.
    I would like to system explode BOM according to production version (field VERID) already in planned order; so after that it should be that when I will converted it to production order I should have right BOM and right routing from production version signed in planned order.
    I know it sounds complicated Add. in configuration all parameters are set right to explode BOM etc. etc. system version: 4.7
    Thanks and regards. Joanna
    Additional info: I cancel this question cause problem is in Z-program; becuase when according to Z-table system change input in field VERID for system it is only "digital" not parameter for which system should explode right BOM; sorry for disturbing, we need to change Z-programm; I do not know how but maybe any function module can help - we will think. • Problem with date conversion

    I have read some topics about it, but still have problem :-(((
    When I insert data, I don't have any problem with a date. It looks like this:
         Statement stmt = con.createStatement();
              stmt.executeUpdate("BEGIN " +
                        "INSERT INTO employee VALUES (" +
                        "employee_t(idnum.nextval,'John','Double'," +
                        "to_date('21.01.1975','DD.MM.YYYY'), 20000))" +
                        "END;"); Now I am trying to update, and get the error:
      String query = "BEGIN UPDATE employee SET " +
    "first_name ='"+getJtxtfldFirst_name().getText()+"', "+
    "last_name = '"+getJtxtfldLast_name().getText()+"', "+
    "date_of_birth = to_date('1982-03-11','YYYY-MM-DD'), "+
                                     "END; ";
    Statement stmt = con.createStatement();
                   int rs = stmt.executeUpdate(query);
                   stmt.close();The error:
    java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06550: line 1, column 149:
    PLS-00338: unable to resolve "DATE_OF_BIRTH" as a column or row expression
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
    PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignoredI have tried different variants, tried to parse... Just can't find where I make the error.
    If I comment this line, with a date, there are no any exceptions.
    This code in sqlplus works fine.

    And besides that, you don't need to wrap your SQL
    with the PL/SQL "BEGIN" and "END" tags; why invoke
    the PL/SQL parser if you're not using any PL/SQL
    features?
    I suspect your underlying problem is that the column
    isn't actually named "date_of_birth".You are quete right. It was my faulf. There was a field date_of_birthday. The oracle could say it more preciesly.
    With the statement it works fine also.
    Thank you for the answer and sorry for disturbing, I have forgotten to update the database and was sure I copied the new files... But updated the old one.

  • Deploying BMP Entity Bean with primary key calss

    Hi,
    I am using EJB 2.0 with and websphere studio 5.0 and database is sql server 2000.
    My BMP Entity bean has a primary key class.From my client I am invoking the Entity Bean by calling it's findbyprimarykey method.
    The home interface of my findbyprimarykey method returns a class of type Remote.But in the Entity Bean class,the return type is the primarykey class type.
    My problem is invoking this findbyprimarykey from the client to get the remote interface so that the other business methods of the entity bean can be called.
    The control goes into the ejbFindbyPrimaryKey but when it is returing from the Entity Bean class,it gives a remote exception (as the return type in Entity Bean class and Home interface are different for the findbyprimarykey method).
    I think that somewhere in the deployment decriptor in my websphere,i have to specify the primarykey class type,which i am missing out and hence getting the error.
    Please help me out with your advice and solution.
    Thanks
    Rahul Priyadarshi

  • How to display the color of time period and the legend in Calendar view?

    Hi,
    Sorry to disturb you guys with a quite simple question.
    I want to do a calendar view to display the period of absence for the portal user. I've setup the iView but it displays neither the color of time period nor the legend.
    The problem is:
    1) If I test with <i>static legend</i> (that is, I input the time period directly in the form instead of using data service),
       a) I could only define <b>one</b> time period, because it's impossible to map the <i>out</i> port of calendar to <i>in</i> port of form on defining the event as 'goto'.
       b) I can't see the color displayd while deploying although there is just one time period! Neither the legend. I' ve given the label and color of the legend and assigned the action as default in design board. Why it doesn't work?
    2) If I test with <i>dynamic legend</i> following the chapter "<i>Display Date on a Calendar</i>" in the <i>Modeler's Guide</i> of VC;
        I assigned @RECORDNR to 'ID legend field', and used BAPI_ABSENCE_GETLIST as dynamic legend data service to edit the legend, and assigned the color for every ID. But neither color nor legend could kindly appear. What's the problem? Is there any error in the edit of entry list of the legend?
    Please help me! Thanks!!!

    Is there any advice?
    I'll greatly appreciate your help!

  • Unable to write in an external drive

    Hi, everybody:
    I am unable to write or work with the material I have in an external drive. I can see it, but nothing more. I see I have only permission for 'Read only' ('Solo puede leer', in Spanish), but I can't change it because there is no 'lock' to open there, or an evident way to do it. And I don't want to touch things in the System Preferences without knowing.
    What can I do?
    Thank you in advance for your help,
    Remedios.

    Thank you, Barney-15E. I can't reformat the drive, because I have there a lot of valuable stuff. Stuff I need to work with.
    Hey... I'm a little disappointed with this. How is it that this super computer (the iMac is really wonderful, I agree) can't work with a simple hard drive I can use everywhere else..?
    Well, anyway, sorry for disturbing you with my problems. Which one, Paragon, Tuxera, you recommend?
    Thanks again,
    Remedios.

  • Using a text file to make a query

    Hello and sorry to disturb.. but as a newbie I hope to find solution to my problem...
    My users produce a text file that contains for each line an id (primary key).
    My goal is to let them easily use that file as a part of a query that I define. e.g. they provide that list and the interface outputs the values related to those ids.
    I read that is easy to import a file but I haven't understood how I can transform it's content in a query. Or maybe I can create a text field where the user can paste this list but I think that there's the limit of 30kb ...
    Thanks in advance for any answer!
    Simone

    Thanks Vikas for your answer,
    I already looked on the forum searching for all those sub-topics. The only thing that I'm not yet capable is to parse the blob content.. I'm lookin into the forum but I'm not finding what I need.. if you could gently give me the link to the right discussion I'd really apprecciate.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello Marco,
                        To get more details you need to debub the both options as in the logic SAP is calling another report "R_BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN" using submit statement inside the FM "BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN".
    And also befor the submit statement they gad used the EXPORT statement to save the data to the SAP memory.
    Inside the Report  BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN" SAP logic is calling the FM "2002_NETWORK_MAINTAIN" for doing the update.
    So if the Export memory content gets changed due to another execution then the returm value may get changed and end up with conflicts.
    So better you need to debub the both scenarios (SE37 & from program call).
    You can knock out the problem you are facing.
    Hope this answers your question.
    Thanks,
    Greetson

  • Problem with a template method in JDialog

    Hi friends,
    I'm experiencing a problem with JDialog. I have a base abstract class ChooseLocationDialog<E> to let a client choose a location for database. This is an abstract class with two abstract methods:
    protected abstract E prepareLocation();
    protected abstract JPanel prepareForm();Method prepareForm is used in the constructor of ChooseLocationDialog to get a JPanel and add it to content pane.
    Method prepareLocation is used to prepare location of a database. I have to options - local file and networking.
    There are two subclasses ChooseRemoteLocationDialog and ChooseLocalFileDialog.
    When I start a local version, ChooseLocalFileDialog with one input field for local file, everything works fine and my local client version starts execution.
    The problem arises when I start a network version of my client. Dialog appears and I can enter host and port into the input fields. But when I click Select, I get NullPointerException. During debugging I noticed that the values I entered into these fields ("localhost" for host and "10999" for port) were not set for corresponding JTextFields and when my code executes getText() method for these input fields it returns empty strings. This happens only for one of these dialogs - for the ChooseRemoteLocationDialog.
    The code for ChooseLocationDialog class:
    public abstract class ChooseLocationDialog<E> extends JDialog {
         private E databaseLocation;
         private static final long serialVersionUID = -1630416811077468527L;

    What a silly error! I have to call Integer.parseInt instead of getInt. Integer.getInt tries to find a system property. A small misprint, but a huge amount of time to debug. I always use parseInt method and couldn't even notice that silly misprint. Sometimes it's useful to see the trees instead of whole forest :)
    It works perfectly. Sorry for disturbing.

  • PCI wireless card does not work after restart - FM2-A55M-E33

    Installed TP-LINK WN751ND wireless PCI card onto FM2-A55M-E33 motherboard. The card works fine after cold start, but does not work after restart. Windows recognises the card, but it gets code 10, cannot start.
    BIOS is updated (v.11.1), as well as drivers and Windows 7 64.
    I suspect that this might be the issue: Incorrect ASPM Transitions on the GPP Interface as found in ChipsetMotherboard_TechDocs/48671.pdf on AMD's official support site.
    Does anyone know more about this issue?

    Great! I've done that and now my card shows up. Thing is, when I try to get an IP address, it won't work. Here is the command output:
    ieee80211 phy0: wl_ops_config: change monitor mode: false (implement)
    ieee80211 phy0: wl_ops_config: change power-save mode: false (implement)
    ieee80211 phy0: wl_ops_bss_info_changed: qos enabled: false (implement)
    And then it times out and no IP is assigned. The thing is, wpa_supplicant stays alive after this time out, and I am unable to kill it (killall -9 wpa_supplicant won't kill it). At this point if I try to reboot the machine, it will stop at 'Rebooting' and won't go anywhere. If I turn off the wireless card in its switch Linux crashes. If I try to get an ip again (by running dhcpcd) the command will hang and not return to the shell anymore.
    I am unable to find any useful information in the logs.
    Got any more suggestions?
    Thanks! (And sorry to disturb so much)
