Sound does not work with some apps

Hi... With certain apps the sound disappears. For ex. playing Angry Birds....no sound, but speakers work well when i play any music from Itunes. Tried restoring IPAD and yet no luck. Any suggestions???

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music/iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Could it be that they're out-of-region DVDs? Which model MBP do you have (15" late 2011, for example) and which version of OS X are you running?

EPrint does not work with Google Apps for Business (hosted email)

I have looked up numerous posts, from back into 2011 even, and HP still has not resolved this.
HP's ePrint does not work with companies using Google Apps for Business (hosted email).
Our emails come from our domain, but from the servers/DNS of Google, so we wind up getting
the "550 5.7.1 Command Rehected" error.
This is a major issue as more and more companies (especially small business owners) are moving away
from having in-house/Exchange servers, and they are moving toward hosted systems.
You really need to find a way to stop rejecting emails coming from Google Apps hosted email.
It's been around 4 years now (looking at previous posts). Why hasn't HP found a resolution to this yet?

Safari does not work with some websites

Allthough Safari works fine with most websites, I recently discovered that with a few it does not work properly.
With one: http://prive.eneco.nl/ the webside does not recognise my user IDE
With the other:http://prive.eneco.nl/ it does not load the page after a selection is made
In both cases Mozilla works fine.
Is there any body who could advise a solution?

Back button does not work with some web sites to return me back too Firefox main page after concluding business on site.

After connecting to a web site and completing tasks, I use back button too return too Firefox main page. After using back button to get back to the original site log in page the back button (after repeated uses) will never get me off the web page and back to the Firefox main page. At this point the only way too get back too Firefox main page is too shut down Firefox wait 60 seconds and restart Mozilla-Firefox.

Some web pages are coded to redirect you forward to another page. In that case, when you go back to the page, Firefox redirects you forward again.
To bypass this, use the history drop-down next to the back and forward buttons. The drop-down has the most recent pages on top, and older pages below. Jump as far down the list as you can, then repeat as needed to get back to the first page.

I downloaded the 3.6.15 firefox, however when it comes up it is 3.6.14 coming up and it does not work with some of pogo games what is wrong

Your More system details list shows a Firefox 3.6.14 user agent, so it looks that the update didn't succeed. You can try to update another time.

I don't get sound on some websites or apps like vine. Video is fine

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

Will Apple repair an ipod? sound does not work with headphones.

I had this iPod for only a few months. I plugged in my headphones one day and only heard a crackling sound. Is this repairable? I have not damaged it or dropped it since owning the device.

- Have you tried other headphones?
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Check out this link - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4085. There have been instances where settings have accidentally changed. Double click on the Home button, swipe all the way to the right to reveal the leftmost icon and alternate settings if necessary.
