Sort Key In Vendor Master not working

Hi,
I have selected the sort key 010 (Purchase Order No.) in vendor master but the PO no is not getting updating in Assignment field in Vendor line itmes.
When check vendor line itmes in FBL1N Assignment filed shows as blank only.
Can any one advice me what config I missed. Also I wnat to know where we define these sort keys in SPRO.

Dear Deepak,
As stated the SAP note 152335:
"...it is no longer possible to enter a unique purchasing document
number in the customer/vendor line item. Field BSEG-EBELN is not filled
in the vendor line item and therefore cannot be displayed in the line
item display for customers/vendors."
Therefore this is the Standard System Design not Your customizing fault.

hi,
use of sort key is basically for the Account person.
when document is posted in MIRO it is liable to to pay for that vendor.
now account person can see the list of that document in his report FB03.
wherein he can see the reference of that document with the help of SORT KEY.
e.g
say if sort key is selected as PO no and Po item.
then in FB03 he can see the
accounting document with reference of PO no and item no in PO.

Sort Key 0014 (Purchase Order) not updated in Assignment Field

Hi SDN experts,
I assigned Sory Key 0014 to one of my vendors, after which I tried to post a PO, GR and eventually the IR.
However, upon checking the FBL1N report, system does not populate it with the Purchase Order Number.
Any step I missed out?
Also, the Purchasing Document number is empty. Shouldn't this be populated by the invoice document? (MIRO)

In FBL1N, PO will not be displayed in the Assignment field just by giving Sort Key as Assignment Field. You need to implement BTE 1650 in FIBF and write your code to populate it. The logic why sort key of PO will not populate it , because from Version 4 onwards, R/3 aqllows, single Invoice Verification against Multiple PO. Even in the BTE Implementation, you will be able to populate only the First PO Line Item No only, if you do a single invoice verification against multiple PO of the Vendor.

Short key for copy does not work all the time now.

After I have installed the latest OSX - Yosemite, my short key for copy does not work all the time. It is infrequent how it works. I'm using the same keyboard that I have always used, my wireless logitech keyboard for mac. Please help.

I've plugged in my default mac keyboard and the short key copy still does not work.

Few keys in Keyboard is not working.

Few days back my laptop( HP Pavilion G6) screen got froze(Laptop starting but no display, caps key blinking 3 times) so i checked on internet and come to know its may be because of error in memory module. So i put my RAM in other slot. Now my laptop started but a new issue occured.
Now my caps, B,N ,Del keys in keyboard is not working. I am using Windows 7(64 bit)
Please help me with this issue.

Please find the steps given below might help you to fix your issue.
Go to device manager & uninstall the keyboard driver and restart the unit.
Please update the driver for Bios.
Try doing a system restore to the date where unit was working fine.
Open command prompt type the letter and check if does not work you might have to replace the keyboard itself.
Let us know how it goes!

Some keys don't work as expected
From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
From the View menu, choose Speech.
Click the Text to Speech tab.
If "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" is enabled, the key or key combination set to speak text cannot be used for other purposes or used to type text--click Set Key and change it to a less-commonly used key combination (try to use modifier keys such as Shift, Command, Option, and Control). Or, disable the "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" option.
Click the Universal Access pane in System Preferences, click the Keyboard tab.
Make sure that Slow Keys is turned off. With Slow Keys on, you need to press a key for a longer period of time for it to be recognized.
In the Universal Access pane, click the Mouse tab, and make sureMouse Keys is turned off. With Mouse Keys enabled, you cannot use the Numeric Keypad to enter numbers--instead the keypad moves the pointer (cursor). (There is an option to enable Mouse Keys with five presses of the Option key; you may want to turn that option off to avoid accidentally enabling it.) Hi, thanks for tying to solw my problem. I found that I have set up 3 defferent keys to start defferent programs. I have assigned capitol "c" for start a gmail massege, "r" dose not do anything, and shift plus "g" also starts the gmail to creat masege.
I just do not remember where I did it in sys window I tried all the icons and no luck.
If you would know where to find the coresponding program to change it back please let me know.

Control key (^) combined shortcuts does not work on mac book pro

All shortcut combinations with the control key (^) do not work. I´m using Mac Book Pro 13 (late 2013) with Os X Mavericks 10.9.4

The Logic Board is the Main system board. In the Windows world better known as the Motherboard. Except with Apple Mac computers the CPU and the GPU are Soldered to the logic board and if it is a Retina screen model the RAM is also Soldered to it.
So replacing the Logic board is like replacing the compete system and costs accordingly.
But there isn't much else you can do if you can't get that switch unstuck. Or just go without sound from the built in speakers. They aren't that good anyway.

in the master data (control data) of the G/l account XXXXXX (it's a reconciliation account) I've filled in the sort key the value ZZ1 (XBLNR).
Instead, in the master data of a certain customer which has its Reconciliation Account equal to xxxxxx, I've filled in the sort key ZZ2 (BELNR).
Posting a document, I need that the Assignment number is equal to XBLNR.
How could I obtain this?

You are assign short key with Customer master in ZZ1 (Account Management Tab Bottam).

Sorting for the procedure is not working

can you help why the sorting is not working here.I am running the below procedure to sort asc and desc and when I do sort in descending order by a different column it gives me a different rows sorted in desc order. what i
want the proecdure to do it to sort the recordset in asc and desc order without changing the selected rows

Are you really saying you don't want a WHERE clause at all in the main query: that you always want the cursor to contain all rows from itemlist that meet the 3 hard-coded conditions:

If so, change the main query WHERE clause:

Keys on Apple keyboard not working

Hi Apple Folks
I don't know why some keys of my iMac keyboard stop working after not using the iMac Mid 2007 for a while.
It is a Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad, still looks like brand new. There is no any physical damage to the keyboard, the iMac and the keyboard just left there not in use for two years.
The bad keys are ESC, TAB, CAPS LOCK, DELETE , \, and RETURN of the character keys area, also the 0 on keypad. All the other keys work perfectly as they were.
Per an Apple KB article, i have confirmed these bad keys by using the Keyboard and Character Viewer of OS X.
Any hints to fix the keys please?

OK, do some very basic resets of your system. The first two you may need to do 3x as they don't always work the first time. For instructions click Intel iMac SMC and PRAM resets
If those do not work then restart in Safe Mode and then restart normally.

Keys on the Keyboard not working.

A couple keys on my keyboard are not working. The Y is one of them. Every time I click Y it makes this noise but it doesn't type Y. I know the problem is not with the hardware because I replaced the keyboard with a brand new one and it still is the same. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you very much for your time.

Open the Speech pane of System Preferences and check what the Speech and Listening keys are; if necessary, change the setting.
