Sound Driver Problem on Pavilion g6-1215sv

Hi Everyone!
I am using Windows 7 on my Pavilion g6-1215sv Laptop. Yesterday I have downloaded Sound driver from this site and after installing, the sound volume is better BUT all sounds for Skype are gone, no one can hear me and I can not hear them, also no notification sounds, etc... It happens just for Skype.
Can anyone help in this?
Thanks.

  • Cirrus Logic CS4206A Sound Driver Problem in Windows 7

    Hi All
I am having a problem with our Imacs. When we first installed windows 7 on our macs we found that we had no sound on the windows side and i figured out that the wrong drivers where installed so i have got the right driver off the MAC OS disk and i have installed the sound driver manually on our macs.
This originally fixed the problem but not every so often the sound driver breaks and we have no sound on the windows side. When i diagnose the sound driver is says there is a fix for this please apply this fix. I apply this fix and surprise sound comes back but this keeps on happening and is rather annoying.
Has anyone had this before and if so has anyone found a fix .
    Thanks
    Scott

  • K7T Turbo2 Sound Driver Problem

I just installed a K7T Turbo2 motherboard for my #2 system and am having a problem installing the VIA sound driver.  The system freezes up before it finishes the installation and once I reboot the Device Manager says that since Windows stopped responding when trying to start the device, it wouldn't attempt to start it again.
I've tried new drivers (both sound and chipset), tried reinstalling the drivers a few times, made sure the sound card was active in the BIOS, and even removed a couple of extra spacers from under the mobo so I just have them on the four corners.  Any other suggestions?
    Thanks,

I think during the course of trying to get it to work, it requested the gm16.dls file.  However, I think I finally got it installed from the Windows disk.  Could this still be causing the problem?
Also, I tried out my SB Live! card from my primary system - the drivers installed and the card worked fine.  I would prefer not to have to buy a seperate sound card, if I can get the on-board one working.
    Thanks again,

  • Sound driver problems

I recently installed Windows 10 build 9841 on my Dell Inspiron 3531 from an old bootable USB I had lying around from last October or so. The OS and a few updates installed without issue, but this morning, strange things started happening. The computer was
in sleep mode. For some reason, and without my consent or approval, the computer turned on by itself and began installing a new OS (which I would later discover to be Build 9926). To my pleasant surprise, there are many improvements. However, my audio is now
completely down. I checked the sound drivers, and everything looks fine. I even tried a Realtek 6.0 driver, which gave me error code 18 upon restart and did nothing. I did, however, notice a few small clues in the Events and Driver Details tabs of the
properties of my sound driver. Under "Information" in "Intel(R) Display Audio Properties," there are some events titled "Device Install Requested," "Driver Service Added (IntcDAud)" and "Device installed (intcaud.inf)."
Under "Device install requested," I found this:
    Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2882&SUBSYS_80860101&REV_1000\4&70377b6&0&0201 requires further installation.
However, I do not see how this could be the problem, as the exact same sequence and text appear in the original install six days prior, and my sound worked then.
Also, under the Device Manager tab "Other Devices," I found another listing of my sound driver with error code 28. The entry is entitled "Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus." The error says:
"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
This operation returned because the timeout period expired.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."
Please help, I want my sound back!!

There is a known problem with the realtek driver (among others).  Realtek is working on it but there is no ETA for a fix.  Here is what they say
    Speaking of that big Realtek
driver package, I’m sure you’ve seen the issue with it failing to install with a 0x800705b4 timeout error. We’re still working on a solution for that one

  • Sound Delay Problem on Pavilion DV5 1138 NR

I have this Pavilion DV5 1138nr Entertainment Notebook PC, and I also have a 23" HP monitor (w2338h). It is also connected through HDMI. The only problem is that there is a horrible sound delay in the built in speakers. So basically, it's like when I go to shut down my computer, it cuts out the first part of the sound, and same when I start it up. Or if I just get an error message, it cuts out the first part. Is there any way to fix this problem?
    Thanks

  • AMD Radeon Driver problem in Pavilion dv7 notebook

I have a pavilion dv7 notebook and for the last couple months I have been experiencing problems with my graphics driver.
It began with a notice that my driver was out of date, so I went to the AMD website and attempted to install the update. I ran the dxdiag tool to find that I have a AMD Radeon HD 6620G graphics card. I could not find my product on the list to manually install the update, so I tried the amd driver downloader tool and it had a problem recognizing my graphics card. I then tried to update it through the HP Support Assistance and that seemed to work for awhile.
Yesterday my screen changed to the lowest resolution and a notice came up that it wasn't recognizing my graphics driver. I have again tried to manually update from the AMD website. When that didn't work I downloaded the AMD driver downloader and after installing all it told me is that "your computer does not contain a proper graphics adapter" and closed the program.
I am uterally lost at this point, and any assistance would be greatly apreciated.

  • Tecra S11-15T asks to install always sound driver

    Good day all
My Toshiba laptop S11-15T has a sound driver problem, every time I restart my laptop in want me to install a
Microsoft UAA bus driver high defection audio driver.
I've tried re-installing the sound drivers but it doesn't do the trick.
    Please assist...

    Hi
What Windows OS do you use?
    Is it Win XP?
As far as I know the Win XP SP3 contains the Microsoft UAA bus driver high defection audio driver and some patches and fixes.
If you use this system, I recommend installing all patches and service packs firstly.
Then you should uninstall the sound driver and after new reboot install the driver which you could download from the Toshiba page.

VERY VERY VERY EASY (now, when I solved the problem, not before...!!!)
Insert Micropone or any jack in Micropone Input or Aux Input, on your sound card or motherboard !
AND NOW YOU CAN USE PREMIERE PRO 2.0
    Enjoy
