Ahhhh just as imagined. The great RIM has nothing to say here. Hey support the phones that you have sold to these people.
Hello,
Perhaps you misunderstood the EULA you agreed to when you signed up for these forums. These forums are not anything to do with formal support. These forums are not a user-to/from-RIM channel of communication. These forums are a user-to-user support community where volunteers try to help out other kind souls to the best of their ability. While RIM reps will sometimes drop by here, such is not to be the expected outcome of any communications on these forums.
All formal support starts with the wireless service providers and authorized resellers. They have the ability to escalate cases into RIM if needed, but the carriers have the responsibility for the front line support for all BB users. That's just the way the support model works.
Lastly, RIM didn't, as you say, sell any phones to anyone. All sales are handled via the authorized channels...and, yes, you guessed it...that's the carriers and authorized resellers.
Hope that helps.

  • Web pages too large

I just purchased a MacBook for the first time and I am having a problem with my web page being too large. I have to scroll almost half the page to read the screen. I have been unable to find a solution to fit the page to the screen. I have been unable so far to find this problem on this sight. Is this normal with Mac? (I hope not). If not is there a solution?

Are you saying that the size of the webpage is too large? i.e font size, text, etc.? Or the application window itself?

  • Page Too Large Error with JHS 10.1.3.2

    Hi,
I have migrated to the new version of JHS (10.1.3.2). According to the JHS documentation the “page to large error” has been fixed in this version but I am still experiencing this problem.
I have checked the boxes for Generate Group in Region File and Generate Search Area in Region File in the app def for the large page that I have in my app. With this done the “page too large” error occurs. I then tried checking the box for Generate in Region File on each item group region on my page but the “page too large” error still happens. None of my item group regions contain that many items (average is about 10 items).
Is any one having the same issues?
    Regards
    Bar

    josealej,
Have you spilt up your items into different regions and selected the option to generate the groups in a region file? If so then you can try setting the "generate in region file" option on each region container. Check out section 4.6.2 in the JHS developers manual.
    Sandra,
Unfortunately I don't have enough free time to debug the problem. I will look into it when my schedule is not as hectic.

  • JSF pages too large to compile

I have a page that contains a large number of textbox controls and message components. When I try to run the page on my test server I get a compile error that the code is too large within a try statement. Is there any server settings that you can change that would up the memory size limit ? The server that I'm deploying to is the test WS server in WSAD5.12.
I know that there is an upper bounds on the absolute memeory that a piece of code must be below, are there any moves to increase this size if jsf pages are requiring too much memory , or is it a limit that we have to live with.
    Thanks for any help

  • Web pages too big

At 2.30 this morning certain web pages expanded so that some parts of them became unreachable. At the same time, the scroll wheel began to zoom just the visible part of the page in and out instead of scrolling up and down. THe second problem stopped after a few minutes, but the first is still evident. It is most commonly found with google products. The pages still appear correctly in IE9

Extensions that do not work properly can also cause Firefox to miss the release of the Ctrl button.<br />
Usually it helps to press down and release those status keys (Shift, Ctrl, Alt) a few times to make Firefox recognize the current state once again.

  • Web pages too big to view without zooming out each one.

I have to zoom out each new web page manually to see it all on the screen.

I lose the percentage +/- buttons at the bottom right that make it easier to zoom out. The oversized pages do not change. Thanks.

  • Web Pages too big for browser

    Hi all
I know about the click issue and power leak and I'm sure they are working on a fix but I'm also experiencing an error msg when surfing the web through my bb browser. Pages I used to be able to open without issue are not opening after an OTA update to 5.0.0.591  Anything I should or could do to access those web pages?
    Thank you.

The browser has always been a bit of a weak point on the BB.

  • MacBook loads web pages too slowly

Since updating to Yosemite, MacBook loads web pages much more slowly.  I did run an Etrecheck report.  If anyone can help me by interpreting it, I will attempt to post it.  Or if you have other suggestions, please advise.  I did change to an alternate DNS server already.

  • Action to save for web leaves too large file size

    HI
In earlier versions of Photoshop I could create an action to batch save photos for the web, setting them to save as 600 by 400 and they would end up about 70kb. I could also stop the action and adjust the file size to a set size. With CS3 no matter what I do the files always end up about 500kb!!!
Is this a bug in CS3 or do I have to do something different?
I have to put the files on my old computer to run the action still in Photoshop 7
    thanks for any help.

I tried to create a 1 pixel blank and it wouldn't save it, I tried a 5 pixel blank, still wouldn't save it so used the Save As and got a 40kb jpg file. Ran the Action and it ended up as 76kb.
Created a 30 pixel blank square and it ended up 40kb too.
Get info on the files reveals the stated file size is correct.
I created and ran the same action on my son's intel iMac running CS3 and the same result. Tried a tiff instead of a jpg and it ended up even bigger. When paused at the Save for Web window, it says the original file is about 800 kb (the reduced size to 600 by 400 from the original image) and it predicts the final web size will be about 65 to 75kb as it should be, depending on the image. But always ends up about 500kb.
Going through the process manually produces the correct result.
    This is getting rather frustrating!!!!!
Would someone be able to try creating the same action on their intel mac running CS3?
All I am doing is reducing the size of say a 3000 by 2000 pixel image to 600 by 400 pixels, applying a very small amount of unsharp mask, then saving for the web to about 70kb. I have the original images in one folder on my desktop and another folder to place the converted files into.
thanks for any more help anyone can offer.
    peter

  • Web pages have large, long blue bars below the iLike box that covers test or pictures.

There are large and long blue bars below the iLike and Recommend boxes. Please help. I can turn off Java and that corrects it, but then some features on other pages don't respond properly. Please help.......I'm losing it!

That may be something similar as the problems that have been reported with pages created with iWeb that are caused by a bug (Bug 662898) that slipped into Firefox 5 and that will be fixed in Firefox 6, due to be released in August.
