SOST sending notification for faulty fax by mail?

Hello,
we in our company send orders by Fax. There is a job sending all our fax and mails (using programm: RSCONN01).
the job also sends notification by fax to the sender in the SOST.
the new request wants me to change that. if there is a faulty fax, the creator of the fax should be informed by mail.
i'm searching for the right point to intervene. Is there any possibility to answer this request without changing the SAP functional module?

I think you should set (if it's possible) that control on server fax: SAP sends the fax to the server, if server receives it, the sending is ok for SAP

Send Notifications for Purchasing Documents Concurrent Program fails

Hi,
We have Oracle EBS 11i (11..5.10) - Oracle Financials and Order Management implemented on Single Node Windows 2003.
Send Notifications for Purchasing Documents Concurrent Program is scheduled to run every 10 minutes and sometimes Completes with Error.
Due to this other Concurrent Requests arr going to Pending Normal.
During this time a pop-up window appears on the server's console with message like 'FNDLIBR.exe has encountered errors......' with OK button. Once I click the OK button other Concurrent Request are able to Run and completes.
Usually the Send Notifications for Purchasing Documents Concurrent Program completes normally in 1 min or less. The ones that Completes with Error have run for more than 2-3 hours.
Please let me know how to troubleshoot this issue. Windows Event Viewer also shows this error " Faulting application FNDLIBR.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module SQLLIB80.DLL, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00009e1f."

This note advices to apply patch 5567785 (one-off patch).yes it is, i suggest check first you have this patch on your system or not. If it doesnt than i suggest take backup for if something goes wrong after patch. Than apply patch to your test instance

I have a client required to send notifications to outside email box, and also user will approve this notification through email.(i,e not logged into oracle and approve it) in 11i instance.
i need to send mail from po department to finance department
once finance department approves , then mail back to po department that your notificaiton approved.

to address:=[email protected]
as part of this we did IMAP set up
and used the following code. and getting the notifications from Oracle to my mail box.
my main issue is when user approves the wf notifications, it is not showing my specified email address in the attribute #WFM_REPLYTO, always it is showing the IMAP set up wfdev address
what is the value i need to use for this #WFM_REPLYTO
eventhough i am sending the to_address email id to the following attribute(wf_engine.setitemattrtext), the workflow approval not working for that email id.
only if i am using the '[email protected]' in the imap set up, then only approval is working.
how can i override this to_email address value([email protected]) to my desired email address?

Send Payment Advice via Fax & E-mail

Hi,
We would like to send Payment Advices to vendors via Fax & E-mail.
We have put the e-mail and the fax number in the company code specific data of the vendor (i.e. accounting clerk's data) and we have configured the Payment Advice form.
When we make a payment run and select many vendors, we want to be able to:
- send the payment advice for vendor 1, 2 & 3 by fax
- send the payment advice for vendor 4, 5 & 6 by e-mail
The issue is that only 1 PDF is created with the payment advices of all these vendors.
When we want to send it via Fax or e-mail, it will be rejected, because there are different fax numbers/e-mail addresses in 1 PDF document.
Is it possible in a payment run to generate 1 Payment Advice per vendor?

OBY6 - Make sure you have not ticked "No foreign currency exchange rate differences"
OB09 - Make sure sufficient accounts are maintained for account determination with loss and gain accounts.
OBA1 - Check your account determination for different keys
OBYY - Check your account determination in OBYY (probably this must have covered in OBA1)
check also in the configuration in case if have maintained any maximum % rate for foreign exchange differences per company code / per currency.

My push notifications for facebook, twitter, and mail completely stopped working!

after the ios 6 update everything WAS working fine before that ... all settings are set right i have tried multiple master resets and normal resets deleted the app and reinstaled it turn notifications off and on and pretty much read every forum i can find ... i have spent a total of 9 hours on the phone with apple trying to fix it and they cant fix it either ... no genious bar has been able to fix it either and no one knows what the **** is wrong
heres my opinion apple knows everyone will upgrade to a iphone5 if facebook does work so they curroupt 90 percent of there users or my next opinion steve jobs dies and so does apple because he wouldnt release **** til it had been extremely tested and it would work he dies and everything apple releases is ****

Try a hard reset. Worked for me using the various beta builds of iOS 5.

Calendar events issue Outlook for Mac: Failure to update or send notification for meetigns

We are seeing an issues with Outlook for Mac 2011 and calendar events. These events are in the past and Outlook will randomly post errors about the event stating that it has failed to make changes, please contact the original creator.
Additionally, some users are reporting that Outlook will not successfully send meeting cancellation notices to Windows users. All of the server and directory settings are setup correctly. Is there an issue with Outlook for Mac successfully sending
back to the Exchange server here? We're running Exchange server 2007 SP1 and in the midst of upgrading to 2013. Hopefully this and a host of other issues are resolved with 2013.

Sending notification for a person who is not a part of the WF

Hellow experts,
Does anyone know how can I send a massage from the CUP for a person who is not a part of the WF?
(Approval of a role creation and a standard WF in the CUP)
I want to inform a person in one of the stages. I don't want this person to take a part in the WF process.

All,
Amol is correct as you can specify groups to be the recipiant for workflows however, that will include them in the workflow path.
The other options would be to assign additional users into the Cad for information purposes but not assign them permissions to approve requests.
Or maintain the email address in the UME with the distribution list email rather than a specific user's own address. I wouldn't recommend this though as it could really screw up your master data maintenance!

Change send address for calendar reminder e-mails

I use Apple's calendar on my iMac and IOS devices. I often have it e-mail a reminder to me.
The e-mail address being used to SEND the emails is an old one that I do not use and want to get rid of. But, I can't figure out how to tell calendar to use a different email to SEND reminders to my normal email address. Is there any way to get Calendar to use a different email to send reminders to me.

P.S. Yosemite runs fine on my 3 year old iMac. And, amazingly enough, IOS 8.2 runs well on my old iPad 2, slow, but it runs well.

Notifications to bidders by e-mail

When I publish bids, system send notifications to bidders by e-mail. But not separately to each bidder, system sends one massage to all.
And we need one massage to each bidder (in one massage only one receiver). How can I do it?

Push Notifications(other than iCloud or mail app) sporadic

My push notifications(for apps other than mail) are sporadic at best. The biggest issue is with my IM apps. For a while I thought it was IM+ as the problem, but then i tried imo which has the same problem. FB and twitter notifications are now not coming in. This was not an issue prior to iOS 5.
Anyone having similar experience or have a solution?

Quit Mail.
Back up all data. That means you know you can restore the Mail database, no matter what happens.
Triple-click the text on the line below to select it:
~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Envelope Index
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return.
A Finder window will open with a file selected. Move the selected file to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is corrupt and that Mail has to quit. Click OK.
Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the file you moved to the Desktop. If you get a warning that the file is in use when you try to empty the Trash, log out and log back in.

SOST Repeat Send does not ask for new fax number or e-mail address.

SOST Repeat Send does not ask for new fax number or e-mail address. It does work for one user but not for any others. It is supposed to ask you if you want to change the fax number or e-mail address if you were the user that sent the document. Does anyone know if there are settings that control this somewhere? Using SAP R/3 vers. 4.7

Normally, we can change the receipient address, if we send. We can not change the receipient address of another user.
Check Note 685164 - Resending with recipient change.
As per this note Go to SM30 and add parameter "SOST_REC_CHANGE" value "X" in view "SXPARAMS".
Now, if you click "repeat send" icon, it will ask below two option in dialog box:
The message is sent again. You can change the recipient before
sending. The sent message then appears as a
as a new send request in the list
Send to same recipients again
Change recipients before sending
It is working to me ....

Mail sending new message notifications for Old Messages

Hi,
Since upgrading to Mavericks I've been having a ton of problems with the Mail App.
I'm running on a Macbook Pro (13-inch Early 2011 Model) with 4gb of RAM and OS at version 10.9
I have Mail connected to two different accounts 1 Gmail and one Exchange. The recently released "Mail Update" has not fixed these issues.
The primary issue is that every time I have Mail open it constantly pops up notification badges to say that I have new messages. In fact it is sending these notifications for messages that are in most cases months old. Moreover even after confirming these the next day it will repeat this for the same exact messages. I've attempted to rebuild the index by deleting the Envelope files in the Library as suggested in another discussion topic. This didn't correct the problem. The result of this beyond the annoyance of having the notifications constantly popping us is it also seem to make my system grind to a halt - while it is parsing these sometime 100's - of notifications.
I believe related to this (but not clear) is that in many cases delivery of messages to my exchange account is very very delayed. I will receive a message on my iPhone Mail app sometimes hours before it syncs into my Laptops Mail app (even with attempts at Manually checking mail.)
Anyone have any suggestions on how to repair this issue?

Try this:
Go into Preferences -> General and uncheck the box that says "Play sounds for other mail actions".
I'm not sure if it will work since that's really still "new" mail, but it might be worth trying.
