Sort contacts so that "online" (green) are at the ...

Is it possible to sort my contact list so that the greens are at the top and the yellows at the bottom?
In recent years more and more Skype users are staying logged in all the time. That means their status can be "away" for hours, if not days or weeks at a time. They might as well be offline completely for all the good it would do to contact them. Skype doesn't seem to have changed in response to this change in user habits.
So I want to sort the yellows (who it's probably a waste of time contacting) to the bottom of the contact list and the greens (who are truly available) to the top. I can't figure out how to do it. Is it possible?

you can change the accounts of different apps in the phone's settings menu.

Please correct your porfile: iPhone 4 do not have IOS 6.1.4.
The usual troubleshooting steps are, also remember to test it after every step:
1. Restart
2. Reset
3. Restore from backup
4. Restore as new.
If no joy, make an Appointment with the Apple genius and have them evaluate

Yes, many times. If you are setup to "extend a wireless network, the screen looks like this:

Where is it on this screen that you see a setting to adjust the channel? It sounds like you are confusing "create a wireless network"....which does allow you to adjust channels.....with "exend a wireless network" which does not.
Normally, when you extend a wireless network, AirPort Utility used to always assign the same channel to the extending device. That is no longer the case. It might be the same, or it might be different. You have no control over this, so you have to accept what AirPort Utility thinks is best.

How can I delete movies from my iPad that it thinks are in the cloud?

I noticed that I was running out of space on my 32 GB iPad Air running iOS 7.1, so I looked at my pictures and moved them to iCloud and then deleted most of my un-used apps. This did not help in the gaining back a ton of space. So I looked at my videos. I have purchased content from itunes through the apple tv, and have watched some of it on my iPad. It is not clear to me if it downloads those files when I do this or if they are streaming like on my Apple TV.
Anyway, when I hit the edit button in the video section none of the videos display the little "x" symbol letting you know that you can delete them. Instead, all of them show the "cloud" symbol even the movies and TV shows I watched. So I then turned on airplane mode and went back to Videos. I thought no wi-fi = no connection to the cloud = list of videos stored locally. This is where it gets weird. The majority of the "Purchased" items normally shown with the "cloud" symbol were not there, however the videos that I had watched were listed and still had the "cloud" symbol on them. They even played in airplane mode like they were stored locally. The problem occurs when I go to delete them. When I hit the edit button I cannot select these videos, it is treating them as if they are in the cloud even though I know they are taking up space locally.
Is anybody elese having this problem?

Based on previous discussions and in this thread I went to I went to Settings > General > Usage > Storage > Show all Apps > Videos. My iPad Air indicates no data. Sync movies and TV are unchecked in iTunes.
iTunes is showing I have 12.61GB of data and 92 videos.
Any other ideas?

My contacts on iPhone and Mac are not the same

Can someone advise me how do I get my Contacts on my Mac to be the same as my iPhone. My main contacts is in my iPhone but my Mac shows less contacts.

To sync them with iCloud, you'll need to copy them to the iCloud account and then disable contact syncing with your exchange account (so you don't see duplicate contacts on your phone). To do this, do the following:
Go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to Off, choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (any iCloud contacts will still be in iCloud).
Download the app My Contacts Backup. (If you have more than 500 contacts to transfer you will need the “Pro” version. If you aren't sure how many you have, get the free version. It will tell you if you have over 500 contacts when you run it.) Use the app to back up the remaining contacts on your phone (from your exchange account) as a vCard attachment to an email. Send this email to yourself and confirm that you have received it.
Go to Settings>iCloud and turn Contacts back to On.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contacts section) and set this to iCloud.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars…tap your exchange account and turn contacts syncing off.
Open the My Contacts Backup email and tap the attachment to import the contacts from your exchange account back to your device, and to iCloud. All your contacts should now be in iCloud and appear on icloud.com and your Mac.

Imessages on macbook not working. All contacts/conversations that used imessage are now switched to google talk/jabber.

imessage on my macbook has always had a few bugs...it never recieved imessages sent from other friends with iphones right away, maybe upon next start up it would, but the messages would all come out of order. It could send out messages that would then also show up on my iphone 5s.
As of today, all my conversations that were going on my imessages no longer have the contact names associated with them, just the phone numbers, and they show as offline. The text field shows that the conversations are in Google Talk (which is offline) but each of those phone numbers is associated to someone I know with an iphone and they should be imessages, not google talk buddies. I don't even have all those numbers stored in my google accounts.
I have tried altering settings both on my phone and my laptop so that only my imessages account is logged in or active and have deselected google talk, but none of the contacts come back up. Icloud is set to sync contacts with my phone and with imessages.
How can I get my contacts back under imessages?

I have seen this with a actual Jabber account that was using Facebook chat as the Buddy list.
This seemed to loose the Real Names from the Contacts app even though the details still seemed to be in that app.
The issue was traced in that case to an issue with the Facetime server (the Facebook Chat server is supposed to check with the main server and uses this to verify "real names" and this can bypass the Mac's own Contacts app if you are not syncing with Facebook.
Have you tried restarting the computer ?

One of my team members has access the other one doesn't what's up with that. Both are on the same payment account.

Since I posted I've been looking at old posts under the tag "sorting_albums" and found a very detailed explaination from "turingtest2" which includes your solution along with other great info. Only trouble is it looks like there's a bunch of editing work I have to do. Before the recent download I had gone through my 500 albums and had everything sorting the way I wanted it. FrameMaker 10 - Topics that contain xrefs are causing the program to freeze

When I try to open a topic that contains a xref element with a valid href attribute, the program freezes for more than 5 minutes. This has caused significant problems with using this editor as our topics contain an extensive amount of xrefs.
Does anyone have any idea on why this is happening or is there a fix I need to install to correct this issue?

It's probably hanging because there is no call to Printer.EndDoc after you call Printer.Paintpicture. See this KB for more information.

I have25 movies in itunes and non sync with the ipad. it shows that say 4 are on the device, but when I go to the Video appl, other movies that I didn't select are listed. What is causing me not to be able to sync my movies to the device?

Yes, I have checked off each of the 4 movies and did not click on the "manually manage videos & photos". At one point I even scratch the entire ipad and started it as "new", and added everything back on ....... they did display at first (the 4 movies), but the next time I synced, it went back to the over movies and the 4 movies disappeared .......

This setting takes advantage of the Guided Access accessiblity feature in iOS. In order to do it remotely, you will need to rely on an MDM (mobile device management) solution to make that happen. We use JAMF's Casper Suite in our school district. They have a product called Casper Focus that allows our teachers to lock/unlock and "foucs" students into a specific app on their iPads. I like it

HT202332 Suggestion: The emoji files should be vectors so that when they are expanded, the quality isn't lost.

In applications such as snap chat where the modification of text and characters is permitted, the emojis take on a very unpleasant look to them becoming very pixelated and distorted. I'm not sure if this issue has been raised yet, but wouldn't a vector file type for the icons fix this? The fonts all have this so why can't the emojis?

i'll go first. everything was fine until last night i installed "Urbanspoon".
since then the battery drains fast. and yes, push, wifi, location, is turned off. auto brightness is at half, checking all the setting, nothing i can see would cause this drain.

How about Remote? If you aren't using it, do you have Stay Connected turned off?
