Sorting out accounts

Who do I contact to arrange a meeting with the director responsible for accounts.
After last months fiasco where I was charged twice, eventually I got it back.
This month I tried to make a one off payment using a BT Credit card, all looked OK and I got an email confirmation that it was paid. Later I got an email saying that the payment could not be processed.
I phoned accounts and was told the account was clear and it shows as paid on the on line account.
How can I tell if I have paid.
I think I must meet with a director so we can get the accounts department sorted out, I am quite prepared to go to the head office and wait until I can see him, but much more civilised to make an appointment.

Hi all call centres regardless of who the company is use scripts asyou call them as you saythepayment was made ok it can only be putdown as one of those mysteries I have had similar inference my self not with bt I may add one wayof checking should that ever happen again(unlikely) you could try logingout of the BT website going backin again and then checkingthe payment history. Tab this will show the latest payment made and all past payments hope that may help you

    If the accounts are on the same computer, you should not have to use a different e-mail address. If your son's account is not an Administrator account, this may be the issue. Are you able to launch VirusBarrier from your son's account from Applications>Intego?

    Yes I am able to do that and the issue that we were having seems to have settled down after the computer crashed and I restarted it by resetting PRAM and repairing the disk. Can you help me understand what to do about the issues that the console in utilities is logging frequently? both before and since the crash yesterday; (see below)

    Here's my latest list of complaints to Intego regarding Family Protector. I thought it should be shared:
    I have been using Family Barrier for a couple of years now, and may I say, it has so many problems that as soon as I can find a better alternative, I'm gone. Until that day, however, I expect some solutions.
    Issue #1: The application is 100% unreliable. The chances of it doing its job on any given day are seriously 50/50. Or worse. This alone renders the program useless. But that's not all.
    Issue #2: It's unbelievably easy to override. Are you seriously unaware that all one has to do is change the date on the computer to one before Family Barrier was installed, it will 100% not do its job. Awesome. This is straight out of Hacking 101, and any program should be able to defend against it. Otherwise, any demo I try download can be made to work forever. While some are, most are not. Get it together, People.
    Of course, making time changes impossible can be done from my end by the keeping admin password unknown to the protected user, but what if the protected user needs admin access? That happens to be my case. Nonetheless, I was willing to block admin access to fix the problem until you could tell me that YOU'VE done your job and taken care of it (you will tell me that, right?). But then I was left with Issue #1 (remember? the one where it only works 50% of the time at best?), so what's the point?
    I thought I'd try reinstalling it again, just for fun. I've done this before and it's worked TEMPORARILY (tell me the truth, would you pay for an application that constantly had to be re-installed so that it would work for a while? the truth, now). Why am I not surprised that now even that simple process is f'ing up. I punch in my name and serial and it won't accept it. Is there no end to the awesomeness? Somehow, I think that there is not.
    It's especially frustrating that there is no support number for me to call, forcing me to have to go through THIS process, which makes your job so much easier and is so much less helpful for your customers) just to get any answers... eventually.

    Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
    Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
    Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
    The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
    Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

  • My credit card no longer exists how can the online subscription now be sorted out by my company

    My credit card used for the CC subscription no longer exists - the card was being debited monthly. How can my company sort out the payment and how can I ensure my usage of CC is not stopped in the interim. I have tried the chat helpline several times but although it says there are consultants available the second screen always says there are several customers before me and I never get helped.

    I am stuck with a similar problem. I moved from Ireland to the UK but for some reason, iTunes would not let me change the country in my payment information, it remains Ireland. I do not have any credit to spend and I still cannot change it. I even set up a new iTunes account and the country still remains uncangable. Hence, I cannot add the details of my UK card as iTunes believes it is set in Ireland. Have you managed to solve your problem?

  • Help required sorting out an iTunes Library...

    I desperately need help sorting out my current iTunes configuration. Since 2008 when I purchased my current iMac my partner and I have had one main library for iTunes stored in the 'Shared' folder. Both iTunes were authorised with each others accounts which worked perfectly well. Since then we have both purchased iPhones, both have iTunes accounts/Apple IDs and I now have an iPad and MacBook Pro. I also have an iTunes Match. It's become apparent that due to the complexity of how iTunes works this is no longer a good set up, as when my partner tries to download previous purchases he gets the 'This computer is already associated with an Apple ID'. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to sort this out???
    Basically we both want to have iTunes Match accounts but want the ability to share our music. Is there any way to do this? Would it be better splitting the library into two?
    Please, please help - this is really doing my head in!

    What you are asking for is not directly possible in Aperture for several reasons - you will have to accept a work-around.
    Aperture is a Single User Application - the Library must not be accessed by more than one user at a time.
    Aperture is not a network Application - the Library ought to be installed on a local volume, not a remote drive.
    Using the referenced masters to access the edits to your images will not work, since the masters always stay in their original pristine state. All edited versions are included in your Aperture Library. You will not see any edits when you inspect the masters. And any change to the master image files by external programs is extremely risky and may result in broken references.
    All these arguments together don't leave you much leeway for an easy solution. One workflow - the one I adopted - is the following: keep a small Aperture library on an external drive; that drive can be small and easy to carry. This Library contains only the last recent projects that still need editing with all master image files as managed masters, and for older projects only good previews to allow to browse and to grade and tag those images.
    All other  masters are stored on an external drive connected to my desktop computer.
    The small drive is easy to carry and does not bother me much.
    All other solutions - sharing the Library over the network are not save and have caused trouble.
    To back up your master image files you can create a disk image of the volume the are on from time, and also back them up right on import - their is a setting in the import panel.

    My account was charged for buying app that I actually didn't buy. I was trying to sort out these mistake by calling the support number given (Russia). There was no other options like sending an email or calling some other number. I was on hold for one hour and a half! Is that normal for Apple support??? So apart from being charged for the app I haven't given my permission to buy, I also got a phone bill for calling the only support number available. Where can I submit my complain and what could be done about it?

    Can anyone tell me, if the warranty period on my laptop has not passed, can i return my laptop to toshiba and have all my issues sorted out. Would there be a cost to do whatever repairs software related needs be done and how i am supposed to go about it because my laptop is beginning to have all sorts of little errors, i noticed that my harddrive has 156gb used although i have about 60 gigs in use.
    A couple multimedia buttons aren't working but i touch them, my touchpad doesn't turn off with the hard button unless i turn it off using the FN key and my processor runs low but when i use a program i see it's reaching between 85 to 100% utilization.
    I really like this laptop, but the issues i'm having i highly doubt it should operate this way.

    Software issues are not covered by warranty!
    This means that you will have to pay for everything if the ASP technician would not find any problems!
    This is why you should recover the notebook in order to check if its only a software related issue.

    Reinstall the VAP (value added package) and flash cards utility

    This is not a bug or hardware problem. You will notice this CPU behavior because the CPU supports an feature which helps to save the power and reduce the heat dissipation

    When you install the new iWork version, the old iWork version is kept, so it looks like you are opening your old version.
    To fix this, open a Finder window, choose Applications in the sidebar and drag the new Numbers version to the Dock, so you can access to it quickly. Open all documents from this version. I don't recommend you to delete the old Numbers version in case you need it.

    I need an algorithm that is based on the same sorting-algorithm that Labview uses (or one that is just as fast) but it only needs to sort out the N lowiest elements (and the N-element output array don't need to be sorted).

    Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your browser's cache before you try downloading.  If it continues to present that error try using a different browser.
    As far as getting to a chat link goes, it can be hit or miss...  Start Here  If after selecting relevant responses you are unable to find a solution, choose "Still need help? Contact us." and the chat contact option.

    Back up your iTunes before doing any sorting.  If you remove something you didn't intend to then a backup is the best way to get it back.

    It was tele tech. I couldn't open my Page Numbers etc. Frist tech chat idiot - following dumping few things in bin, asked me yo upgrade to Yosemite. But the problem still persists. This morning I was asked to do it via telephone and like yesterday, after wasting 20 min, I was put to this apparent Tech Queen ( my foot!). She eventually decided to reinstall  Yosemite asked me to connect my external drive while I connected to her. She was moving cursor asking me to move files and delete and I followed her like a dummy. It took 3/4 hours and she called me 3 times once the lengthy process was completed. I suspected from the beginng for the fact that why should be asking me to click all my backup from the very beginning! Eventually she said I deleted... Or someone else or may be my children ! It was a blatant lie. I run my small business from home and I was simply staying in front of the Mac whole day! Children were at school. Then she said I must have used another computer! I only have laptop and the iPad. I will talk to their manager first thing in the morning. In the mean time please let me know as to how can I transfer photos, music etc back to my laptop from my Iphone and IPad .? I am will connect to laptop as I am worried the new BLANK iPhoto may supersede iphone/iPad stuff? Will it? Please let me know. I am not a very tech savvy person. My son who could help me, is in Manchester Uni and Inam in London.
