Sort-by in WTK Profiler

Can anyone clue me in as to what's going on with the sort-by-column functionality in the WTK20 profiler output? If I sort by anything except "Count" the order is most definitely not sorted. It seems random, nonsensical, and totally unhelpful.

reviewing this old topic: are you sure about what you've said? I tried that now and everything makes perfect sense, from count to % cycles with children. J2ME WTK 2.0 that is.

Has any one encountered command line options (either undocumented or "under-documented") for executing the WTK emulator with profiling on AND automatically saving the profiling information to a file?
Interaction with the WTK profiler GUI should not be always necessary. Thanks

Try to read my post again, please, I think you misunderstood those problem descriptions.
    1. No package-list files - no javaddoc in eclipse 3.2.1. Just try it yourself and you'll see.
    2. You didn't tried do you? The Manager.class is there, but Cipher.class is still missing. That doesn't break anything btw, it is just weird :)

  • Cannot create a new monitor profile

    Is this some issue? thanks.

make a back up if you dont already have one, read those carefully and go down the list. the second option should sort it, and what profiles are you talking about? connectivity or user profile for phone, text, email stuff?

Make sure you back up your data as you will lose all of it when you perform option 2 or 3 on this list. The default code for ALL operations listed here is 12345

  • Cannot create a new profile on my 5800 after facto...

    Hi
I did a search and find nothing related.
I reseted my 5800 to factory settings, after that I'm not able to create new profiles.  I googled this and found that others have had the same issue but I didn't find a fix.
When I go to create new profile the phone does nothing, after this I cannot even change the current profile until I exit profiles and enter again.  Try to create new profile again and can't do it.  If I keep trying the phone freezes
Can you please help me?  Is there a fix for this or I won't be able to create new profiles?  What went wrong with the resetting to factory settings?
    Thanks for your help

  • New line = new hub profile?

Hello, line was connected last night and broadband was immediately steady at 3.5 meg. Happy with that as we're in the middle if nowhere! In light of this fact, the nice openreach chap said that the line was noisy on the calling side of things, even thought broadband seemed ok. He came back out this morning and found us a new line that he said was much better abd switched us over to it (something about trees rubbing cables). Anyway, now our calls are clear with no fuzziness, but out broadband has dropped from 3.5 meg to 0.12 meg! Openreach man is baffled as he said new line is perfect, much better than the old one.
I think the home hub might have had a fit after being connected to the new line, I keep hearing 'Profile' mentioned in the forums abd elsewhere. How can I get my hub to settle down and sort out it's profile to suit this new line?!
I want my 3 meg connection back! Help!

    The speedtest result I did this evening is;
    The hub status currently looks like this;
If i understand things, this means that my line from the exchange has the potential to support 6.4 meg, however my IP profile, as set by BT / the exchange,  is limiting the speed on my line to 0.13 meg?
How can i lift this limit back up to the full 6.4 meg potential?! Any suggestions welcome!

  • To read an authorization profile.

    Hi,
I am trying to provide authorization in a HR report. An administrative person can execute the report. At this momet, a user can see the information of all employees. Instead, the users should be restricted for a group of employees who’s organizational key has been assigned in his authorization profile.  I am trying this with P_ORGIN authorization object.  I can use P_orgin with single static organizational key. But, in this report, I have different sets of organization key for different administrative users. Fot this reason, I will need to read the user’s authorization profile to get the set of organizational key. Can anyone tell me how can I read the authorization profile for a particular user who is using the sytem so that the program can check the set of organizational key.   I am using R/3 version 4.6C.

  • PCG and Windows error - how I fixed

I'll make this post in the hope it might help others.
I was a sufferer of, and an early contributor to, one of the long running PCG error threads.
After several years of successful Premier/Encore authoring with a successful workflow I suffered the dreaded PCG error not long after upgrading to Encore CS3. After a lot of trial and error and help from these forums I finally solved the issue by getting brand new hardware and installing Adobe Premier/AE/Encore/Audition and nothing else on the box. Same workflow and assets, no problems. This rather suggested to me it's not Encore itself that's the problem, nor necessarily the workflow or the assets, but more that some complex interaction within Windows somewhere was responsible. In my case I had a project with 5 timelines, each on a menu, and each timeline had it's PCG solved (before I switched hardware) by a different combination of the 'fixes' suggested here.
On the new hardware same assets/project/workflow - no issues.
At the weekend I was happily knocking out a quick slideshow of a wedding I shot recently when Encore failed at the Create Disc stage with a 'Encore has encountered an error and neads to close' message. Not only did my current project fail, but one that was working a few weeks ago failed also. This strongly suggested it wasn't an asset/workflow issue.
On investigating further I realised that I'd broken my own rules about being rigerous and not installing anything other than Adobe on my PC. As part of sorting out my monitor profiling (specifically the ability to profile each monitor in a dual setup independantly) I'd downloaded and installed a Microsoft 'Colour' feature. It installed itself but also the .NET framework as well as +C++ runtime environment.
I uninstalled all three items and Encore sprang back into life building and burning both the older project as well as my new one.
All of this confirms to me that the problem that Encore presents with is caused by a pretty fundamental interaction somewhere in the bowels of Windows and that whilst the actions of fiddling with settings or assets or any of the other 'fixes' that work for some people some of the time are not really addressing the fundamental problem.
My advice would be to install Adobe video products on a fresh install of Windows and run them and nothing else. Observe 'profession IT' standards of configuration management and things should be OK.
It's not how we maybe envisage running a PC but the hard practicalities of our complex friend make it so.
    Hope this helps someone else.
    Regards
    Pete

    Wow.
It's probably deeper than that. I have both the .NET framework and the latest C++ runtime installation from Microsoft, and I cannot reproduce this error even if I handle my assets badly.
Rodger Ling may be correct. This may be some deep hardware/software conflict that only appears on certain hardware configurations when certain other software is involved.
Unfortunately, that would make it nearly impossible to track down the bug and squash it without some serious user input on *complete* hardware and software configurations.
Thanks for posting your fix; likely it will help someone else who runs into this issue.

  • What matter with a pdf  with Reader Extensions when it's open with Acrobat profesional?

    Hi all
I'm trying to learn about the functionality of LC using Tour de LiveCycle. It is an exceptional documentation!
I'm taked the 2 examples about reader extensions functionnality:
    PurchaseOrderExtended.pdf and PurchaseOrder.pdf
I've open PurchaseOrder.pdf with acrobat profesional and...I could insert comments, save as, signed the pdf...
Opening it with  Acrobat Reader this is not possible
    Then
If the company decide to produce a PDF with the "1, 2, 3" funcionalities of reader extensions but not enabling the "4 and 5" funcionalities.....
Someone that opens this PDF with acrobat profesional has the "1,2,3,4 and 5" functionalities available
    Then
The  functionality strategy of the company based on the pdf it's not operative!
    Where is the mistake?
    TIA

There are two possible philosophies for Reader Extensions:
    1) That it is a scheme to limit the the actions that one can take on a PDF; think of this as a sort of a security profile operation
    2) To provide PDF-based access to capabilities on the PDF without having to buy the full Acrobat Standard/Pro.
Reader Extensions is much more model 2 than model 1.  The goal is to allow people to save filled-in forms, sign pdf or comment on the pdf without having to have the full Acrobat std/pro licensed for their desktop.  So two other things derive from this:
    a) That people who have the full Acrobat version should be able to do anything to the file that they desire
    b) But also that they should be aware of actions that they might take on the PDF that would change the file so substantially that it would lose its rights and the ability of downstream Reader users to act on the file.
This (2, and then a and b) is the basic philosophy of Reader Extensions and Acrobat.

You should consult with Oracle about this. If nothing else has changed except the database version, why would it be the fault of Java or BEA?

No one else can guess based on the little information you've provided. Better sort that out. Profile both and see where the time is being spent.

  • Monitor SQL in real-time?

    Greetings, everyone.
I am new to SQL Developer and I am trying to find a way to monitor what SQL statements are executing in a real time fashion. Sorta like a SQL profiler. Thanks.

Select Tools - Monitor Sessions from the menu and select a connection to run it against.
You can specify a refresh interval by clicking on the drop down list next to Refresh in the toolbar.
If you select a session, current information about that session is displayed in 1 of 6 tabs in the bottom half of the window. One of these is current SQL.
You can also specify a refresh interval for the sub-report.
If you want a view of all sql across sessions, try one of the Top SQL reports Under data dictionary reports, database administration, top sql.

  • Open Document Icon Missing for PO Reqs but working for POs

    Hi All,
If there are POs and PO requisitions that are awaiting for your approval. You would typically go to Purchasing super user -> Notification Summary -> Worklist choose po/poreqs -> click Open document link to view/make changes prior approving.
The Open Document Link is woking when you open POs but missing for PO Reqs. I went through many docs such as (Metalink doc 356969.1). But unsuccessful. I am think it’s some sort of setup/configuration/profile that needs to be changed.
My Problem is to get the missing Icon for PO Reqs too. Does anyone has info please help me. I dont even know where to look for. Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Kalyan.

  • Strange User Account behaviour at Log In - not solved re duplicate thread

This morning I cold booted my laptop and strangely after signing in it declared that it was "Preparing Windows." I was then taken to a desktop with empty Documents etc. folders. Panicking I went to the User Accounts and found all my folders and data intact but not accessible through the "account" I had been forced to log in to. Licensed software that was not installed as multiple user wouldn't show as licensed so I must assume that some sort of default new profile had been created. However, in User Accounts there didn't seem to be anything new.
In addition to my account and that of my wife there were three other folders that I am sure have always been there. (1) Default (with user empty subfolders) (2) An alphanumeric (temp?) folder ... empty except for Appdata / Local / Temp ... itself empty (3) UpdatusUser - used by Nvidia to update the graphics driver (with user empty subfolders) (4) Public - usual subfolders.
I solved the problem by logging out and logging back in with my usual login credentials. (Switching user didn't work).
What happened please and how can I prevent it happening again?

  • Lightroom 3, Epson R2400 and the dreaded magenta cast

A customer called me to say her printer was broken and nothing she could do would make her Epson R2400 print accurately from Lightroom on her iMac running Snow Leopard. I visited expecting to have to sort out a double profiling issue or a clogged printer.
However, this was not the case. A nozzle check revealed very mild clogging on the light cyan cartridge but nothing too bad and it cleared quickly. Checking the print settings in Lightroom and the Epson driver settings suggested that there wasn't a problem there either - colour managed by a profile in Lightroom with printer colour management turned off. A couple of test prints resulted in images with a definite over-all magenta cast. Plodding through threads on this forum and others came up with all the usual profile issues which I reckoned were not applicable in this case. Still, I downloaded and reinstalled the Epson driver and also the icc profiles for the papers being used, in this instance those supplied by Permajet, in case there was some corruption. The problem persisted.
Now there are a lot of speculative solutions out on the web, some of them involving tweaks to the OS, others recommending monitor profiling (not the problem here) and some suggeting the use of elaborate presets to distort the colours to a printable result. None of these seemed useful - the screen colour was fine and the histograms weren't unbalanced in a magenta direction. It should just work.
Then I wondered about the little 16 Bit checkbox. What if I ticked that? Result - PERFECT. Lovely colour immediately. Now, I'm not sure why printing in 16 Bit should sort out the magenta cast in this case but it does. There is a general opinion, even in books such as that by Martin Evening, that 16 Bit is an interesting option but not vital. In the case outlined here it is vital.
So, if you are having magenta cast problems try ticking the 16 Bit box. It may just save your last clumps of hair from being torn out.

I wouldn't argue with you re the R2400 and its capabilities as it isn't mine and I didn't have any of its literature while trying to get to the bottom of the problem. The profiles I tried were Epson's own and a Permajet one from their website. Both produced magenta results until 16 Bit was turned on, or at least that seemed the trigger for the better results. Unexpected, I agree.

  • Synchronous calls with axis and wireless toolkit

    This isn't work.....
                   resultado = stub.Echco("a string...");
    System.out.println(resultado);
stub doesn't wait to the result and resultado doesn't change.
PD: how to search in this forums?

wtk doesn't provide profiler interface. You have to use built-in wtk profiler.
