Sound Flower is not installed

Hi
I've donwloaded SoundFlower sofware but then in the taskbar (where the Volume is, on the top of the screen) I see this message :
SoundFlower is NOT installed.
So I cannot use it !!!!
How can I use it, does anyone have an ideao please ?

I confirm you andyBall_uk that you are "right" the beta version is far much better ....
....because everything works well now !!! So it is really needless to buy any mic.
It sounds like now the Windxxxxx Recorder and much better of course !!

You’re not able to install your audio driver.
Here is a link to a post that attackofzaq wrote that will walk you through the steps to install the driver in compatibility mode.

You don’t install VS2010 on the client PC, then where did the Form Invoice not work? When you run it from another version of VS? Or when you run the application with application.exe?
Based on your description, one form works well, another form does not. I assume that two forms are in two different projects, then please check the .Net Framework used by the two projects. If they are different, you can use the
one used by the Form contact for Form Invoice.
Because this issue is a project issue, I recommend you to consult it on some application forum such as Windows Forms General forum for better support.

I have a Mid 2009 Macbook Pro 13 with no restore disk; it has OS 10.8.4 I believe there is something wrong with the OS due to I can not install flash player to view Youtube videos and the when we plug in a Bose headset the sound out will work sometimes

I bough a used Macbook Pro mid 2009 that came with OS 10.8.9 it didn't have a backup restore disk with S/N W8******66D
When trying to view some youtube videos; a window would pop up saying "it needs adobe flash player is required for video play back get the latest flash player" but after downloading the file and during installation would have errors and will not installed.....tried to reboot and install again.....but still the same.
The othe thing I had noticed is when using a good Bose headset with mic the sound output would noticed the headset and then switch from headset to Internal speekers and headset.....thinking that there might be something wrong with the plug in port of the computer or the headset.....the headset works with no issues on my iPad so there must be something wrong with the computer.....tried to move the plugin around the port but no change....while the headset is plug in can hear a short clicking noise and the sound would get lost and back again......but with nothing plugin to the port there is no issue with the sound or mic.
Thanks for your feed back......it looks like I have two different issues one is a software issue and the outher is a hardware issue

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.

Sound quality is not as it used to be! after installing windows 8.1

i have a hp envy 6-1002tx laptop which came with windows7 HB but i upgraded to windows 8.1 recently.
since then the sound qualtiy is not the same as it used to be.. it's not loud any more. i have to keep the voulme at 100 to listen. while back when i was using windows 7, even on 60, it was loud enough to be aublible.
i have installed the sound driver recommended by the HP site for my laptop.
there is no support for windows 8.1 from HP.

Not only that but if you look at the date of the audio driver, it was released almost a year before W8.1 came out!
So, how can it be for W8.1?

Why my Logic Studio 9 (upgrade) does not install Soundtrack Pro, sound effects etc..?

I just bought Logic Studio 9 (latest I suppose) upgrade version. Now I figured out that it does not allow me to install for example Soundtrack Pro, Sound Effects etc... How can I install them?
Logic Studio 8 was not installed prior to install because OS X Lion does not allow me to install logic studio 8.
What should I do now? Complete uninstall OS X and only update to OS X Leopard?

You have either moved the Applications or re-named them. For the updaters to work the Apps must be named "Logic Pro" and "MainStage.

Qosmio F10 display and sound drivers not installing

Hi, my hard drive went and on replacement we used the toshiba recovery disk.
We have installed the Intel Chip Software and then NVIDIA driver. It says its installed but makes no difference after restarting computer. The sound driver starts to install and then says driver not found. We have downloaded new drivers and keep getting the same results.
The operating system is XP home. Any advice is apperciated.

Which difference should it make? After driver installation your computer will boot in the same way as before so I dont know which difference you expect after driver installation.
As Akuma wrote normally after using the recovery disk, all drivers and tools are preinstalled. Do you have yellow exclamation marks in device manager?

Labview 8.6 sound and measurement suite not installed properly under Vista 32 or 64 bit

I apologize if this isn't the correct place for this post but I'm in need of a solution. I recently purchased LabVIEW 8.6 Developer Suite with the Sound and Measurement Suite to create a NVH testing program at my company. I'm a newbe at Labview but I've been a programmer/computer hardware geek since the days of the TRS-80 model1. Here's my problem. I installed the package from the developers suite DVD's on my Windows XP professional desktop and everything is fine. I see the Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite listed under LabVIEW 8.6 in Measurement & Automation Explorer and the toolkit examples work in LabVIEW. When the laptop I purchased to do my actual work arrived with has Vista Business Edition 32 bit version installed I found the following problem. On that machine and two other Vista machines(one 64 bit and one 32 bit) that I tried, the installation doesn't register the Souind and Vibration Suite under LabVIEW 8.6 and they show the Sound and Vibration toolkit as not installed in the examples section. In the Windows control panel under National Instruments, all 4 machines show the Sound and Vibration Suite 6.0 as installed. I've tried to uninstall, reinstall, modify, from the control panel, and reinstall from the DVD's with no change in the outcome. I really need to get the laptop working as this is my actual development and test machine. Installing XP is not an option as the machine is newly purchased with a high end sound system and XP downgrade wasn't available. I'm out of ideas.

I wanted to let close this as I got it working finally. This time I un-installed the Sound and Vibration entries from the LabVIEW control in Vista's uninstaller. Then re-installed and now it works. Before there were three entries, one for the suite, one for the runtime, and one for the toolkit. After removing all three and re-installing from the DVD, only the suite shows up, and all seems to be good.

Satellite U400-17R - Sound device is not working after installing XP

Hi there,
I purchased a U400-17R Model with Vista Home. i Formatted it and installed Windows XP Professional downloading the XP drivers from Toshiba site.
Everything works but my Sound Device is not working. when i check in the Device Manager the Sound Drivers are there and it says working properly.
I am Lost...Can anyone please help?

On Windows XP you have to install two patches from the Microsoft Knowledge Base for high definition audio cards. If you only have SP1 or SP2 you need the patches but if you have SP3 you dont need it because they are a part of SP3.
Both patches or SP3 must be installed *first* and then the sound driver. So if you have installed the sound driver first you must remove it and then install the patches again. After this it should work with the sound:

I have a Tecra 9100,running XP pro with s/p 2 and when I try to install the Yamaha AC-XG sound driver it will unzip the files then looks like he's loading the files thru InstallShied, but then a error message comes up "driver was not installed" I have tried several different ways but no success,any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sound Blaster SE, driver not install

Hi, I just went out and bought Sound Blaster SE and installed it on my computer. But, no sound... so I uninstalled it fully and came here and downloaded the newest driver, I installed it and still.. no sound. So I came here and followed all of the guides and STILL NO SOUND! So I went into DxDiag and checked DirectSound and this is what is shows:

After running the test directsound button I get this:

Note the (No Driver).. odd seeing how it says 3 inches above this that I do infact have a driver installed..
I have onboard sound disabled and I have pcspeaker disabled. I'm running Windows XP Professional. The "no WHQL" wasn't there when I installed the driver via CD, but I still had the same (No Driver) issue.. so I don't think it is that.
If I can recieve ANY help, It will be much appreciated. I would just like to have working sound!

Sorry to double post, but I have heard that reinstalling Xp Pro will fix this problem, but I do not have the CDs anymore.. and I can't shell out the money to buy it again (that's why I got SE, it's cheap). Is there any other fix?

Dear All, I Have a trouble with my toshiba protege M500. After i am turning back to the factory install then the sound did'nt work. I try to install hardware detection software buat all off them said that the 'Sound Hardware not Installed'. What i have to do to solve this problem ? Try to install everest software. You can find it at download.com . Once downloading it will give you a report of what kind of sound device you have and a link to download the latest driver( probably it will be from toshiba web site).

Sounds to me like a hardware issue or maybe something is stuck in the headphone jack. When you plug in headphones, the jack in the iPad is switched to play only through the headphones and not the iPad's speakers. Sounds like either the jack is faulty or there is something stuck in the headphone jack. Get a flashlight & look inside the jack for anything that looks like it doesn't belong in there.
Regardless, I'd take it in to an Apple Store if you have one nearby to have it checked.
EDIT: "Ocean20" had an excellent suggestion above. While doing that, you may also want to rotate/twist the plug in the jack back & forth a few times as well. Dirty contacts can often times be cleared by doing this.

Uninstalled sound flower but is still showing in the sounds preference pane

Hi, I uninstalled a program called sound flower, but it's selection is still showing in the sounds prefrence pane, can you tell me how to remove it, thanks.

I was trying Dictation on Mountain Lion, but I couldn't make it work with Soundflower installed (it seems it doesn't works with ML). So I uninstalled it (downloading the installation .dmg and clicking the uninstaller). It removed everything from my computer but the mic still don't work properly.
I go to Sound Preferences and the microphone receives every tap I do on the keyboard (it's a MacBook Air btw), but not my voice. I need to be next to the keyboard and talk there.
As you can see, there's no Sounflower options anywhere.
