SOS! iOS6 doesnt install!

When updating iPhone 4s I am getting "Unable to install update. An error occured installing iOS 6". After that the phone demands to be connected to iTunes but when I connect it via USB, the program doesnt recognize it. Now am have no phone and no update. Anybody knows what to do?

GPS not working in IOS6 when installed on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4?

Can somebody confirm that GPS location data (not from cell or wifi) is no longer functioning in IOS6 when installed on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4?

I have the same issue exept my phone doesn't ring for incoming calls. I've tried every fix, restored the phone and spent over an hour on the phone with Apple Care doing a second restore. The supervisor told me that he hadn't heard of the issue at all and came to the conclusion that I'd somehow broken the silent switch and that I'd have to pay $150 to have it repaired, despite my insistance that it was obviously a software issue since the problem started immediately after I updated to iOS 6. Total BS. I want this issue resolved immediately considering that the phone is virtually useless to me if I have to carry it around and continually check for notifications and incoming texts, phone calls, etc.

My iTunes doesnt install correctly, it says i have to reinstall to burn any cds or dvds. Also, my ipod touch isnt recognized. so i investigated a little bit, and after reinstalling & deinstalling a few times through software, i noticed that AMDS is structurally not installed. also the itunes installer performs a rollback at some point in the installation. I dont know where exactly, cos the only info the installer gives is copying files -.-
I have a windows XP, and i have downloaded the newest version of itunes. please help!

Why bluetooth software doesnt install

Hi,
I had to format my system due to a virus attack. After reinstalling the (Windows Vista) I found that the buetooth is non functional. I downloaded the program from this link in this same site

The songs being synced to my iphone would get corrupted and then everytime i plugged in my ipod or iphone itunes said they needed to be restored but that didnt work so i uninstalled itunes and now when i try to install it it doesnt install.

At first everytime i tried to sync songs to my iphone the songs got corrupted and wouldnt play or they would skip. Then my ipod and my iphone wouldnt sync and itunes said they needed to be restored to factory settings, I tried doing that a few times and it never would work, the restore would run into various errors and never work out. I recentlly tried uninstalling itunes to see if that would help but now when i try to install and download itunes it doesnt work and the install runs into an error.
Also my ipod is stuck in recovery mode but my itunes doesnt even read the fact that its there. Can someone please help.

Actually, it´s not me having any problems...it´s my 65-year old mother who is familiar with iOS6, but I helped here install iOS7 and since then she´s constantly complaining about the iOS7.
I hope "the problem" will diminish the upcoming weeks, but I´t would be great to get some help answering the question: " WHY is 7 better than 6? "

Flash player plugin under win 7 64 bit IE doesnt install

i have a acer laptop with win 7 64bit. i am using microsoft internet explorer 11 and want to install the flash player. the installclient install the activex version (32 bit) but it doesnt insall the plugin version. all the other pluggins are in 32 bit as well. I dont know why but the work. what do i do wrong? what can i do?

Desktop software 5 doesnt install

I unpacked my new BB curve 8520, tried to install desktop software from the CD. Doesnt work. I get the message that the installtion was interrupted. I stopped antivirus. Still didnt work. I downloaded desktop software from the net. Same result. I tried to install from the CD via the exe and msi directly. Didnt work. Im installing on a XP professional laptop with the newest service packs.
Any idea, folks?

I ran a diagnostic program and found an old desptop 4.2.2 installation. Fortunately the msi was still available. I deinstalled 4.2.2 and installed 5.

Apple Mobile Device doesnt install

When i installed itunes 10, apple mobile device did not install... i uninstaled everything and reinstalled it but it still doesnt work.. anyone has any ideas on how to get apple mobile device?

I have also encountered this. Though for me it is progress. Previously I couldn't even get iTunes 10.6 to install. It has finally done that after some assistance from Apple phone support. I apparenlty had to uninstall all Apple "stuff" in a particular sequence and essentially remove any and all security and access limitations for my entire PC and run as admin for it to install properly. But now AMDS will not install. I extracted the install files and tried to run the .msi alone and I got an error saying "Could not open key: whole bunch of stuff". Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel. Thing is I am administrator on my system (as I assume most are) so why is it locked out? I have no idea. When I right click/properties on the .msi to see this key under the security tab I see several "Account Unknown" keys (I assume these are the problem) along with my user account and the administrator acct. I have no idea where these came from but on each of the Unknown ones there is a red ? beside the user icon. And checking permissions for all of them they all have full control available so I'm at a loss as to what is blocking me. And these broken/unknown accounts that Apple seems to have a problem with are not actually user accts on my system.
When chatting with the Apple tech he said there is an issue with the 64bit version of Windows 7 and iTunes 10.6.
Now 10.6 has been out for a while so why hasn't it been hotfixed or updated to make these things go away?
I don't know how to get around this. While trying to get iTunes to install I was trying previous versions that I used to have installed before 10.6 and I think 9.7 or something installed (would not run) and AMDS installed without issue. I may download that again and try to install that version of AMDS and see if it gives me less grief

IAS sp3 evaluation copy doesnt install although the installation looks ok?

When I install IAS sp3 evaluation copy on my machine after installing the web server, The installation of the iAS sp3 goes thru without showing any errors but not a single file or folder is created on the Win2k Sp2 machine. The loopback adpter has been added bcoz we have DHCP here. Can you tell me whats wrong?. The IAS server doesnt even really install on my machine.

Yes, this is a well known issue which has been discussed several times in this forum. This problem is mainly because of the corruption in the file while downloading. If you are very sure on the host & DNS setting, static ip address, then this is the only issue. The only best solution is to try the download again. Please let me know if this helps for me to help you further on this.

SOS ! problem installing iTunes :(

Hi everybody ! Just bought an IPOD NANO 4 GB 3rd GEN and Im totally frustrated coz I can’t use it. The problem is that I'M NOT ABLE TO INSTALL ITUNES on my computer which has the following configuration OS-Windows XP PRO (service pack 1), AMD Athlon 64 processor, 2.01 GHz and 1 GB RAM.
After downloading and opening the setup of iTunes it always gives the message – “iTunesSetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application”. What is the solution ? Please Help !!!!!

Looks like your iTunes download was somehow corrupted. Clear your browser's cache and download it again.

11g on linux x64 doesnt install lib32 libraries

noob question...I have installed 11.2.0.1 on CentOS 5.3 (RHEL 5) x64 and have noticed there is no $ORACLE_HOME\lib32 directory. Is this normal? My application requires the 32bit client library (libclntsh.so), so how do i go about getting this installed?

well thats what i did...installed the x86 client to a new location and manually copied the 32bit libclntsh.so from that client into the $ORACLE_HOME/lib32 directory of the server. My app is happy now.
